Lhotse Hostel B&B

Booked 3 weeks in advance and paid deposit. They emailed me the night before due to check in with no reason or apology that the room was now not available. Yet to receive a response or refund for deposit.

ANIMAL CRUELTY!!! They have a dog they keep upstairs, outside on the roof who is never walked and when I went to check on him he didn’t have food, water and there was poop everywhere. Although he has a small shelter upstairs, he is still left up there in the rain and cold. He is never given any love and attention by the owners, the guests we’re giving him pets and attention. Please if you see this dog, give him food, attention, and talk to the owners about this!! Let’s try to change his li...

I liked the place but the bad review is because you can’t really sleep in the morning because they start cleaning the rooms really early. Woke up by a cleaner coming in making noise at 8:30 which I thought was quite bad. Also they say that there’s a 24h reception but when I came back a bit after midnight there was no one there and the door was locked. Had to ring the bell until someone woke up and came to let me in.

Hostel is nice and close to the city center. Area is calm but you can still hear any noise from outside. Make sur to speak with the owner before your arrival, there isnt always someone at the reception

We stayed for a week in a private room. The room was super nice, clean, cozy and very light with nice view over the mountains. The rooms have a smart TV which was nice. The rooftop has a ninice view and a well equipped kitchen. The breakfast is basic but filling. Tours booked with the hostel were nice. Not the most social atmosphere, mostly couples staying but therefore quiet, also at night. Would recommend staying here.

I was given a free upgrade due to the 8 person dorm being full as something went wrong with the booking however sometimes it does take awhile to be let back into the hostel

L’auberge est très propre et la famille qui la possède est très sympathique et toujours prête à nous assister. Le petit déjeuner compris est de base, mais satisfaisant. L’endroit est bien localisé, entre 5 et 15 min de marche de tout. Les installations de la cuisine sont suffisants et de qualité. The room I got was different from the pictures and had no windows. the staff was very kind and checked me in early. I was on the 3rd floor but the shower was on the 5th. the space on the roof where breakfast is served is very relaxing and a good spot to sit and read.

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel, clean rooms and nice breakfast with a great view. Staff are lovely. Close to main area. only issue is the wifi cuts in and out.

One of the best hostels in Huaraz! The cleanest hostel ive stayed in here and the staff are so lovely. Hot showers and just so clean everywhere. Amazing view from the the rooftop and the best banana omlettes made for you for breakfast. They offer all the hiking tours too, 10/10 hostel! Thank you🥰

Lhotse es una muy buena opción en Huaraz: cumple en todo. Tiene dormitorios compartidos y privados, ambos cómodos. El servicio es bueno y el staff ayuda bastante. Además, ofrecen tours, lo que lo hace muy práctico para organizar tus actividades.

Clean room with hot water at 24/7. The kitchen area is spacious and well-equipped. The location is great (5 mins walk to the supermarket and 15 mins to the town center)

I really enjoyed my stay at Lhotse. The rooms was great, the hostel is close to town and the staff are really nice and also helpful. I have no points of improvement. The view from the terrace is amazing.

We loved our stay in Lhoste Hostel B&B, I can give no points of improvement. The staff were incredible and very accommodating, especially when helping book day trips at a great price! Has been one of our favourite hostels we have stayed in!

Stayed for 4 nights during my time in huaraz, perfect place to rest after hikes, not much atmosphere and thin walls, but great rooftop patio, staff, and nice clean rooms, would stay here again for the price.

everything was great the staff were lovely and accommodating. the price was excellent and the common area was comfortable. The best beds I've had in a dorm!

Very quiet when I stayed, so great if you need a peaceful place to rest, at exceptional value. I didn't use the facilities, but they have a rooftop, kitchen and an area to relax. Showers were hot with good pressure! Helpful owner who will give you a good deal on treks (cheapest prices I found). I did Mateo through them and it was well organised.

Great, clean and comfortable hostel located a 5-10min walk from the city center of Huaraz. The room had everything it needed and I especially liked the nice evening lamp offering a cozy light. The host was very helpful and knowledgeable about hikes to do in the area. Additionally, my bed was made every day and the bin was emptied every day, very practical! The terrace on the highest floor is great for relaxing and offers a beautiful view on the city. All in all, great value for money!

Great value private room in Huaraz. Hostel has a great kitchen you can use and a large common area to hang out in. The staff can help you organise all tours you want to do in Huaraz for a good price - no need to visit a separate travel agency. Also includes a free breakfast.

Zoals in eerder commentaar genoemd is, kunnen de kamers wat gehorig zijn. Echter zal het daar niet in verschillen met andere hostels in de omgeving. Bij dit hostel krijg je echt waar voor je geld. Heerlijk uitrusten in een privé kamer met eigen douche en wc. En ook nog eens een goed ontbijt! Super!

Todo estaba muy limpio siempre, tiene una terraza con un vista muy bonita, el dormitorio compartido era muy tranquilo, limpio y dan toalla. Lo único que no me gustó es que el alojamiento incluye desayuno pero como uno está en tours casi todos los días los tours salen antes de que te sirvan el desayuno, entonces al final nunca lo tomas, deberían dar la opción de darlo para llevar o al menos dar la fruta que sirve para los tours

My stay was comfortable, and the family who runs the hostel is very kind. They were able to help provide me with an extra blanket and pillow, and they sold drinking water at the front desk. The kitchen has everything you need and is kept clean, and the rooftop view is beautiful. The only downside was that on Saturday it was rather loud at night, with everyone in the hallway audible in the room because of the hall-facing windows. Other nights it was calm and quiet, however.

Spent ten days at lhotse. Great single room for the money. Has good local info on hikes and climbs. Highly recommend
