The Only Backpacker's Inn

La chambre sentais énormément la cigarette et nous ne sommes pas fumeur. Le matelas du lit était défoncer, j'ai eu tellement mal au dos. Il y avait présence de punaises de lit. L'emplacement du lit dans la chambre était sous un escalier, donc à chaque fois que quelqu'un prenait l'escalier on se fesait réveiller/marcher dessus. Il n'y avait Aucune insonorisation, je pouvais entendre la conversation des voisins.

disorganized - bed bugs unfortunately, my friends and i had a bad experience at this hostel. we booked a shared dorm for 5 of us, months in advance, knowing the rooms fit 6 people and we would be sharing it with a stranger. upon arrival they told us we were in separate rooms. apparently to be 5 people together, despite booking it together in 1 booking, we would have had to send an email before arrival specifying we wanted to be in the same room. this wasn’t disclosed anywhere in the booking, though. i have never experienced this at another hostel. staff was friendly but did absolutely nothing to rectify their booking error. it was just disappointing that we did not receive the service that we payed for. i also woke up with bed bug bites the next day. i can’t say whether or not this is a common occurrence at this hostel, none of my friends have any bites, but it was just the cherry on top of a disappointing stay.

I love going here, every time I stay overnight in Toronto will be here. The people you meet are lovely, there is free breakfast, wifi, and showers and the beds are very reasonably priced. It is right around the corner from a subway station and transportation to and from is very simple, plus it is well maintained so you never have to worry about bed bugs or dirty sheets. Cozy, fun, and relaxing 10/10 ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
