Green House Resort

Zonder airco te warm, zonder eigen vervoer is het een slechte locatie en er is niks te doen of lastig om even ergens te eten. Eten kan namelijk niet makkelijk bij het verblijf, dit moet je ver van te voren aangeven en dan is het nog de vraag of ze de producten wel hebben. Waterkraan was kapot en heeft hij gerepareerd, de douchdeur bleef kapot. Vanwege al die dingen kreeg ik 10% korting, en het is een aardige vent dus dat scheelde weer.

Der Host war echt mega nett und hilfsbereit. Der Raum an sich war in ordnung, es war schon sehr feucht und die Betten sehr hart. Als Low Budget Packbacker kann man aber echt nichts sagen, da AC vorhanden war. An sich war das Ambiente echt cool so direkt im Grünen, aber auch direkt an der Hauptstraße. Das hat natürlich den Vorteil, dass man gut mit Auto und co abgebunden ist. Dennoch zu Fuß ist es nicht so einfach da keine Fußwege vorhanden sind und am Straßenrand bei recht starkem Verkehr ...

The host was great and communicative, especially when I was changing our dates. We stayed in a private room and it had everything that you needed, the property is surrounded by greenery and has a locked gate at night! Not much of a hostel vibe (this lowered the rating, but was something we actually preferred as it was nice to go to nearby ones for dinner and then come back to calm/quiet!). We also booked an elephant safari through Green House and the guide was amazing with great spotting!

Väldigt lummigt och trevligt hostel. Trevlig och väldigt hjälpsam värd. Otroligt god mat, sri lankan frukost är ett hett tips om ni är här. Bra och rymliga rum till ehh väldigt bra pris. Ligger en liten bit utanför Sigryia men finns ett busstopp bara 5 minuters gång som går direkt till staden. Rekommenderar

Room was huge and the bed was so comfortable! Very clean room and bathroom, super fast WiFi. Host was friendly and helpful with any of our requests :) Very quiet so nice if you want a good sleep in, about an 8 min tuktuk away from Main Street in Sigiriya.

We stayed in a private double room and loved it! Everything was super clean, the place is beautifully surrounded by greenery, and the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Perfect spot to relax and explore Sigiriya!

+ Loved everything about this place. It's in a secluded, quiet, leafy property. The room was very large and everything worked as it's supposed to. Hot showers, universal power points, good/fast wifi. The staff were really nice and accommodating. You can see the level of care they have for their guests and the property. Probably one of my favourite stays and such amazing value for money.

We had a great stay here. The rooms were clean, spacious and comforable. Very calming atmosphere surrounded by the trees.

If you want to visit Dambulla and Sigiriya in one day, this stay is perfect. It is located near a bus stop and you are able to reach both cities within 20 minutes. The Green house resort is not only very affordable but also extremely clean and has a calm atmosphere. Would strongly recommand!

Green House es un sitio bonito para estar y disfrutar de la naturaleza. Los anfitriones fueron muy amables y nos ayudaron con cualquier duda!

Wonderful place, gorgeous garden and comfy room. And its very near to Lion Rock and Pidurangala. The best host one can ask for, going above and beyond - from helping to sort out my transportation to other assistance like how changing money, and he also gives fantastic travel advice. Truly feels like home. Highly highly recommended... makes my visit there so memorable.

It was a really nice stay! The rooms are big and the resort is surrounded by nature. The owner was also really nice and super helpful with our broken tuktuk. Would definitely recommend. :)

Great stay in this hostel had our own room, nice cleans shower and bathroom. Hostel owner incredibly hospitable and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Personnel très sympathique, aux petits soins et disponible. Endroit propre. Un peu bruyant à cause de la route à proximité mais environnement agréable.

We had a lovely stay for 5 nights. The property is surrounded by trees making it very relaxing and tranquil. The host was helpful and attentive. He made us food and booked the safari for us. Overall would highly recommend!

This stay was a bliss! The hostel is so relaxing located in the middle of the trees with lots of little spots to chill in.💖 The location is little outside of the city but you can catch a direct bus to Dambulla or Kandy and it’s just a 15 mins ride to the Rocks. The hosts are very sweet, helped me with everything (even drove me to the Rock) and prepared amazing home cooked meals. Absolutely recommend!

Very nice, well-kept place that we will remember in Sigiriya.The beautiful location in the middle of the trees - it seemed very idyllic, you were a bit away from the hustle and bustle, even though the main street of the village was only a few minutes walk away. The extremely helpful and spontaneous hotel owner, who always worked hard and always stood by you with advice and action.
