+ The kitchen had everything to cook
- The owner of the place was rude, invasive, controlling, he always wanted to know what the guests were doing, on two occasions he made racist comments like: "fucking South Americans" because a group of guests supposedly left the place more messy than usual. I do not recommend staying at this place.
+ It's a beautiful place, owner Alana was very helpful, facilities were good. Lots of wildlife around which the kids enjoyed
- Wish we knew what the roads were like before we booked. We were in an RV (motorhome) and the the roads in and out were very scary! Also felt it was overpriced for an unpowered site.
+ NATURE BASED LOCATION
- CAMPING AREA WAS SMALL AND GRASSED AREA WAS NOT GREAT, UNLEVEL AND PATCHY.
+ Nice spot away from everything, quiet with everything you need, toilets, showers, washers and dryers
+ Very remote setting in nature on the top of a mountain with lots of bush and wildlife. Great if you want to get away from the city and chill, as there is no TV and limited Wi-Fi. The host Amanda was very nice and friendly making sure we had what we needed and showcasing the wildlife by feeding them. There is a 2klm walk up the mountain and around the grouds.
- Thin plywood walls with no insulation, meant putting on the heaters and lots of warm clothing in a Tassie summer. It would have been nice to have a wood fire or pot belly for warmth. Very high up the mountain with 4klm of dirt road with a very steep drive to the property.
+ Nature ++++
- Un peu froid
+ Amazing location, views and property owners/hosts
- Cabin needs better heating. It takes some time for the small wall heater to warm the cabin.
+ Tolle Aussicht vom Dorm, gemütliche Küche, sehr nette Besitzer
- Es war sehr kalt im Zimmer (zu kleine Heizung, die durch eine Holzwand vom Schlafbereich getrennt war).
+ The location and the people
- Nothing springs to mind
+ Having wallabies casually grazing outside my tent in the morning, Composting toilets regularly serviced. Some flexibility exercised re. campsite allocation even though peak season. Kitchen had everything I needed. Echidnas everywhere and kookaburras greetings punctuate the quiet.
- Some other campers arriving at all hours were sleep-disrupting, could be more effort in discouraging this.

+ We had a very pleasant stay and truly enjoyed the unique atmosphere of the place. Lana was especially warm, welcoming and helpful which made the experience even more memorable for us. Steve was polite and professional as well, though a little more reserved in his style. This was already our second visit which reflects how much we appreciate the overall experience.
- One small suggestion that could make future stays even more comfortable particularly during colder nights,m would be to consider ways of keeping the camping area floor a bit warmer since wood fire is not allowed. Aside from that, everything else contributed to another enjoyable and memorable stay.

+ Staff greeted us as we drove in to give us a good briefing about the facilities and area. Shared areas were clean and had a good chat with the other guests. Saw some wallabies! Would recommend. Extra fantastic for the eco conscious of us 😁
- Bit of a windy dirt road and steep at points to get there. We were fine in our car but probably wouldn't want to take a big campervan/trailer up without a having really good experience with it
+ The facilities and location are fantastic.
+ It showed much care and consideration for guest needs in all the appointments. Clean, generous, comfortable, friendly and welcoming it was an ideal peaceful and pleasant environment with natural surroundings and native animals.
- I shouldn’t have liked to find a vehicle coming in the opposite direction on the narrow road in.

+ Quiet. Good to see small family operator rather than big conglomerate!
- Good road but choose the dry season or it would be slippery
+ A very beautiful place with large territory and wildlife wandering around from dusk to dawn. The host is friendly and the facility is well maintained.
+ Lovely cosy cabin with everything you need inside or nearby. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. You’re only 45mins from Mount Field National Park and 20mins to New Norfolk but it feels like you’re in remote bush surrounded by nature.
- In very cold weather (less than 5° overnight) you needed to have both heaters on at maximum to maintain about 18°c inside. Keeping the bathroom door closed helped but this meant it became very cold in there,
+ Tucked away in the hills, owners were friendly and facilities were good and clean. Lots over wildlife to see and a perfect place to relax.
- Wifi was a bit flakey and no mobile reception. Not really a negative, but something to consider if you need it.
+ Amazing views super cool layout to the campground really well built
- It’s a bit of a drive out to the end of the valley, but I actually didn’t mind
+ Quiet, natural bush setting, friendly staff
+ Great hosts, amazing property
- Hard to pick on anything really
