Woke up next to a dead bedbug. I showed the staff & they didn’t care. Nasty

The hostel is good but I DO NOT RECOMMEND 2day 1 night trip in the natural reserve because it clearly does not worth it. The guide was really bad, can’t speak an understandable English ( none of the group was understanding) and he did not try toe act kindly. He said “I try to be nice with you so you will bring me more clients” so we feel like business money only. Did not even try to explain to us the history of the reserve. I was really disappointed

Locatie was prettig centraal in Khao Sok. Zelf weinig te doen op locatie, geen centrale ruimte om te chillen. Bed kraakte enorm hard.

Decent hostel, weird place tho. It is quite apparent that most people are just here for a night before they go to the national park. Recommend going to black stone cafe for dinner!!!!

Excellent breakfast, nice staff and good value for money with a decent bed. Everything about the hostel was great other than monkeys on roof. Everyday monkeys climb on roof at 6 am for 2 hours. Louder than jet engines.

Jungle Hostel Branch 2 is a decent hostel for a short stay. The breakfast ist absolutely superb - have never gotten such an amazing breakfast in a hostel in Thailand. It’s basically hotel-style. The staff is really nice as well and also the dorms are pretty comfy. Great value for the location. Not too much to do there it’s more a place to stop before you go into the national park.

Worked for one night - very much a jungle hostel. Even saw a monkey stealing chips outside the dorm and later walking in, so keep the door closed haha. Despite many beds, the dorm was spacious with good privacy. My only complaint was the bathrooms: bad smell and no toilet paper. Not very social and no real common area, but that was fine as most people were just passing through. WiFi and mobile data inside the actual room was poor.

The people that work at this hostel are so kind. I came back from the lake tour and I didn’t have a booking anymore because we were leaving that afternoon. But the girl that worked there still let me take a shower and use a towel. They have great food aswell, and the breakfast that is included is amazing.

This is a nice hostel in most ways, except no social features. The rooms are high-occupancy, but have plenty of showers + toilets directly connected, with a quiet door that does well to block noise. The bunks are very spacious, with excellent privacy curtains and a long extra space running the length of the bed to keep sruff. Free breakfast is a nice bonus that really adds to the value. The woman at the front desk was really helpful, finding my lost charger and helping me get to the bus station.

Very efficient lady on the front desk. Not much of a social scene however most people are just there to spend the night before/after the floating bungalows tour. We did said tour and it was very good. Clean hostel with big windows and balcony space

One of the best dorms I have been in. Each individual 'pod' is spacious and the curtains give good privacy.

Nice stay at this hostel. The dorms are very spacious, with enough room to store your belongings. There’s no real common area.

The (inside) bathrooms were really dirty, filled with flies and bugs. Everything else was fine though, the staff were really nice!

Das Hostel ist preisleistugs mässig in Khao Sok echt gut. Man kann an der Rezeption eine Tour in den Nationalpark buchen, kann ich sehr empfehlen!! Die Betten sind wirklich toll, sie sind super bequem und haben richtig viel platz. Das Bed ist aber eher schlecht, es hat die ganze zeit gestunken und war nicht sehr sauber. Es war aber auch ein Bad für den ganzen Schlafsaal. Das Personal war super lieb und hilfsbereit.

good for a one night stay before heading to the national park. The bathrooms could be a bit cleaner but other than that I have no complaints.
