If you could stay somewhere else I would, though. The owner will force you to pay the remainder of your deposit in cash, and will hold your passport hostage until you do. Before arriving there was a bedbug infestation. My room was fine. I asked the owner about it and he became extremely defensive. You cannot use the sunbeds near the pool without paying. They WILL kick you off. Showers were small and flooded.

Room had bedbugs, no refund issued. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Not clean enough, bathroom doors doesn’t work, my roomie finds bed bugs. I cant recommend it

While I think this hostel works for a Paros stay because there are few hostels on the Greek islands, this hostel is not clean. I don’t think of myself as picky but the shower water is kept inside using a wooden moldy block. I wouldn’t stay in there longer than you need to. I also have reason to believe this hostel gave me bed bugs, and I don’t believe there is much regulation or upkeep at this hostel. But the amenities are nice (rooftop and pool) and the location is right near the beach.

BED BUGS :( The hostel had a great environment, purely because of the travelers that were staying there. The rooftop is a great place to meet people; but the other common area was lack luster. Nadia was great when we met her on the first day, but after that there were very few times any was at the reception desk (even for checkout). The rooms were not clean, the ladder for my top bunk was broken and I left the hostel covered in bed bug bites. The people I met were the only reason I stayed.

Bed bugs! Please be careful! It’s clear that the bed bugs had been there for at least a few weeks as there were fecal spots from the bugs all over each mattress in the dorm (4 bed, mixed). We found bugs as well and took photos of everything. My friend is allergic to bed bugs and broke out in hives so we had to leave to get her medical attention. I emailed them to let them know but haven’t heard back. Also note that check in is in cash, and their reception is far less available than advertised.

Curious why my rating says 2 when I gave everything a 1 star. I tried to give it a 1 on everything and 5 on location and it averaged to 4 which is super inaccurate. Location is the only good thing about this place. It’s not clean, it is ingested with bed bugs. You will not a fresh towel or sheets your entire stay. The guy at the front desk was creepy and said inappropriate things. Met some cool people though

The hostel is located conveniently but is honestly very poor value for money. Facilities are old and often dirty, hostel seems very disorganised, and I heard stories of bedbugs and strange interactions with staff. The social atmosphere is fantastic though, the rooftop is a great place to meet new people.

the pool was nice, as was the location. the rooftop was a nice addition as well. they messed up our booking, which lead to having to move rooms each day. I also got bed bugs here…

Stayed here 2 nights and I’ve counted now at least 70 bed bug bites. Seemed like a cool place but ouch!!!!!

There weren’t any bedbugs when i stayed. I think they changed over the mattresses however they still weren’t very clean. The ensuite bathrooms weren’t very clean but for the price it’s alright. The facilities were a bit run down but the atmosphere of people and location was very handy getting to the port and getting food.

It was good for what it needed to do, but I heard some stories about bed bugs. Shower was moldy but aside from that cleanliness was ok, very fun and social in the evenings and on the roof and great pool. I would come again.

For sure not the cleanest place I’ve stayed, but no issues with bed bugs as others have mentioned. You can tell it has seen its better days. It however has a good location and a rooftop that you can easily meet other guests on.

I did not have a positive experience here. There was a bed bug situation which caused many people to leave, and after finding some in my bed I had to find other accommodation very last minute. Staff were quite unfriendly, unhelpful and not apologetic in any way. Despite this, the hostel has a good location but facilities such at bathrooms and the kitchen require significant improvement as many things either didn’t work at all or were extremely outdated.

Do not stay here!!!! We had a horrible bed bug experience! The beds are completely infested with bedbugs and the rooms are dirty. We were completely covered in bites, had to sleep on the balcony, the whole bed was covered in black dots and we even had pictures of the bugs in the bed. When we reported the bed bugs the owner still denied everything and only changed the sheets.

We got bed bugs… Even though sheets were cleans, mats were dirty and the room is not really welcoming. The place is really really basic.

We got there and were told we had to stay in 4 different rooms each night of our stay. The next day other guests found bed bugs in their room so we left. The poll was nice

i really enjoyed my stay here and as my friend could no longer make the trip they were able to refund the money for the nights she didn’t stay which was very kind! the roof was a good place to socialise with everyone and i thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. although i didn’t have any issues there was some talk of bed bugs from some other people staying at the same time.

