Especially as a female solo traveler: DO NOT GO THERE! A 2.0 is even too much! The hostel itself is nicely equipped, but that’s where it stops. Manuel was a very nice host. He can give great advice and recommendations what to do around puebla. The Hostel is located next to a pretty loud street though and the beds were pretty old and not so comfortable anymore. Also the hostelword page is outdated, there werent any activities really. So very nice hosts but also room to improve.

Overall disappointing. The level of service changed when I was asked by the staff to use MY debit card (bank card) to send money to a foreign country. They didn’t thank me or wish me well on my journey. I also do not recommend this hostel as it’s located on a very busy road that is quite loud.

This is a family-run hostel, owners were helpful & flexible. The place itself was fine. There’s one shower, so I had to wait a bit to shower which was fine. The owner said laundry was low-cost when it actually wasn’t. What really disappointed me was finding hateful, misinformed posts about Palestine & Muslims on the hostel’s official Instagram page. It’s concerning to see that from a hospitality business & made me wonder if I’d have been treated the same if I were from a different back...

Manuel is a great host. He responded so quickly to me via email before I arrived, and he was helpful during my stay as well. The place is also very clean. Unfortunately, the hostel is right on a busy road, so if your room faces the street, you'll hear a lot of road noise.

nice Hostel, tho there were no other travellers during our stay, maybe due to the off-season. Unfortunately, we got mugged during our stay in Puebla, but the Hostel staff was really helpful.

Good place! Super kind staff. As a solo female I just thought the walk to the hostel was a bit dark and solitary at night but it’s not far from city center at all

Lovely small family run hostel. Was even fed dinner one of the nights along with a few others, they were very generous hosts. Clean and comfortable. It would be great to have a bit more information readily available around tours and sightseeing.

Manuel was a very friendly host! He welcomed us earlier than check in time which was great. Facilities are pretty basic but everything you need is there. If you're a light sleeper take/use earplugs as it's located on a mainroad (but i think this is mentionned). Great location: about 10min walk from the Zocalo, 10/15min walk from the bus stop to Cholula and 2min walk to the bus stop to the main bus terminal. Thanks for the infos! (tip: a little trashcan in the room would be useful)

We only had one night in Puebla, but had a great stay at Rhodas, staff were really welcoming, great location to explore Puebla and lots of good local recommendations.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hostal Rhodas! Perfect location, friendly staff, and great facilities. I would highly recommend visiting Puebla and staying at this hostel.

Nous avons séjourné 5 jours à cet hôtel ( qui ressemble plus à une pension de famille ) et avons reçu un accueil quasi familial de Manuel et de sa maman.. L’endroit est bien tenu, très propre, la cuisine extrêmement bien équipée,, ambiance à l’ancienne et le centre ville est à 10/15 mn à pied. On regrettera seulement qu’il n’y pas un espace extérieur un peu aménagé !

Der Aufenthalt bei Manuel und Alba war großartig! Die beiden haben uns mit ihrer warmherzigen Art willkommen geheißen und wir haben uns auf Anhieb wohlgefühlt. Die beiden haben mit dem Hostal Rhodas einen Ort geschaffen, an dem man sich fühlt als sei man zu Besuch bei Familie. Alles ist super sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Unser Highlight, neben den netten Begegnungen, war die Dachterrasse!

I had an absolute wonderful stay with here! The hostel is clean, well located and the kitchen fully equipped but, what made my stay wonderful was the definitely the host and his mom! We had two family meals when I stayed there. I loved that!! At that time there were not too many people in the hostel, but Manuel was very helpful in bringing everyone together and aligning our schedules so we ended up doing the hike and trips together. That was so thoughtful!! I would recommend this hostel!

I had a fantastic stay here. This was the perfect hostel to match the vibe of Puebla, friendly and social but not a party hostel. It was quiet and quaint and full of character. Manuel and his mom were incredibly kind and accommodating, I spent a decent amount of time hanging with them. My dorm was comfortable and the other guests were great. I’ll for sure stay there next time I’m in Puebla.

Manuel was super accommodating and kind. The hostel is lovely and has a cool lounge area upstairs with lots of books. There is super hot water in the shower, lots of color and comfortable rooms. The walls are thin and it's in a city, so bring your earplugs if you are sensitive to noise. Would definitely stay here again!

Great family-run hostel only a 10 minute walk from the central square in town. Quiet, relaxed, clean, comfortable. Excellent kitchen for cooking everything. You share the kitchen and dining room with the family. Thanks for having me!

I've had a great stay, Manuel was always very helpful and friendly. It's a nice place if you want to have some quiet time and still be close to the city center.

This is a little niche hostel that you appreciate when you come here. Manuel and his mother were very kind and helped me with whatever I needed. It’s a cute little family ran hostel and I would stay again if I ever in town

I was happy i picked rhodas for my stay. me and my travelbuddy kept prolonging for many days and we did a lot of mountain hiking around (malinche, itza, orizaba). manual isna super nice guy and his mother invited us for food twielce during our stay. she is an awesome cook! location is perfect, just a short walk from the market and the zocalo. when we were there it was pretty quite, but i think it was still offseason and puebla isn't that touristic anyway. still other people were dropping in
