I wish I had stayed somewhere else, luckily I stayed only one night. I could not sleep, bed bugs were biting all night. Very unpleasant place, when I told the receptionist about the bedbugs, he just said no one had complained before about this, nevertheless, there are like 3 comments about bedbugs before mine. Please take some responsibility

Location is good, and the guys running the place are nice. It could be a really awesome hostel if the just spruced up the place and got rid of the bed bugs! Be weary there is 100% bed bugs

Bed bugs, dirt, fungus. It s near by the City Center- that s all. Actually the decoration and tiles and the patio are very nice, but no one takes really care of the place. We had a private room and the toilet had urine on the lid, the ground was sticky and we the kitchen was so incredibly dirty and sticky that we pre-cleaned before we used any tools. Absolutely not worth it! Spend a little more money and you will find a better place. Maybe the owner starts to take care - I think it has potential

Strange people Everywhere. Looks like a homeless shelter. Woke Up with bites all over my body. Bed bugs or fleas? No sécurity at all. The place was Very dirty and in poor condition. IT has so much potential. Its a shame

Pretty nasty, inside made up bed was dirty looked like maybe bed bug eggs/shells full of it. Decided to sleep on top - only stayed here as a last minute otherwise would never recommend staying here. Loud and dirty ...

Hostel The White Butterfly ligt in een zeer centrale locatie in Lagos, dicht bij het nachtleven en het stadscentrum. Het personeel kan vriendelijk zijn, er kunnen handdoeken bij zijn, de douche kan een redelijke druk hebben en de slaapzalen kunnen een eigen badkamer hebben. De deuren van de slaapzalen zijn vaak niet op slot en de beveiliging kan zwak voelen. De straat buiten kan tot laat in de nacht luidruchtig blijven, vooral voor kamers met uitzicht op het feestgebied. De schoonheid is het grootste probleem. Schimmel, schimmige geuren, vuile badkamers, vuile keukens, ongewassen beddengoed, kleverige vloeren en bedwantsen zijn terugkerende problemen. Het gebouw heeft een zekere charme, met oudere tegels, terrasgebieden en vintage details, maar het lijkt erg verwaarloosd. Dit is een ruwe budgetstop, geen ontspannen sociale hostel. Het kan alleen zinvol zijn voor iemand die een centraal bed nodig heeft voor één nacht en ruis, slechte onderhoud en weinig comfort kan aan.

- De deuren van de slaapzaal zijn mogelijk niet op slot en de kluisjes zijn mogelijk beperkt of niet volledig beveiligd.
- Bedwantsen, schimmel, vuile badkamers en vuile beddengoed zijn hier een ernstig risico.
- Het geluid op straat kan 's avonds laat erg zijn omdat het hostel in een nachtlevengebied ligt.
- Bij aankomst kan alleen contant worden betaald.
- Alleen wonende vrouwen vinden de sfeer misschien ongemakkelijk, vooral in gedeelde kamers.