Die Lage des Histels ist sehr gut, man ist in wenigen Minuten am Strand oder Hafen, wo auch Busse zu anderen Orgen der Insel fahren. Leider gab es in einigen Zimmern Bettwanzen und das Personal ist nicht sehr gut mit den Beschwerden umgegangen. Auch musste ich lange an der Rezeption warten weil niemand dort war.Zudem war die Küche sehr schlecht ausgestattet. Die Stimmung war abends auf der Dachterasse eigentlich immer gut.Dies wurde immer selbst organisiert über eine gemeinsame WhatsApp Gruppe

*BEDBUGS!* Me and my friend stayed at this hostel for 6 nights in May 2024, the first thing to note is the payment is cash only so be sure to take some out to pay for your stay. We stayed in a 4 bed mixed dorm and found the room was okay, the shower didn’t seem to drain so the bathroom was often flooded. We also found that although the cleaner did come every day, the sheets and towels didn’t seem to get changed at all during our stay despite it saying both of these would be swapped for fresh ones every few days. Our main issue was bedbugs, my friend noticed bites on her the second night we stayed in the hostel however couldn’t find any in her bed so we hoped it was just mosquitos and didn’t want to cause a fuss without any real proof of bed bugs. Throughout our stay her bites got worse (20+ bites just on one arm), but we still couldn’t find any bugs in either of our beds. On our last day we checked again and did find several bed bugs in the mattress and reported to Geogre the owner immediately. His response was good and he moved us to a new room along with the other people in our room. We aren’t sure if the issue was properly treated, however as we checked out the next day. Another thing to note is the social areas are a bit lacking, the kitchen is very outdated and the rooftop area consists of half a building site and several chairs most of which are broken. Overall the hostel was alright considering how cheap it is, we met some lovely people and had a great time as the location is amazing, just double check your mattresses before you sleep in them!!

We stayed for 6 nights, on night 2 my friend was bitten severely by bed bugs but we couldn’t find any in her bed. After 3 days of looking we found some and told Geogre (the owner) immediately, we showed him the bites and the bugs and he removed us from the room (room 5) and put us in a new dorm. He also did the same with the other people in our room. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and location and George was very friendly and helpful, however just be careful and check your beds just incase!

Cheap, good location close to the port and many restaurants, nice roof top terrace and pool area, simple but sufficient dorms with lockers and clean sheets every day. The owner could've given a bit more info/could have shown me around when I arrived (he just asked me to pay). I had a good time though with the lovely people staying here and I did not get any bedbugs!

This hostel had a serious bed bug problem in the 6 bedroom mixed dorm. We stayed 2 nights and I had bites all over my body. The mattresses were changed with no notice on our second night which made us feel like the staff knew about the issue but did not take it seriously and were not transparent about the problem. I usually do not write reviews but I would hope that since there is another review about bed bugs on this website that the issue is taken seriously and they actually fumigate.

Ich hatte etwas schlechte Erfahrung mit Bettwanzen (ist ja nicht deren Schuld, aber der Umgang damit war fragwürdig: Ich hatte nach der ersten Nacht welche entdeckt und es dem Besitzer gemeldet. Er hatte die Matratzen ausgetauscht aber meinen Zimmernachbarn nicht mitgeteilt. Es stellte sich heraus dass überall (Vorhang ect) immer noch welche waren. Dann hab ich zwar umsonst einen Waschgang für meine Sachen bekommen aber ich habe später erfahren dass er schon im März darauf hingewiesen wurde)

The location and staff of this hostel were perfect, however, my friend and I noticed bed bug bites after staying in the hostel for 2 nights.

Hostel is well located about 10 minutes from Paros port. There is a large kitchen and rooftop area for socialising which helps with meeting new people. The staff are helpful if you ask them. It seems to be cleaned every day and bed sheets and towels are provided and changed daily, however I still found a bed bug in my bed. There is also only one bathroom in each room and don’t seem to be any bathrooms in the common areas, which can lead to bathroom queues. The shower is very small and cramped. Each room als

Had to change rooms because of bed bugs but ended up with bites even in the changed room. Staff didn't have courtesy to accept it. No locks to the bathrooms. No lockers in the room. Wouldn't wanna go there again.

