Rodin Hostel

The pics you see are very old and fake considering the current state of this place. It's pretty bad quality, they don't clean often so bedbugs are growing there. I recommend spending more money on a better place

Beds were riddled with bedbugs and the owner didn’t seem to care and did nothing about it.

La gente que trabajaba en el hostal y los viajeros de turno de 10. Lo único malo es que la primera cama en la que dormí tenía chinches, pero en seguida me la cambiaron

My friend and I stayed here for almost a week and we can say that: Pros: -Location -Staff -Atmosphere -Overall cleanliness is good. Bathrooms and dorms got cleaned everyday. Cons: -When we arrived my bed linen were dirty so I asked for fresh ones and the staff happily supllied me with it. -My friend got bitten by bed bugs. -Kitchen is a kitchenette. -Back patio drain smell can be annoying during the night.

It's a good hostel, but we were not very lucky in our stay there. I was bitten by bedbugs at my first night and we spent more than one day without hot water. Besides, the dorms are small, the bathroom, even though is regularly cleaned, gets messy really fast once there is no shower curtain. The atmosfere is nice, but the lack of a confortable common area makes it less interesting. At last, we were a bit disapointed by the neighborhood's night life.

BED BUGS!! We had a great time in Istanbul and we met geat people in the Hostel ! However I got bitten by bedbugs and I found some of them in 2 curtains. When I told the owner I asked to be in another room for the next night, he told me thag he only have 1 private room where we could fit. I asked if we could have it for the same price as we paid, and/or a refund for the night. qhis answer was that the private room was more expensive and that I have to pay 18 euros more !
