It is quite hard to access the room, they do not have elevator on the first floor, only stairs

Room was surprisingly quiet for the location, but not super clean. Location was convenient for popping back into during the day as needed. Very expensive but in line with other accommodation prices in the city.

Pro: Good location Cons: 1. Found a totally stuck and leaky 2. sink wih a almost broken WC door lock. 2.stairs are so narrow..not safe at all. 3. No elevator, so if you have luggage don't stay there..as it would be really difficult to carry up and down with the steep narrow staircase.

It wasn’t too bad. We arrived at the hotel and the staff gave us an upgrade in our room. We got a bigger room but it was also on the very last floor. The stairs are SO steep that it was a little uncomfortable to go up and down (I’m also pregnant, so it was definitely a workout!). The room was overall clean but the sheets felt like they had been there for a while. Expect noise. The people staying there weren’t respectful and arrived late being very loud. Staff and cleanliness were great. Close to central station. Good wifi. We were prepared for stairs but five narrow and very steed flights were a bit more than we were prepared for. Not a major issue if you’re young and fit. But if you’re not then they could be a challenge.

This place is awesome! Great location and super safe. My cousins and I had so much fun going out but knowing we had a nice quiet private room to come back to. I will say it is on the expensive side but it’s Amsterdam so really you won’t be find too many cheap options here. It is very much worth the money.

Chambre petite pour 4 personnes (12m2), idem pour la salle d eau (3m2), escalier très raide pour accéder à la chambre, autour de 300€/nuit sans petit-déjeuner, pas de cuisine commune que le site indiquait pourtant. C est cher. Quartier très vivant, à 7’ de la gare centrale.

The place was charming and cozy, the room itself was not the best, but it is worth it for the location!

Great location and staff. The bar was average price for the area. The room was clean and ready early, which was amazing. Will be booking again when I return in April.

Great stay! Simple but good! The bathroom/shower amenities was the only thing that was just so so small. But still a great place to stay.

AMAZING place to stay, room was lovely with amazing view of river, lovely atmosphere, friendly, helpful staff, great fun food, drinks, had a fun time playing darts in the evening, quiet setting not far at all from train station, red light district will definitely come back to stay

Actually cannot say enough good things about this property. My favorite place I stayed my entire time in Europe, room was absolutely fantastic with a great view. Get one of the ones with the canal view, its worth it. Its funny and charming that you get to the rooms by walking through the bar. Really good time here.

Dans l’ensemble nous sommes satisfaits, même si des progrès sont à faire sur l’isolation phonique vers l’extérieur et vers le couloir. Les immeubles ne sont plus de niveau. Le personnel est très disponible.

When we arrived we had an issue with the expectation that we were expected to pay twice and then be reimbursed at a later date, but somehow in the end this was resolved and we didn't. Then we were upgraded to a better room - not so many stairs and an en suite shower which we rally appreciated - the stairs were steep and we are both 70 odd. Very convenient location - only down size - no kitchen.

This is an excellent hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful and they helped me to have a smooth and straightforward stay. The bar serves fine beer and the breakfast is recommended. A great location to visit many parts if Amsterdam from and not far from the station. I've been twice and am sure I will one day visit again.

Good location, clean rooms street outside can get quite loud (was woken up to literal screaming at 1am on a Wednesday night). Only issue I would say is they kept 100 Euro as a hold fund for a couple of weeks which may not sit too well with some travellers.
