Summer Stays at The University of Edinburgh

Well I stayed there during fringe festival for 2 days. The staff was fine and so is the location. But the toilets were dirty without soap and the room did not have hair dryer. The breakfast was nice but please go as early as possible because it gets so crowded that you’ll have to stand for 10 min just to get your coffee.

En website, hicimos un filtro de una habitación para 2 personas y nos salió una habitación individual que claro no leímos fuera para una persona al haber hecho un filtro para 2. Cuando llegamos allí nos cobraron el doble y nos quisieron poner en habitaciones separadas, finalmente lo solucionaron pero eso sí, pagando más del doble!. Esto es un error de la plataforma que no hace que sus filtros trabajen adecuadamente y den la información incorrecta.

Good place for cheap sleaping. Clean and good

The room was big enough for one, has enough storage space and your own sink. I had a shared bathroom, that was fine. There are many in the hallways, so I never had to wait. A minus of the room: there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, which was promised in the description of the room. My complaint about this was brushed off, a quite unpleasant experience. During the night it was often quite rowdy outside with groups outside and trucks delivering goods, that was a minus.

Great location inside the university campus, very calm and convenient.

Interesting type of stay. I definitely felt like a uni student even though I never was. It's like a labyrinth to get in and out of an orienteering skill won't go astray to find your way around. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was abundant you won't go hungry!! The room was generally ok just outdated the bathrooms much more. Sheets and bed was again okay. The price was ok for the experience overall 🙏✨️🇦🇺

Dorms are excellent. Property was very clean, was actually surprised by how well managed it was. Just a bit slightly off downtown, so you’d need to walk a bit to get to the Royal Mile, but the breakfast they offer more than makes up for it 😁 Would for sure stay here again!

We had a great stay here! Accommodations were as described and breakfast was great every morning. The location was close to Arthur’s Seat and you can walk to many areas! Def recommend!

Staying in this place nestled within a lush green campus made me very happy. The location is about 1.5 km away from the city center. Access to public transportation is very easy from right in front of the campus. Breakfast was included. There was a quite extensive breakfast menu, so I was very pleased with that. The bed was not great, but for a single room in such a campus with breakfast included, it was manageable. The cleanliness was extremely satisfying. I would stay once again.

Adequate living space with some outdoor spaces. Many breakfast food choices. Good public transport system if needed. Would recommend to all. Affordable.
