Kapai Hostel is a big, practical base by the river and very close to the bus terminal, with the center within easy walking distance. It has wide shared spaces, two kitchens, and a terrace with a strong river view. The common areas can feel lively, and there is even a friendly cat around. Room types vary sharply. Some bookable units are enclosed capsule-style beds with built-in light, air conditioning, and a mirror, while other dorms use ordinary bunks. One campervan-style unit has its own sitting area and heater. Storage space is good in many rooms, and the kitchen is well equipped with hot water and tea.
