Lazy Gaga Hostel

Roach infested kitchen and I arrived to my room with dirty sheets and pillows. Had to ask the cleaners to change them out. Not very friendly staff.

j'y ai été pour une escale de 30h à Guanghzou, la chambre n'était pas propre du tout, j'ai vu des insectes sautiller sur mon lit et suis donc parti pour prendre un hôtel! de plus les salles de bain sont en mauvais état et n'ont même pas de savon pour les mains

nobody at the reception speak english, they use all the time the translation which is so difficult for avoid misunderstandings. whenever you ask something because you didn’t get what they were trying to explain they start to talk with you in a rude way. i wouldn’t recommend it.

No hot water, dirty last floor to wash clothes with two broken washing machines requiring to download an app. Wifi very weak, complicated when you are obliged to download an app to start the washing machine. Don't ask a question to the guy from the desk, he will faint not to understand and then give you a stupid answer. Hotels in the neighbourhood are at the same price (closer to Beijinglu). The walls between the rooms are very thin, don't forget to ask for earplugs. Clean room but dirty lobby

Oh how terrible it has become. Not my first time to this hostel. The lobby has added a restaurant so slightly messy. Biggest complain I got - 1. bitten by bugs, 2. the USB charging ports don't work, 3. rooms smell, overall lacks cleanliness and maintenance. Told the staff but no f* given. Skin still itchy!!! Would not recommend it or stay here again.

Boy staff so rude, I arrived hostel in the morning, staff ask me to put the luggage in store room and leave immediately, because check in time is 2pm. I requested to use wifi but was not allowed. Uncivilized staff... please consider wisely when you book this hostel

Not a good place to stay, even for the cheap price, very dirty toilets and rooms, bedding mattress are very old and in bad condition, place looks ok from outside, but is definitely not inside, many broken thing. It is a place some ppl are using as home long term. Avoid if possible 😞

First of all, this is not a hostel.Dormitory very messy very dirty showers and very rundown place and facilities are very limited. Avoid this place. There is better options with same prices.. at least the staff helped me alot and they give me the money back.

Not really good

Overall my experience was good staying at this hostel.But you get a bad smell at the kitchen area..It was so bad that i couldnt stand there for a 1 min also.

The Lazy Gaga is right in the heart of the Yuexia district, a short to medium walk away from all sorts of historical and commercial attractions. The food scene is awesome with probably 1000 shops with a two block radius of the hostel. The hostel also has it's own restaurant. The vibe was good when I was there, but with the right mix of people I know it could be great. They have an excellent music playlist for the common area and the hostel dog is a fun little chonker. This is not a fancy hoste...

Now day by days property going down, no maintainece. Need renovation. all items out of order and broken. #1 For security entrance auto card gate no working. #2 Snooker cloth teared. Hand football game handles broken and jam, Kitchen no microwave only 1 electric stove. no electric kettle, spoon, bowls. Kitchen cockroaches room also cockroaches. that's a reason now less guest. please improve your service as before

The owner of the hostel was very help full and spoke English. The restaurant inside the hostel had some good food. However a BIG amount of old (non Chinese) men were staying in the hostel which made me feel uneasy. No social vibe for me at all. There were people permantly living in my room, but they were nice. When I left early in the morning to catch my train, the whole Floor was scattered with trash. It seemed like there had been a big party and it wasnt cleaned in the morning

War sehr schön mit dem warmen bequem nur es wurde überall massiv geraucht bis auf in den Schlafzimmern, was aber nichts ausmacht, weil der Rauch kam trotzdem rein war bisschen schade alle Klamotten stinken direkt! Super sozial

It’s an ok place, not bad for the location in Guangzhou. I did find a roach in my room which was a little unpleasant

Had a great stay , well located in centre of city , near Ximenkou metro station , good restaurants and cheap shopping places nearby , mosque and halal food available nearby , Bank of China nearby for money exchange and shops close by help transfer money to your we chat wallet which otherwise is difficult , good atmosphere, clean , easy check in , good staff , good value for money because of which some regular visitors stay there and can guide about anything to find in the city on interaction

Hostel is pretty well located, with food & markets nearby.The no curfew area is also great,as there's always people there talking and meeting, and you could late checkin (which happened to me due to delayed flight).The cleanliness is so-so and definitely could improve. Beds were decent comfy (thin mattresses as in china),with curtain & outlets, so all you need.The vibe was more of older people, mainly from Asia.Some of the staff was helpful, some not so much.

L'emplacement est très bien et c'est assez calme. Le personnel est très gentil et est toujours là pour aider.

Das Hostel Lazy Gaga hat freundliches Personal und internationale Gäste. Ich hatte Glück und war allein im 4-Bett-Zimmer. Die Matratze war allerdings extrem dünn, das Bad marode und roch unangenehm. Es war nicht besonders sauber, und in der Lobby wurde geraucht. Ein Bett blieb zwei Tage unbezogen. Abends wirkte der Eingangsbereich dunkel und unangenehm. Für eine kurze Zeit okay, aber nicht wirklich gemütlich.

The hostel is nice enough. It’s close to the metro and secure. Many of the people staying seem to live there, which is kind of strange but they’re all really nice. The check in process was a bit bizarre. There was an issue finding my reservation, which I’m assuming has to do with the differences in Chinas internet. But who knows? There’s definitely a language barrier with the staff, but they did their best to help.

明明預訂了 3 床的房間，同時也3位朋友一同入住。早上7 至 8 點期間，不停有不認識的人進入房間。感覺蠻差。

It’s nice for a short stay. Cozy dorm and comfortable beds. A bit rowdy in the common space and not sure if people were staying at the hostel or just using the computer spaces. After 10pm no one cares if you smoke inside so the floor was covered in cigarette buds. It would have been nice if there were always toilet paper in the bathroom. Communication was a little bit difficult if you don’t speak Chinese. Great restaurant at the hostel! Good fun at the pool table.
