Erratic Rock

+ Location was very close to the bus station + a short walk into town. The owner was nice - Edit: I take this back, he sent me an angry whatsapp after I left this review. As a business owner you have to be able to take feedback and fix issues for your customers - not complain the issues were called out.

- There was mould in the wallpaper and ceiling of the bedroom. Black mould around the bathroom (shower + sink). The bedding was clearly unwashed (dirty + smelt) - we slept in sleeping bag liners and covered the pillows in clothes. We arrived very late and had no other options but to stay for the night. When the shower upstairs was turned on, you could hear the water falling on something metal as if you were in the bathroom with them. This was the downstairs bedroom. Reviews seem to be really good for this place, so perhaps the other bedrooms are OK? If so, they need to fix up that downstairs room immediately. Being a hostel is not an excuse for mould or unwashed bedding. I've stayed in 60+ hostels during my travels and never experienced this.

- La casa es un poco viejo y los pisos suenan y crujen cada vez que alguien camina, entonces resulta difícil descansar cuando hay gente caminando por la casa. Los camarotes se balancean mucho.

+ Staff were very friendly and helpful and the place was conveniently located. The rooms were comfortable and served their needs.

- The booking said "Exceptional Breakfast Included" Unfortunately, that was far from accurate. Basically, there was a loaf of bread, with various spreads. That's it. No juice, no eggs, no cheese, no meat, no cereal, no milk or any of the other things you would associate with even a basic free breakfast, much less an exceptional breakfast. Since we were heading off for long bus rides to start long treks, I booked this accommodation specifically because of the advertised "exceptional" breakfast. That was disappointing and should be changed on the listing.

+ Clean, comfortable room. Bill is very chill and if we weren’t flying out the next morning, I got the sense he would have been very helpful with good advice for exploring Torres del Paine.

+ Awesome old school feel, great host Bill and Chicana take chill to the next level. Knowledgeable about the town and the park. Very welcoming experience.

- Older building very near the bus terminal for the early bus into Lake Amarga access point to Torres del Paine NP, maybe could use a new coat of paint in places. But, it does feel cozy and home away from home… the way it is.

+ Fantastic location, owner is super warm and friendly and helpful with information, you can find out everything you need to know and get great recommendations for equipment. Basic facilities, a little bit dated, but well maintained and I felt cosy and comfy here, and at ease as a solo female traveller. Thanks Bill and Susan!

+ Great location, very homely, friendly vibe. Owner spoke English and went out of his way to engage with guests and offer advice.

+ Very friendly and inviting place, super clean and tasty breakfast with homemade bread. Bill is a spectacular host who has a lot of passion for the area with a wealth of knowledge. He was super accommodating with our W trek, gave us nice tips, and let us store a bag while we were away. Highly recommend! Thanks Bill!

- It was a great short stay, no complaints!

+ Bill, the owner, was amazing, always there to help, provide advice or recommendations. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot, all you need after a long day of exploring.

+ Breakfast is the classic tea/coffee, fresh bread, and various spreads. Beds were comfortable and the host was very helpful.

+ 可以事先詢問價格租借登山杖和其他設備(和房費一樣僅收現)，主人是經驗豐富的登山家，客廳會撥放好聽的音樂，地點便利走到超市、巴士站都在10分鐘內， chekout時間晚，健行後可以休息久一點。

+ La atención de los anfitriones

+ Bill은 친절했고 무엇이든지 도와주려고 노력했습니다. 그의 부지런하게 호스텔을 청소하고 정리합니다. 덕분에 호스텔은 늘 깨끗합니다.

+ This is an old hostel, the owner is very nice, always welcoming to give some suggestions. And this place is super clean, nice kitchen as well. When I was there I felt like home.

- Nothing complain.

+ All great: * staff very friendly and helpful, * breakfast amazingly good, * hostel is well located near by the bus station and with panaderia, restaurants just at the corner or few blocks * very clean, staff was even ordering the fridge when I was there, this is rare.

- Estaba todo bien! excepto que no pude tomar desayuno al otro día porque me fui del lugar antes.. me faltaría evaluar eso para que sea 10/10.
