Karma Hostel

+ Location is good but you need car to go to Matvili Canyon. Garden, trees and nature is good. It has small common kitchen that you can cook and store your food. Ask for 2 Gel entrance canyon swimming area. very nice area.

- We stayed in the special private deluxe room. Very poor value for money. The shared bathrooms are far from the room. In the same area. Martvili, places with Private bathrooms are 30% to 50% cheaper. Worth doing your research. Basically just a simple hostel with no extras. Food taste avarage. 6/10. WC and bathroom are in common area (very close kitchen) which is not good architectural design, hygenic. They have anemestat fans in WC but small and not enough for smell. Be ready for cold water in showers.

- We had an emergency, but we couldn't cancel our stay at the hotel, and had to pay anyway. And it was up to the hotel whether to return our money or not.

+ Great set up, tasty food, plenty of places to chill and exercise. One of the volunteers was nice to me

- The volunteers were quite clicky and didn't acknowledge me when I was waiting to book in, which made me feel like an outsider. They also outnumbered the guests and all sat together for dinner and generally didn't feel welcome.

+ Maison agréable et bien aménagée, repas et petits déjeuners végétariens exceptionnels.

- Dortoir de 20 (!) personnes inconfortable. Entrées / sorties incessantes et sol bruyant. Très difficile de dormir.

+ המקום מקסים, מושקע ומיוחד. מארחים חמודים ומסבירי פנים. עיצוב יפה ומרחב שהיה נעים. אוכל נהדר טעים ומיוחד.

- בחדר בו שהינו אין מזגן והיה חם מאוד. רוב הזמן לא יכולנו להיות בחדר כי היה חם מידי, אפילו עזבנו מוקדם ממה שתכננו כי החום היה בלתי נסבל עבורנו. הרגשנו שלא קיבלנו תמורה הולמת למחיר הגבוה ששילמנו.

+ Super mooi ingerichte plek met veel fijne zitplekjes in de tuin. Eten was erg lekker! Leuke avond gehad met interessante gesprekken. Zou het aan aanraden aan vrienden als ze een auto hebben.

- De gedeelde badkamer was een verdieping lager en helemaal aan de andere kant van het huis. Ook geen wasbakje in de kamer. De plek heeft veel vrijwilligers, allemaal super aardige mensen maar omdat het zo veel mensen waren is het ook wat overheersend en hadden we het gevoel alsof we in de weg liepen. De locatie is ver weg van echte natuur. Lopend vanuit het hostel was er niet veel te bereiken. In een dorpje boven de camping zal je dit meer hebben. Het is een omgeving waar het fijn is om een auto te hebben!

+ The atmosphere of the place is friendly, safe and peaceful, we enjoyed staying here and made some friends even though we stayed in a separate room. The food is quite tasty and vegetarian. The building itself and the surroundings are cool to explore and are authentic and charming. We also enjoyed a cozy evening with a campfire. Our room was beyond beautiful, such lovely design, I wish I lived in a room like that.

- The road between the hostel and Martvili is a nuisance, apparently it's been in repairs for ages and it causes inconvenience. The room didn't have air conditioning, so we slept with windows open (fortunately the area is quiet and luckily we didn't have mosquitos). The cost of the room (160 gel) and the meals (35 and 25 gel per person for dinner and breakfast respectively) felt overpriced, this was the most expensive stay of our trip, although it was a hostel.

+ Eines der besten Hostels, in denen ich jemals war. Alles ist modern ausgestattet und sauber und dennoch charmant und liebevoll eingerichtet. In diesem Hostel sind stets tolle Menschen, die Hostelbesitzer eine sehr nette Familie. Herausragend ist das tägliche Abendessen.

+ Vegetarian breakfast and dinner are great. Staff is incredible. We took the separate room with private shower - the facility was wonderful, quiet, friendly, positive energy - we extended our stay and we'll come back.

- Location is ok, not great, if you want to hike around. We wanted to stay at the facility, so for us it was great.

+ A place where most guests choose to extend their stay. Karma inspires a lovely sense of community with a beautiful ambiance.

+ The best hostel I ever stayed in, very easy to meet other travelers and it had very chill vibes, loved it :))

+ Just go there! Experience the friendliness, great food, and rustic charm. There is a space for yoga, great communal areas, and the beds are super comfortable. You will want to stay longer and the memories will stay with you on your journey.

+ All the staff are amazing, seriously top class. The hostel vibe is second to none. It's peaceful, joyous, social, fun, relaxing....all wound into one .everything you want in a hostel

+ So we have been staying here for only one day, but it was an amazing experience from the minute we stepped into the hostel. Emanuela the host/owner met us at the reception being super friendly and welcoming. She showed us around the hostels property and then accompanied to the room. The other staff and volunteers were amazing in prepay breakfast and dinner. It was so delicious and had so many different options, i genuinely dont remember last time i had such tasty home-cooked meal. The cleanliness in the room and in shared bathroom and toilets was impressive! So tidy and so fresh. Definitely recommend 🩷

+ The place is great overall! Lovely, very friendly atmosphere, very cosy area to chill. I came with my mom and she was also completely charmed by that hostel. Definitely recommend and would come back in the future.

- The only con was lack of the warm water in our room.
