B&B Mexico Roma Norte

Es un hostal/Airbnb con nadie disponible para pedir ayuda. El baño compartido es un rollo porque otros huéspedes lo usan de tocador y tienes que esperar demasiado. El sistema para entrar al edificio es malo, necesitas esperar afuera unos minutos a que alguien te abra desde adentro con una aplicación que rara vez funcionó. No puedes salir y volver rápido porque los empleados te ven molestos por tener que abrirte seguido. Deberían dar el código para entrar y ya. No hay muy buena vibra tampo...

Unfortunately I didn’t like my stay here: - Power points did not hold charging cable in room; had to charge electronics in bathroom - USB ports also didn’t work - Everything cold and damp; there’s black mould starting to form in the bathroom - Linen very low quality; doona cover, sheets and pillow case almost felt plastic - Poor wifi connection; I had to use so much of my data - Bed and pillows hard and uncomfortable - I stayed for 5 nights and the room was not cleaned once

Very different experience from what I expected. I've never done this before but had to checkout early as the room was not up to standard. Sheets were dirty. Upon arrival was greeted with a demeanour as though I was inconveniencing them. I already had a very long journey and no welcome or anything just started going off on about how I can't have guests and other things. If you look at some of the other reviews they seem fake.

Location is great. But besides that there’s nothing to recommend. The WiFi isn’t working, the staff is rude, the access to the kitchen is so limited they shouldn’t be allowed to list the kitchen as an option to use, the system for getting in the door isn’t working so you’re left standing outside which is very unsafe at night.

Not recommended… The location is good but: 1) it is not an hostel… it s a private house and the owner do not give you the entrance code. You have always to ring. I came back at 2AM and it took 30 min to get opened 2) unfriendly staffs

I stayed here for a few nights after getting tired of a loud hostel dorm- and this provided the R&R I needed! It’s very secure, although I found it tricky to get in the first couple times. The staff was very kind, communicative, and helpful. My one con is there wasn’t any social atmosphere, it felt more like a hotel. But, if you are wanting a quiet comfortable space this will deliver.

Wasn‘t worth the money. On Hostelworld it said breakfast included, but it wasn‘t. Paying by card would have cost extra as well, but still he did not have change for the cash. The shower in the closest bathroom did not have warm water. The drinking water was mostly empty. The windows are so thin, you here the huge street as if there was no window at all. Also I don‘t like not getting a key for the frontdoor. You have to ring and wait every time. Room okay. Location good.

The wifi did not work as expected. On our first night it was ok, but totally didn't work last 3 days. And no one to fix it since no one is sitting at reception unless you are checking in. The room smelled very old and musty when we arrived. The sheets and bedding were fine, but the walls and curtains had a bad odor. Stains on the towels. You don't get a code to enter the building, so you have to wait on the sidewalk to be let in We had to wait almost 10 mins two times Very frustrating process...

The location is in a quiet and desirable part of town. My room was spacious, mostly empty. A small table and simple chair to use a laptop, review notes, or read would have been nice. In a city with so many other alternatives, wonder bread toast and instant coffee at breakfast are disappointing. Giovanni was exceptionally helpful, eager to please guests, and shared recommendations on activities, food and attractions. Some other staff were more into their texting. I would stay here again.

Would've been nice to have more access to the kitchen. Getting in touch w staff was a hassle (before, at arrival, checking out). Note: this is a B&B, not a hostel, so it's meant to be quiet, not super social, yet there was a lot of noise in the morning.

Me sentí muy cómodo en la propiedad. El baño que me tocó, solo lo compartíamos dos habitaciones, así que estuvo genial. La ubicación del hostal (para mí que nací en la CDMX y ya no vivo ahí) me resultó muy buena, ya que está a unos metros del metro, y a unos metros de la Colonia Roma y Condesa. El personal es extremadamente amable. La próxima vez que regrese a la CDMX, sin duda iré a este Hostal.

I liked staying here! I got a lot of privacy and the staff was great. Breakfast was always good and the host and staff are very kind.

Super relaxed and easy hostel in a perfect location. The staff is super kind and were always available. Really clean, perfect for couples or people that just want a chill place to sleep. The only thing one could approve is that you always need to ring the bell to open the ground door, which was no problem but it could more comfortable with a key or card. Would stay here again, thanks!

Enjoyed this property. Very comfortable and breakfast was a positive. Great for Roma Norte and Condesa. No complaints.

This was a great place to stay on a first trip to Mexico City. It was very secure and close to lots of fun restaurants and not far from the city center via either bus or taxi.

Cozy little spot. A bit hard to find but once you do, you hit the video doorbell and someone either buzzes you up or lets you in. A little spooky getting in but not a big deal. No AC so it’s probably a little warm during the summer but you can always open the window over night. They provide you with a floor fan. WiFi was not great but that’s now a big deal since there’s so much to do in the area.

Excellent place, very comfortable, awesome value for money. Everything is so close, the area is really fun, there are fun bars in front and a few steps away on the same block. Angel was super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

I highly recommend staying at this place. Location is wonderful, Paseo de la Reforma just a few blocks, the best of Roma and Condesa within a 5 or 10 minute walk. The staff were so kind and helpful, always trying to make us feel at home. Thank you so much!!

Great location. Nice and quiet.

Excellent hostel, I would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect -- between all the neighborhoods you'll want to see. And the staff was super helpful and had great recommendations. It was very clean and the rooms were large. The neighborhood felt very safe, too. The only thing I think could improve: 1) the 2nd floor shower would sometimes cycle between hot and cold water for no apparent reason; 2) a portion of the outlets in the room didn't work. But overall a great place to stay!

Very good place, really nice People who runs BB, location Is excellent, Very complete and delicious breakfast if you reseved that fare. All in one excellent, you can go wrong at this place

Wir kommen gerne wieder. Man muss wissen dass es kein typisches Hostel ist sondern, wie der Name sagt ein Bed&Breakfast. Dadurch ist man privater. Hosts super freundlich!
