Not the best

extremely disappointed, the breakfast is more copious in prison in my country and no sense of customer service. I spend almost two months a year in this hostel, I really thought I was a special customer, I had to go to Siwa for a few days and come back to this hostel, I asked if they could keep my bag for me, I was asked for 5 dollars per night when I had just spent a week just before my request and I had to come back for a week after my trip I was shocked and really very disappointed

BED BUG & DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE My friend and I both started to have allergy, very itchy red bumps and red rashes after two day stay in this hostel. This place is very dirty. I literally left and found someone else to stay. Also they charge for towels. It’s ridiculous. The place is unclean. It’s dark and it’s depressing. Worst Hostel I’ve ever stayed in.

This place has gone down hill bad dirty through out , windows that didn’t shut in the dorm with holes in the mosquito blind watched the cleaner use a lint roller on bedding instead of putting on clean bedding shocking

El clima lo apagaban en la mañana y no lo volvían a prender hasta las 8 o 9 de la noche, ni había agua ni pare el baño, ni para bañarse de 11 a 7 pm

Good place to meet people and Good vibe .The only things is the Wi-Fi is supper slow, I have tried 7 different hostels in downtown cairo, holy sheet is definitely the slowest. If you require strong Wi-Fi, please avoid this hostel

The total charge for my stay was 300EGP for a night which I find a little expensive when compared to other options online. Over all I really liked my stay and everyone is international so it felt really happy and safe to be around them. I can recommend this.

Me and my girlfriend booked a private room at Holy Sheet. First of all, as every place in Egypt, I don't know why, there's no separation between the shower place and the toilet bowl. After our evening bath we realized that there was water leaking from the shower area towards the room and our backpacks got all soaking wet. The next day we were offered another room, which was a nice gesture, but had exactly the same problem. So we just put a lot of towels and decided to deal with it.

The hostel provides a great range of services as well as very comfortable, spacious and clean rooms. Bibu, Pluto and other members of staff are remarkably gracious and solicitous.

Important to know there's also a "Holy Sheet Hotel," which is a different property at a different location. We booked the 4-bed room with ensuite. When we arrived at 6:30pm it wasn't ready and we waited more than 20 minutes before giving up and going to dinner. It was ready when we returned an hour later. It was huge, with twin beds in a separate bedroom. However, the shower wouldn't drain, leaving the bathroom floor with standing water. When we asked at reception they told us to use the dorm/sh...

My stay at Holy Sheet Hostel was great. The rooms are clean and modern, there is a great included breakfast and the location is very convenient. The staff at the hostel are all so accommodating, especially Omar who really helped enhance my stay and make it a more positive time by being such a friendly and genuine guy :)

Das Holy Sheet Hostel liegt sehr zentral und ich habe mich auch als solo female travellor sicher gefühlt. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit, das Frühstück lecker und das Hostel hat ein breites Angebot an Touren. Das Gebäude ist ziemlich heruntergekommen aber dafür kann das Hostel ja nichts und die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Ich habe in zwei der Privaträume geschlafen aber der Female Dorm sah auch sehr gut aus. Danke für die guten Tipps und die schöne Zeit!

the hostel has a very good location in cairo, central and close to everything. The rooms were super clean, and really felt private in the shared rooms. The staff was also great, they always made sure we know the best places to go in town and always got good recommendations from them. Especially Bebo was very friendly and super helpfull. I trully recommend!

Overall an alright stay, I didnt like the pushing to buy the tours at 3am. Toilets could be cleaner as well.

Lovely place in a great location. Rooms are spacious (big lockers and curtains a huge plus), bathrooms are clean and many, the free breakfast was great and I loved taking the cool old-style elevator each day. The staff are also super friendly and welcoming, especially Martin who generously took the time to help me plan my whole Egypt trip and gave me great advice on tours.

Everything is clean, beds are comfy, good location in downtown and breakfast included. Its good for the price. But the wifi and hot water were both patchy, social side was also hit and miss. Overall good for a short stay, most of the staff are also very helpful and friendly but there was 1 guy who worked at night that seemed a bit rude. Theres currently no road outside and the building is under work, its easy to miss.

We had a really nice time at the hostel in Cairo. We were two girlfriends staying and this place was very welcoming and safe. We had an incident happen to us in the street and the staff was more than helpful. Holy and Bebo were great meets!

Great stay, helpful staff and location, proper hostel.

I was having a lot of enjoyable here, my stay was good, One of the team (bebo) helped me a lot to find everything I need it and recommended for me a lot of restaurants were very good, he also organised for me tour, I like this hostel and I felt like my home .

Thoughtful friendly staff, privacy curtains/sockets/generous lockers by the beds are a lifeline, rooms are atmospheric with nice views on the balcony, breakfast is basic but quite nice, bathrooms and clean, excellent location. I stayed at 3 hostels in Cairo including top rated on Hostel World and don't quite understand why this didn't come out on top

Holy Sheet Hostel was awesome. Great location, facilities, and rooms. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Thanks to Bebo, Holly and the others, I know more about Egypt and done great trips. I can absolutely recommend this place.

This Hostel is great with really nice and friendly staff, free breakfast and great beds with curtains. It was not super social when I was there but I still had a good time. The bathrooms seem a bit dated but they work and they are decently clean.

Loved everything, the staff are awesome.

Very well located hostel (but a bit hard to find)! The bathrooms and showers are together, so the floor may get quite wet, which is not ideal, but it's the same almost everywhere... the trips they offer are also cheaper than in other hostels, being the same!!The breakfast is simple but great (the cookers do it at the moment and they are so sweet!). And the best part was all the staff, everyone I found behind the counter and cleaning was an amazing person and so happy to share their culture!!
