Evergreen Hostel Krakow

Staff were horrible, roaring at anything we did, very impatient to us & other people staying in the hostel overall bad atmosphere. Also not being allowed wear our shoes into the hostel and having to wear communal sliders was unbelievably unhygienic and so unnecessary.

Avevo chiesto di cambiare letto da quello a castello superiore a uno inferiore, e nonostante ci fossero posti disponibili, la richiesta non è stata accolta. Le docce erano davvero troppo piccole, senza spazio sufficiente nemmeno per lavarsi comodamente. Inoltre, il letto era molto scomodo e i cuscini estremamente duri, rendendo difficile riposare bene. In generale, non lo consiglio

Posizione ottima e spazio comune conviviale. La cucina ha l’essenziale e prestano le ciabatte. Purtroppo i bagni sono scomodi e poco puliti: niente appoggi per cambiarsi, pavimento sempre bagnato, muffa e doccia rotta. Il contatto WhatsApp è stato scortese. Consiglio solo a chi si accontenta di una buona posizione e non ha troppe pretese su pulizia e manutenzione.

Unfortunately very dirty bathroom with barely enough space to get changed in the cubicle. Only 2 showers and toilets for 3x rooms of 4 and 6. We mentioned to the staff that the toilets were dirty and they were very defensive and dismissed us. You can tell it hasn’t been cleaned properly. Also a bit of a weird vibe because it’s just someone’s apartment they have turned into a hostel and not very social. Location was good but overall wouldn’t recommend, not sure how it has such a high rati...

Great location-close to old town and in jewish quarter. Staff friendly and knowledgable. Rooms facing street with noise. Bunk beds feel unstable. Rooms hot with no airflow, air purifier but no fan. Bathroom cramped with insufficient facilities for amount of people staying. Hot, humid air from showers blow back into living area due to no ventilation. Noise carries far. Flooring not sturdy-can hear every step thumping through to your bed when sleeping. Would not stay again or recommend to others

Unfortunately, my stay in this hostel was not particularly pleasant. The showers were dirty and the bathroom smelled unpleasant, which significantly worsened the overall impression of the hostel. The kitchen was extremely minimally equipped and not really suitable for cooking - it lacked basic things such as oil, sharp knives, a working pan, etc. (not completely scratched) which made preparing meals quite difficult. However, the good location of the hostel should be emphasised.

The overall value for money was great. It was cheap, in a good location and provided a place to sleep from which to go do activities. The room was quite hot at night and there wasn’t much in the way of a fan or a/c to offset this. I wasn’t after a social atmos so the vibe suited me just fine. The staff (Asian male) was quite unpleasant particularly with check out, very highly strung and created an unwelcoming environment. I’d suggest an attitude/tone adjustment would help. This hostel disappointed me truly. Check in was very hasty and chaotic. You are asked to use slippers in the house for hygiene, but the bathrooms and showers were disgusting. There was hair all over the sink and showers, the toilet had a bad smell and looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a VERY long time. The bed was extremely hard (even though I love a tough mattress, this extreme), the pillows were extremely hard and weirdly big as well? Not comfortable at all. Only plus: location is 👍�...

The location of this hostel is definitely a plus, the kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook something (although I missed some oil since I wanted to make eggs) and maybe a filter jar (Brita) since tap water is not drinkable in Krakow. Apart from that, the check in was quite easy and simple and they have a very nice way of 'late check out' in case you need to leave your bag there for a couple of hours, and it's free of charge.

Very pleasant stay. The bathroom facilities are quite small with not much room to shower, change, use the sink, etc. but otherwise it is very nice with a great location. Would stay again.

Amazing location, very comfy and cosy hostel. The small shared bathroom wasn't amazing but it was fine. The giant lockers were great though

I would definitely recommend this hostel to someone going to Krakow! The location was convenient, being in the center of all the activities in the city, has much as being very cosy and affordable for a student such has myself. Really has a great time :D

nice hostel with curtains, clean and small, but the atmosphere wasn't the best, and unfortunately there isn't a washing machine nor an elevator. but good price for an hostel with privacy curtains if it is important to you

Good hostel, well located between the old town and the Jewish quarter. Lots of information posted about things to do in Krakow. The toilets were a bit dirty and could use a good cleaning.

Hostel is clean, has a nice laid back vibe and is on a quiet road but close enough to all of the main attractions in Krakow

Perfect location to explore Krakow by foot. Overall clean and very quiet. Safety lockers with keys were available

Really cute and good value! Great location. Love that it has curtains on the bed. A bit hot in summer though. The bathrooms are a bit smelly / dirty but it has a good kitchen and cosy hang out area.

Globally, it was a nice stay. The hostel is ideally placed in the city. Downside, the toilet were not really clean, but I hope this will be improved in the futur!

Amazing hostel in Krakow, right in between the old town and the jewish neighborhood. The rooms and beds were really nice and cosy. The bathroom was clean. Kitchen was well equiped and the living room was really nice to hang out and meet new people. Staff was really friendly and here to help and their recommandations were great ! It's a really small hostel with only 3 rooms which makes a fantastic atmosphere, great to meet new people !!

Chilled nice place to stay central. Only one working shower but there are only 3 dorms so didn’t matter much. Good kitchen and bed with curtains.

The location is great, the room I was in was also fine; the bathroom was not very clean and it would need some renovation. Overall it’s a good deal for the price

It feels like a shared flat: small, cosy, relaxed, convenient. It is very close to the city centre but off-centred enough to be quiet at all times. The kitchen is well equipped and, like the bathroom, very clean. It is very easy to connect with people in this laid-back space. IMPORTANT: The email says it is on the 3rd floor, but it is actually on the 2nd (if you count the ground floor as 0).

Quite a great central location in a historic and great apartment building. From there you can access various trams and buses to get to anywhere you want to shop and explore. Peeps are great here too but the shower gets a bit flooded from time to time. Anyway have. A good day
