Bedspot Hostel

The cleaning lady banged on the door and yelled for everyone to get out at 11 am for cleaning. She was very aggressive, loud, and hostile. I was sick in bed, and to be woken up like this is very stressful! She then blocked the bathroom door and wouldn’t let me use the bathroom after waking me up like this. Please change your practices! I don’t see why a room cannot be cleaned if someone is in their bed! I did not pay good money to be screamed at and to be made to leave the room in morning.

The air conditioning worked awful and ruined my stay. We were so hot, it barely worked. Then on top of that you’re in a bunk with zero airflow. Wasn’t a great place to meet people either

Staff's working hours on site were only from 9am till 5pm, even though they were on whatsapp to answer every query sometimes guests would have to help you. For example, power went off and we could not charge our phones or use any light until 9am. The location is excellent and the facilities are good but due to the operating hours many times these are not available or open, for instance kitchen cannot be accessed before 9am. The tours offered are simply amazing. Good quality-price wise.

When I got back, there were bed bugs in my suitcase in a bag where I had kept my dirty clothes. Pretty positive that they came from this hostel as after the first night I woke up with bites, but did not think much of it. Then, when I contacted the host about it, they sent me a message that had been forwarded (not sure from who) but I found that is really odd. They denied there being bed bugs, but the evidence is against them. Honestly, it looked pretty clean at first glance so Im surprised.

Christina, the receptionist is lovely! Very helpful and friendly. I was surprised to find out it was a 8 beds room, for the price I was expecting 4 beds max.

Wasn’t the best hostel I have been to. Small rooms and no space. No vibe and really small common room that no one was ever there. Bathrooms were tiny - you couldn’t change anywhere private. Location was good for this side of the island but the other side is way better.

On arrival I was told that there was only a license for 35-year-olds and under. She said I should have read the emails that were sent. I showed her my inbox and I had not received an email. Said it's on all correspondence and is clearly labeled but it's not clear otherwise I would have chosen elsewhere. Told me to find an alternative, so I did, and then she said its too late to get a refund. She said I need to contact hostel world and email her head office, I did both and still got charged E75.

It was good stay there! Location was great but definitely need to improve at the bathroom cleaning!!

Very tidy and close to Fira bus terminal; which is a massive bonus if travelling around the island as it is the main hub. Only downside was that it wasn’t the most social hostel. Everybody mostly kept to themselves. Also layout of showers/bathrooms made it difficult to get changed in privacy. Staff were very helpful

Great location, Marina was extremely welcoming and helpful. Kitchen space was useful and living areas were clean and well organized. Lockers were spacious and appreciated having a towel included. Would stay again.

Excellent comfortable hostel. Beds are great, showers are good, regular cleaning as well. Reception staff are very helpful and location is fantastic!

Great and safe location. Beds were comfy. Showers were a tad small as you couldn't really put your clothes in the shower without them getting wet, but overall it was clean and fine.

The most amazing helpful front desk lady that there is. So kind, helpful & nice can’t say enough about her. Gave great tips and advice. The actual place is probably in the best possible location in Fira. Just 1 block from everywhere you want to be & on the main road right beside a super market. The facilities are well kept & nice. Not very much plans to socialize here though so might have to use the chats or meet roomates

I was super impressed with this hostel. It is very close to the Caldera views. It was very clean with comfortable beds. They do not allow you to be in the rooms after 11am until they finish cleaning. Very easy to walk to from Fira bus station.

Fantastic hostel, facilities are amazing and always super clean. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, go above and beyond. It's very sociable in communal areas, and is great for solo travellers or couples alike. Had a 10/10 stay and highly recommend!

absolutely loved this hostel! amazing location (5 min walk into fira and 3 min walk to bus station), rooms were nice, staff were lovely and loved the peaceful vibe. little rooftop area had a great view and was good to meet people. would 100% recommend and stay here if i visited santorini again. thank you! 😊

The staff here were very friendly and helpful, place is really well located and comfortable. It was nice to relax on the rooftop and very clean and pretty. Maybe a little pricey, but definitely worth the money!

Great hostel to stay in. Accessibility close to the fira bus stop and the main square. The lady at the check-in is really helpful

Great location and enough space in the dorms. Everything is very clean and new. The owners are very friendly, they help with anything you may need during your stay.

Couldn't have asked for a better host. Everything was clean and well orgainsed!

The hostel is quite disorganized, giving us the wrong room number but the pincode still working, or someone arriving in the middle of the night thinking our room was theirs and their pincode also worked… not too secure and very chaotic. Also staff is only there 9-5. The rooms and amenities were nice though, cute little pool, perfect to cool off, nice terrace, comfy beds, frequent cleaning service. Great location: close to thira city centre and the bus stop!
