If there's something to rescue, was the breakfast. I'm surprised the hostal is still running from the sanitary perspective. The bed sheets had stains, the toilet and the shower door were broken. And only part of the staff was nice. Woke up at 6:30 on Sunday as the music from the restaurant was loud. Upon my arrival check the comments on trip advisor and they were really bad. Unfortunately, I totally agree with all of them.
Dirty bed with hairs everywhere, a lot of noise at night and no water pressure.
Bij inchecken spraken ze geen Engels. Wij wilden ipv 2 nachten 1 nacht. Dit was mogelijk. Maar wij zouden ook sandboarden. Dus moesten we opschieten. Dit was geen probleem. We kwamen terug en ze hadden een nieuwe reservering gemaakt. Aanbetaling die we gedaan hadden werd niet verrekend. Moesten we maar met hostelworld regelen. Vervolgens op de kamer hadden we een koude douche met weinig water. Enorme tegenvaller na het sandboarden. Buiten voor de hostel is een p. Veel geluid: laat maar ook vroe...
We wanted to go to the beach for 2 nights 1 night. It was possible. But we also wanted to sandboard. So we had to hurry. It was no problem. We came back and they had made a new reservation. The payment we had made was not charged. We had to arrange with hostelworld. Afterwards on the room we had a cold shower with little water. Huge counterpart to the sandboard. Leaving the hostel is a p.
Functional and fine
El lugar podría estar más aseado, en el baño hay mucha arena. En general las instalaciones están bien.
The place could be cleaner, in the bathroom there is plenty of sand.
Although generally a pretty good hostel with a nice private room, friendly staff, cool hangout areas, the big let down for us was the lack of hot water (warm at best) and insufficient pressure, which is rough when you're trying to get a day's worth of sand off you. However, the location is great!
No kitchen, says on the Hostelworld that sand boards were available to use. We asked and got a rude no. I mean, it’s cheap, and any place in Huacachina is expensive so is David’s only 1/2 nights if you have too. Staff weren’t the best at helpings but the pool was nice.

The owner is pretty nice, nice location also. The pool was our highlight. The breakfast was the worst thing about our stay: My girlfriend has gluten intolerance. We asked about something else instead of bread. They broad a small sliced up acocado. But they took half of the bread away for the avocado. After I talked to them, they brought the bread back.

Super nice hostel. The location is a 1 minute walk to the sand dunes entrance. They have big fans that are very powerful and the staff are all super friendly.
Vriendelijk personeel goede locatie. De prijs qualiteit is zeker okay.
The price of the quality is definitely okay.

very nice and rather quiet hostel. nice pool, though not much sun is allowed troughout the day. nice restaurant and nice personnel as well. overall very nice, and obviously close to party hostels like wild rover and viajero

Fantastic hostel! Great and helpful staff, amazing pool-area, location next to the giant sand beds 10/10. Been travelling for 1,5 month now and this is the best stay so far.

Good location. Room was spacious and clean, however low pressure shower with little hot water. Restaurant onsite is very nice, breakfast is okay. Good stay for a couple of days to enjoy the dunes.