Solo traveller and felt super safe and the place was very affordable! Super close to lots of restaurants, beach and port/bus station. The social scene was unreal and so fun. I met the most people here who were all super kind. They had a pool and rooftop we went to each night. Bathroom was gross but to be expected but bed was always clean. One friend found bed bugs apparently which is a nightmare but I was fine and there all week.

Sadly we were victims of the bed bug room. We booked our stay a few months ago, so by the time the first bed bug review popped up (3 weeks ago) everything was booked and we didn't bother to check the reviews again. Upon arrival, it was notably the dirtiest hostel we had ever been in. The ground was grimy and there was a thick layer of dirt on the floor. We're pretty easy-going and well traveled, so spending a few nights in a dirty hostel to save a few bucks was not going to be a big deal in the grand scheme of things. However, our friend woke up in the middle of the night with massive bites all over her arms, and we found beg bugs all over the bed and crawling up the walls. The hostel owner was kind and respectful of our situation and gave us a refund due to our discomfort and disgust, but he still insisted that they were not bed bugs, so he has 0 intention of closing the room to visitors. Seeing as that first review was weeks ago, and the bugs are at such a bad stage that they're full-grown and spreading across multiple beds and crawling around the walls, I can only assume the problem will get worse. On top of the fact that we needed to suddenly find a new place to stay, we also had to pay to get all of our clothes washed and dried to kill the bed bug eggs and prevent their spread from ruining out vacation (and potentially our homes, had we brought them back with us on the plane...).

BED BUGS. Dirty room. Do not book. I got bit all over my body. And we were forced to move the room in the middle of the stay but the owner didn’t even apologized. *And they only accept booking fee as cash* which is suspicious. 한국인들 절대 가지마세요 베드버그 물림. 방청소 진짜 안함. 그리고 갑자기 방 중간에 바꾸라고 시키면서 미안한 내색도 안함. 무엇보다 베드버그 있으니까 절대 피하세요. 그리고 숙소 비용을 현금으로만 받음. 탈세로 신고하고싶음.

Do not waste your time and stay here!! My friends and I stayed for 5 nights, and one of my friends got bed bugs. When we confronted the owner, he claimed we “planted the bed bugs” just so we could “get a discounted price”. He kept calling all of us liars that we strategically doing this 10 hours before our check out. He kept yelling at us, talking over us when we were speaking, and began threatening to call the police on us. He was even threatening to not give my friends passport back to her if we didn’t pay him CASH instantly. Bathrooms were filthy and had mould everywhere, and the rooms were not cleaned properly once the entire time we were staying there. Only good thing was the pool and the other backpackers staying there. Please reconsider if you’re staying here - not WORTH IT!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! This hostel was THE WORST I have stayed in. The rooms were a disgrace. There were bed bugs in one of the beds and to top it off crumbs, hair and bugs from the previous person in the beds. The maid NEVER cleaned our sheets or the bathroom. We had to get fresh sheets upon request. My friend got bed bug bites all over her body and once we finally complained the owner refused to believe it. He was so awful and rude, insisting that we purposely put bed bugs and dirtied the room. On top of this he would not check the bed for bed bugs, he made us do it and when we checked the bed bugs appeared. He still insisted they were not from his hostel. DO NOT STAY HERE - unsure how this place is still running.

This was probably one of the worst hostels I’ve stayed at! The rooms and bathrooms were filthy, my friend got bed bugs and they refused to check the bed and claimed she “planted” them in the room, even though she had bites all over her. The owner started threatening to call the police on us and wouldn’t stop yelling over the top of us. The only good thing was the pool and the location is close to lots of shops and restaurants. It really was a terrible experience that I hope no one else has to go through.

the vibe was honestly off when i went there. i’ve never experienced a hostel with so much drama, but that might just be the time that i went. a creepy guy had been harassing all of the girls and eventually got kicked out (but it did take a while for that to happen, how come??). he stayed around, and that didn’t make me feel safe. there’s mold in the ceiling of the bathroom and i definitely got bit by something in my sleep (not bedbugs, luckily, but it definitely threw me off). the pool area was nice but locals in the apartments above it was creeping out of the balconies and talking to each other about people, so lying in bikini i didn’t feel comfortable. area felt boring. i booked four nights and left after two. george is really nice though.
