The loft dorm beds are very cozy and comfortable, I loved having a plush doona and slept really well. Nice view! We were lucky enough to book the loft when no one else was staying so had the whole place for ourselves - it would be very different if there were 8 people + the caretaker in the apartment (yes it’s located in a big apartment complex). The kitchen did feel a bit unkept/dirty but I understand that the caretaker had been unwell so likely that this isn’t how the place normally ...
I had a very pleasant stay. I stayed in a dorm but the loft has more of a guesthouse feeling. The host Ann is very nice and accommodating and is present most of the day. I stayed two nights, one night there was one other very nice person, the other I was alone. I was in the mood for some peace and quiet so it was great. If you are looking for more ambiance, this might not be the place for you.
l'appartamento è molto bello e io sono stata fortunata perché nel ddomritorio ero sola e nell'appartamento c'erano solo altre due ragazze e siamo state molto bene assieme. L'appartamento è bello e ben tenuto e vicino solo al lago per il resto è lontano da tutto, ci si deve muovere per forza in tuk tuk per qualsiasi cosa. lo staff è stato gentile ma non è stato ad esempio in grado di dirmi che non serviva che tornassi a prendere il bus alla stazione delle corriere ma che a pochi metri c'era...
The apartment is beautiful and well kept and close to the lake for the rest and away from everything, there you have to move necessarily in tuk tuk for anything. the staff was kind but was not able to tell me that I did not need to take the bus back to the courier station but that a few meters away there was a stop
The loft is a beautiful appartment and Anne was a wonderful caretaker. She was helpful, responsive, served us delicious breakfasts and was happy to recommend local sights to us. Unfortunately, the washroom is closed off from common areas with a curtain only, so if there are multiple bookings, you will need to be flexible on privacy. We also found it quite irritating to have a caretaker constantly present in the relatively small common area. Overall it was sufficient, clean and comfortable!:)

We had a wonderful stay at the Loft Apartment in Nuwara Eliya! The place was very clean, cozy and had a super relaxed atmosphere. A special thanks to our caretaker Ann, who was incredibly kind and prepared delicious dinner and breakfast for us. One of our highlights was the nearby family-run strawberry farm “Royal Mist” definitely worth a visit!
Really nice tiny appartment next to gregory lake. A nice view from the balcony on the tea plantations.

I had a great stay! It felt more like a super clean shared apartment than a hostel. There was a small dorm and two private rooms, and a cozy shared living space. It had a social but calm vibe with lovely people. Beds were very comfortable, and the design is beautiful. Bit far from attractions so you’ll need a tuk-tuk, but no real downsides. Would stay again!
Quiet place a bit far from the city. But the loft feels super confortable !

This was to me a wonderfull place to feel at home, You van get a pick me easily that will bring you in to town. Ann was very sweet and available. From the balcony you can see the lake, and really peaceful and needy!

Lovely Host, cozy beds and good breakfast.
We had a very nice stay! It was very clean and the beds are comfortable. In the kitchen is everything you need and there is filtered water as well as a hot shower and WiFi :)

We had a truly wonderful stay at The Loft. From the very first moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Ann, the housekeeper, who immediately made us feel at home. She spoiled us with delicious teas and breakfasts, and was always kind and attentive, sharing stories about the area and offering helpful advice whenever we asked. The Loft itself is spotless, cozy and tastefully arranged, with a direct view over the tea plantations. Highly recommended!
