My bed had bedbugs and i got bitten the whole night

Hittade bed bugs i hela sängarna. Hörde sedan av fler andra att det hänt tidigare. Sedan läste vi här att folk hittat för flera månader sedan, så hostelet gör uppenbarligen ingenting åt det. Vi fick iallafall tillbaka våra pengar.

Vi hade tyvärr bedbugs i samtliga fyra sängar i vårt rum, som vi insåg mitt i natten. Vi fick vänta i receptionen i 4 timmar tills de öppnade vid 08.00. Hostelet gav oss pengarna tillbaka men det verkar inte vara första gången det händer.

We arrived and the pictures didn't reflect reality. The rooms weren't really clean, and the bathrooms were even worse. It smelled really bad. On top of that, there were bedbugs, and the location was unfortunately not central. The staff was very friendly, and the food in the evening was nothing special, but it was good.

This was the first hostel I’ve ever stayed in and everyone was telling me how lucky that this was my first. Staff were amazing, family dinner was incredible and so lovely to meet people and organise going out together. I never wanted to leave! The staff were also super friendly and helpful, yes it’s a bit further out from any clubs etc but they are so helpful and meeting people in the hostel made it easy to organise going places as a group. The best part was the kitten Collette who was around 5 weeks old and was living at the hostel, everyone was taking care of her she was absolutely adorable. Would recommend to anyone considering to go!!!! (Also I saw reviews of bedbugs but there was definitely none, maybe they were getting confused with ants but this is standard anywhere) (also saw a review about no chargers on top bunks but there was you just had to reach a bit further down)

This is a great hostel! Some recent reviews warned of bed bugs, but there was 3 of us and we had no issues at all over 3 nights. The rooms are nice and comfortable, however shower and toilet are the same room. Common area is beautiful, has a pool and conducive to socializing/meeting new people. I found the male staff more friendly/easy going while the one younger lady was a bit intimidating and not as friendly. Location is FAR out from almost everything in Uluwatu (20min scooter ride). The Warung right next door is awesome!

When we were in this hostel (April 2024), there were bedbugs in our room and other guys' rooms. It's a pity that they don't fix the situation because the hostel is really nice.

We found bed bugs one night in multiple rooms. We made the staff aware and they refunded part of the stay, however we saw that the rooms were put back on the website later that day so clearly they are not trying to resolve the problem. Other than that, the family dinner and atmosphere was good. A little far from everything but okay if you rent a scooter.

Ganzes Bad war voll mit Bienen und Hornissen! Generell überall Käfer, Ameisen,… Das schlimmste war, dass wir dort BETTWANZEN bekommen haben!!! Tür von dem Zimmer konnte man nicht abschließen und die Vorhänge waren weiß, also war es komplett hell bei den ersten Sonnenstrahlen.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It was not a very social hostel. There is family dinner, but the bar closes at 10pm. The hostel doesn’t organise going to a pub or anything like that. As the lockers are very small, you can’t fit everything in there. A shirt of mine was stolen. There is no reception after 10 o’clock, no phone number, no e-mail. So you are on your own. The front door has no lock, so practically anyone can walk in, doesn’t feel safe. There were bedbugs as well

The main problem with this place is it’s infested with BED BUGS. I stayed in two different rooms and both had bed bugs. But Good vibes n nice staff. For the price you’d expect it to be clean and not infested with bugs.

Do not stay here! There’s constant bed bugs which the owner and staff try to keep secret! I only found out there were some in the room when someone from my room told me. I came back and all my clothing on my bed was gone; you’d think they done the nice thing and cleaned them, nope they said there were no clothes on the bed meaning my north face shorts and tops grew legs and walked off by them self. I spoke to the manager about this and he said I should have used the locker, but they didn’t provide a key and how can u fit a 70L back pack into a small locker. I would recommend sleeping on the streets before this hostel.

actually a very nice hostel with great opportunities to connect, especially at the free dinner. the staff was very friendly & helpful. the rooms were okay, not so clean & the bathroom smelled really badly. lockers were tiny and did not do their job. unfortunately we found out we had bedbugs during our third night there. we were shocked to find out that it was a known problem, since we heard it from other rooms & the staff was aware as well. when we looked at our pillows closely, it was obvious that there were bedbugs living inside and was just hidden with a pillowcase. we consider it very irresponsible by the staff to still give us this room.
