Indonesia Backpacker Hostels Lombok

The staff were the best thing about the hostel, very friendly and helpful. But the condition of the accommodation leaves a lot to be desired. Everything, really everything, is eaten away by mold, the sheets have holes everywhere, which made me think bed bugs are or were a problem here. They were also not clean and there were foreign hairs and questionable stains everywhere. Also lots of dead insects in the bathroom and around the bed. It’s a big party hostel as well.

If you are a very light sleeper this probably isn’t the place for you. Plastic covered beds (with sheets over to protect from bed bugs I assume) and music and thin walls make everything noisy. Positives are it was easy to chat with people, you can rent a scooter there, and reception helped me book transportation (shuttle and boat) to my next place which made it cheap and easy.

Super kind staff! Spacious beds, very spacious locker/closet, personal shelves, separate toilet, shower & sink bathroom spaces in the dorms (no need to wait to brush your teeth when someone in the shower) bedbug free matras covers, good location (next to all the shops), no loud noises from the streets or whatsoever. Overall, great experience 🙌🏻
