Very good hospitality, very much enjoyed it

Such a great place to stay in Lilongwe. Booker and his family are incredibly kind and hospitable - they'll ensure that you're well looked after!!

I stayed with Booker for a night, before heading to Zambia after 4 weeks traveling in Malawi. It was great staying with a local family, it gives you new insides into the culture and way of living in Malawi. Booker is a very interesting host, it was really great chatting with him!

Had an amazing stay at Booker. Everyone in the host family is so kind, warm and helpful. The breakfast included in the price was also very tasty. The room was more than I could wish for and had a really good nights sleep. Walked around in the local market and getting to know Booker during the day after before heading to my bus up north. One of my best experiences through my almost 60 properties booked on Hostelworld so far, will be back again before leaving to home

Booker and Simon went above and beyond for my homestay here. They were waiting at the airport when I landed, and it was just a great time from the moment they picked me up. Knowledgeable about their country, and proud of their stay. I would highly recommend, Cheers

I had such a wonderful time at the hostel. He and his brothers gave me such a warm welcome, and we had a great time together. We played card games, had dinner together. It truly felt like being part of a family. It couldn’t have been better. If I ever go back to Lilongwe, I’ll definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this place!

Most amazing place to stay! Booker and his whole family are the most lovely, kind, welcoming and helpful family I have ever met. We felt like we were apart of their family from the moment we walked through the door. The house was lovely and the facilities were what you could expect, the thing that makes this place so special was the family. We had a family movie night and ate every meal with them, helped with our washing and with literally everything we asked for. Would recommend to anyone!

Staying here was like coming home. Booker was not at home but his whole family was and took me in like a long lost sister. I would recommend this place to anyone. It was a true pleasure staying here. Thank you for everything!!

Un endroit calme près de Lilongwe. Le logement est simple, un très bon rapport qualité prix. On est accueillit par le propriétaire « Booker » qui nous reçoit dans sa maison pour apprendre à cuisiner local. Les chambres sont indépendantes de la maison, dans la cours. Chambre sommaire mais spacieuse. Eau chaude. Le village est calme et agréable pour s’y balader.

Booker is simply the best. This is my second time staying with him in Lilongwe. If you’re looking for a nice family home, and a charismatic local host, then this is the place for you.

You will be well looked after here, Booker will look after your travel needs and offer local advice. Good filling breakfast to start the day. Quiet neighborhood away from the busy roads so chill out and chat in the hammocks
