El Callejon Guest House

- Me cancelaron la reserva un día antes de mi viaje por una excusa absurda

+ Die Lage des Gästehauses ist gut. Sehr zentral.

- Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt leider gar nicht. Wir hatten uns ein privates Zimmer mit eigenem Bad gegönnt, haben aber leider in der einen Nacht gar kein Auge zugemacht. Das Bett war unfassbar hart. Das haben wir in vielen Jahren Reisen noch nicht erlebt. Als würde man gleich auf dem Fliesenboden schlafen. Das kann man so wirklich nicht vermieten. Das Zimmer hat zudem zwar eine Klimaanlage, diese zu benutzen hätte aber 8 Dollar (!) extra gekostet.

+ The hosts of this place were so nice and helpful!! The kitchen was equipped with everything you need and it had a nice living room

- The bed wasn’t comfortable because I kept on sliding down in the one side. Furthermore we found a mouse shit in the room…

+ Clean guest house - very close to the city center / perfect to discover Leon. Free dispenser of cold or hot water (for coffee or to refill our bottles). We could use the kitchen (very well equiped) and fridge of the host family to cook.

- We had to use the fan all the time because turned out to be way too hot (room is turned towards the inside of the house). The sign with 8$ per day on the A/C was laughing in our face. Somehow cold welcome or introduction, we had to ask everything proactively (kitchen/events/etc). Not very practical shared bathroom system (door for the second accomodation has to be locked / unlocked every time).

+ Property owners friendly and helpful.

- No tv in room or place to sit unless it is downstairs with owners

+ Hotellet med tre rum, drivs av ett väldigt trevligt och omtänksamt par i deras privata hem. Bra läge, bara några minuter från centrum. Är dock något ställe i närheten som spelar hög musik på kvällarna. Boendet tillhandahåller gratis vatten, kaffe och te.

- Det privata badrummet på rummet delades med grannrummet med varsin ingång. Det fungerade väl men var lite udda. Internet var väldigt svagt särskilt vissa tider som kvällstid.

+ The owners were very friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned everyday. I appreciated the free cold and hot drinking water. Their laundry service worked well. The location is quite close to the central plaza.

- The room was extremely hot and AC costs 8 dollars extra per night. So I had to sleep with open windows and a fan, however the windows were pointed to the hallway so that everybody could see into my room. There was no hot water in the shower, but it is way too hot in Leon anyway so that did not bother me.

+ The property is in an amazing location, many restaurants and centre square very short walk. The owners were helpful, recommending tours and things to do and see. The breakfasts were great and coffee amazing.

- Que tuve que pagar efectivo cuando decía que aceptaban todas las tarjetas y tuve que pagar el acondicionador de aire aparte cuando decía que todas las habitaciones contaban con acondicionador de aire no menciono ventilador.

+ Location was perfect. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The family who run the place were so friendly and helpful, they made us feel at home.

+ Great location, very clean, lovely caretakers. This place is easy and uncomfortable. My room had optional air conditioning for an additional eight dollars, I was quite comfortable just with a fan. This place is lovely and quiet, if you’re looking to party in your room, this is probably not for you. additional conveniences include free, unlimited, cold bottled water to drink, washing machine/ clothes dryer available at a reasonable price.

+ Die Gastgeber waren extrem hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ich habe mich super wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist ideal mitten im Zentrum.

+ Die Gastgeber sind wirklich megafreundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war blitzsauber. Die Lage ruhig und mitten im Zentrum. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

+ El cuarto era casi ideal. Baño privado y amplio. La cama era de alta calidad y fue cómodo. Aún provedieron jabón.

- La única cosa que no me sirvió es que falta soportes para asistir a levantar. Y el Internet casi no funciona.

+ Lovely home from home in the city centre hosted by a kind and friendly couple. They accommodated my specific requests and were genuinely helpful in all regards. Lovely ensuite room. Self serve Tea and coffee and water available.

- The address provided with the booking wasn’t accurate according to my taxi driver so this lead to some confusion. It’s not right at the Teatro.

+ Exceptionally friendly and welcoming hosts that made us feel right at home. Good location, at walking distance from all main areas in the center. Rooms are simple but super clean and good value for the price. Would totally go again if I return to Leon.
