Alert alert alert alert alert Attention attention attention!!!! No no no no don’t book this hostel stay.. We were 10 friends stayed here for a night.. and it was really one of the longest nights.. no sleep at all not even a wink for a sec.. the pain in words I’m showing here are like few pebbles of an entire huge limestone mountain… Bedbugs made the night horrible.. first of all they didn’t provide us complete 10 beds, I slept on floor and for that they gave me a blanket to lie on ground.. within few minutes I started scratching all over my body, at first instance I thought it was instant skin allergy but when I switched in torch of my phone.. I found the real assassinators.. no of bedbugs moving on that blanket.. oh my god I couldn’t sleep I just roam here and there and lie on a poor sofa in common area.. The room was so congested for 9 persons.. it felt suffocating and so filthy room ambiance.. poor sanitation and cleanliness in only washroom they had for 9 persons.. Please never visit this place again in your life.. otherwise you will experience the worst period of your precious and beautiful life.. Poor!! disgusting!! horrible!! cheap!!! Never come here please

stayed at Gibbon Backpackers Hostel and had an absolutely terrible experience. I found a bed bug directly on the bedding (I even took a photo of it). Because of this, I completely lost my peace of mind and couldn't sleep a single wink the entire night. A backpacker hostel needs to at least provide a clean, safe place to rest, and this was completely unacceptable. The property urgently needs deep cleaning and pest control treatment. I definitely would not recommend staying here until they completely resolve this infestation

The place is really badly infested with bed bugs. After a week of staying here for just a night, my whole body is still covered with hundreds of bite marks. I had stayed here 2 years back, it was a bit rundown but had a good vibe. Now, it's just uninhabitable. Needs serious upgrade.

The guy who manages the place is actually nice and helpful, But bhai the bed, bedsheets and walls are soo dirty, everything needs serious improvement. The beds have insects, the rooms are dirty, and the walls give off a very negative vibe. Overall, my experience was really bad, and I wouldn’t recommend this hostel to anyone at least not until things get much better here. I hope the management teams gets to see this and make this hostel a better place, coz CLEAN BED without the bedbugs are just a bare minimum one can expect from the hostels bhai, (no hate just a genuine review)

I booked a single room and barely managed to sleep at night. Lots of mosquitoes and cockroaches, bed bugs, dirty sheets, blankets.

I had a terrible experience at this hostel. The beds were infested with bed bugs, and I barely slept, managing only an hour of rest. Despite this serious issue, the staff seemed indifferent, as if it were normal. By morning, I was covered in bites, which was both uncomfortable and distressing. There are numerous comments about bed bugs, mosquitoes, and hygiene written on the walls, yet the staff does nothing to address it. I had booked for two nights but will be leaving after just one. I'm unsure if the owner will refund my money, but I strongly advise against staying here until they properly address these issues.

You get what you pay for. After tax I paid 400 Rupee for a night but I had in my first bed bedbugs that were bitting me, I didn't feel comfortable showering there and in general there is mold all over the cellings. Staff were helpful and friendly but overall I personally would go for something more expensive and mainted than that places. It was good that the place had lockers so you can lock your items because there is no CCTV cameras or things in place.

Pros 1. Cheap rate (350/450) 2. Bathrooms are clean dorms are clean 3. Owners and managers are really friendly and nice people 4. You can socialise with people Cons 1. You may find couple of bedbugs 2. If you are too concerned about safety and security let me tell you there aren't enough cameras around the dorms and gates are mostly open even all night but people claims this place to be safe.

Worst dorm with lot of bedbugs. No power supply in ac rooms. Lot of chaos at night. Dont go by the ratings.. it should be given -1. Worst experience ever.

The worst hostel experience ever. I came here solo, just for one night. The hostel is not clean, the 4 bed dorm did not have bed bugs but all other rooms had bed bugs. The hostel is full of mosquitoes and there’s no one to put a coil for the mosquitoes. The hostel does not have a property manager to take care of things, only a caretaker to take care of check-ins. Random guys got drunk and got into a fight at around 11pm. There was a long power cut, the hostel doesn’t have a power backup. Washrooms are okay-ish (not very clean). Went by the ratings and came here but it turned out be the worst experience ever.

Worst hostel ever, i was awake whole night because of bed bug everywhere in dorm, it was a worst nightmare, plus the caretaker was also not accepting it and blaming us that he provided us a bed a we are finding out flaws in it, never book this hostel ever, plus there was no water to freshen up.

I stayed there along with my friend for one night. But sorry to say the bed has got bedbugs termites, which bite throughout the night. Pathetic experience. Owner needs to take these things seriously. Also few drunkwards were playing loud music till 5:00 am in the morning. There needs to be some restrictions.

Bed bugs !!!! We were told bedbugs issue was treated but seems they didn’t check after treatment was done. Plenty of them around Cleaning is an issue, with having full time resources on site for full day I fail to understand why will any be issue? Good place and people but bedbugs will keep me away for any future travels here

Don't go there, the hostel is infested with bedbugs ! Westayed for one night in Gibbon Backpackers hostel and during the night we realised that the beds were full of bedbugs. The owners knew about it but didn't care. The hostel is also pretty dirty.

Once upon a time it used to be a great hostel but everything has so worsened these days, there’s is no one in the property to manage after 9pm, drunkards keep on shouting and playing loud music till 4 in the morning, people from outside came here partied and left, beds are infected with bedbugs, I could not have 1% of sleep after trying so hard. No cleanliness is maintained. I stayed at this place multiple times made friends but this would be my last visit as this is not the same property anymore. It’s high time owner should keep a manager or someone to maintain everything.
