Lushy Hostel Nusa Penida

Helaas hoorde ik van een Nederlandse meid dat er bedbugs in haar bed zaten, waarna ik dezelfde avond m’n bed ook checkte en helaas idd bedwantsen. Ik heb wondjes van de jeuk, verder was de badkamer ook erg onhygiënisch en deed maar 1 kraan bij de wastafel het. Verder zeggen ze activiteiten te organiseren maar veel van deze dingen niet door. Verder was het wel gezellig

Watch out for bedbugs!! I discovered it in the middle of the night and luckily I was able to change rooms. But check it before you go to bed

Most the staff are lovely except the couple who find it funny to turn the music up as loud as possible seemingly just to watch everyone complain about the noise and dance behind the bar, there’s ants everywhere under the beds are filthy clearly the mattresses never get properly cleaned, someone had bedbugs in there room and the next day saw people in the same room very much doubt the room had been properly cleaned of bed bugs within the 12 hours. Was the worst hostel I’ve stayed in Indonesia.

Great location, affordable, very lovely staff! We did find bed bugs in the curtains of a bunk in our dorm (obviously not the hostel’s fault, just going around) and the staff resolved the issue immediately, moving all travellers to a new dorm. Overall a lovely stay!

Good vibe, beach and staff. At first glance we wanted to extend. However, we found BED BUGS in the bed. They let us change room but we found bedbugs in both the second and third room we changed to!! Because there was no other hostel we could change to we got a fourth room. Did not find bedbugs there. they did not understand the seriousness and did not inform other guests.they did not close the rooms with bedbugs, only cleaned that specifik bed and did no decontamination which is bad for spread!

Bedbugs in Room C5 Got a refund and left when I found out.

BEWARE BED BUGS - staff were not really helpful saying that it was a beetle. The next morning I squished one and blood came out. Were not too fussed about it and said that they would inspect the bed, when I pressed about closing the room and getting a exterminator in they said it wouldn’t be necessary because people bring them in their luggage not their beds. Not much is being done to tackle the problem. Showers are also bad with signage pointing to use outside showers if not happy? Weird.

Really liked this hostel. Beds were so comfy and big! Did the west tour with the hostel which was so good, and the staff were so helpful with the boat times and booking me a taxi. Someone in my room thought they’d found a bed bug (I didn’t have any) but the way the staff dealt with it was so good, they came in the room straight away and cleaned the whole place and spent about half an hour on each mattress so they took it very seriously. Can’t fault them! Really social too

Lushy is walking distance from port and 20-30 mins to the main restaurants. They organised our snorkelling trip where we saw manta rays and got on the boat right in front of the hostel. The food was good and decent priced. The beds were quite big. However the hostel was quite run down and not very clean. The bathroom’s were not nice. Your bag is basically kept on your bed which isn’t the nicest and we heard girls mention bed bugs. Our group booking was also split into 2 rooms.
