Palm Hostel

BED BUG ! We came directly to the hostel without reservation, and after a quick afternoon nap in my bed (room 30), I woke up right next to a bed bug! After looking into the bed I could find app. 3-4 bed bugs. The guy from the front desk was really nice with us, trying to found a solution to look into all our things to be sure we don't have on us and even accepted that we boil some clothes in the kitchen just to be sure! He told us that a guy from Asia was here a few weeks back and that he had bed bugs with him in the same bed, that they put mattresses to the trash and fix the room with some products but it looks like it didn't work. A few minutes later, the manager came to us and was really angry, tell us to leave with all our stuff now even if i was almost naked while boiling my clothes, and even try to put the blame on us to bring the bed bugs into the hostel (even if we had none before and no scratches too). Finally we just get out of the hostel ASAP and it was ok, but terrible experience. It's sad because the staff from the front desk was really nice to us, but not the manager...

Diese Bewertung bezieht sich auf das Hostel und nicht auf das Hotel. Es ist eine 2 in 1 Unterkunft. Wir sind als Gruppe angereist, insgesamt 16 Leute. 12 von uns in einem Zimmer. Unser erster Eindruck war zwar ernüchternd aber irgendwie sollte das mit dem Schlafen schon gehen. Doch die hygienischen Zustände werden nicht einmal den kleinsten Ansprüchen gerecht. So wurde die Bettwäsche erst gewechselt nach dem wir dort eine Nacht verbracht hatten und unsere Gruppenleitung sich mehrfach beschwert hatte. Unter Kissen fanden sich Krawatten und Prospekte, welche von vorherigen Gästen dort vergessen wurden. Es gibt außerdem eine Gemeinschaftsküche, die gelinde gesagt sehr dreckig war. Am Schlimmsten war jedoch die Vermutung, dass es Bettwanzen gibt, da diese sich mit dem Fund rotbrauner kleiner Haufen auf mehreren Matratzen zu bestätigen scheint. Das einzig Unterhaltsame an diesem Hostel sind die weiteren Google Bewertungen welche ein eindrückliches Bild vermitteln. Ebenfalls positiv hervorzuheben ist wohl der Preis, da wir als Teil einer Rundreise dort unterkamen ist es für uns nicht ganz nachvollziehbar, doch es scheint ein sehr günstiges Hostel zu sein. Es empfiehlt sich bei einem Aufenthalt in diesem Hostel ein Aufenthalt am Toten Meer um etwaige Parasiten loszuwerden oder einfach um sich besser zu fühlen.
