Beijing Xingshe Youth Hostel

It was great and very sociable. The location, in particular, is optimal. The fact that there are bed bugs in many of the beds, however, somewhat detracted from the stay.

One of the rooms had bedbugs and while that sucks enough as it is, the staff didnt seem too concerned. Apart from that it was fine

The worst bed I’ve ever ‘slept’ on. By far the most uncomfortable I’ve encountered during my 8 months of travelling and staying in hostels. Feels like you’re sleeping on a plank of wood. Baffled as to how this hostel is rated so highly. The only possibility is bots or use of sponsors to get good reviews. Heard reports of bedbugs in dorms. Also the hostel dorms do not appear as the photos - looks like they’ve used AI photos on hostelworld & booking.com. Would not recommend staying here at all.
