Haka House Wellington

We stayed at the Haka House for one night and would not recommend it to anyone. Our room was infested with bed bugs! When we reported the issue the front desk immediately accused us of bringing the bed bugs from another hostel. We were forced to wash all our clothing which is very expensive at this hostel. After cleaning our room we were offered a full refund and when we followed-up for the refund Haka House refused to provide it. The rooms are also incredibly hot. We slept on top of the sheets all night.

The yha in the capital is just an awesome Place to stay. It offers bit only free WiFi and a big kitchen but also a big tv launch area where you can just chill out on big sofas. It comes with clean toilets and showers and without any bed bugs. Additionally it is in the heart if the city close to every hotspot: Isight, te papa, harbour, Cuba street, my Victoria, all the bars and clubs. 10/10 would stay again.

Honestly seemed like a great place but I realised the day after staying that I had several bug bites down my back, I'm assuming bed bug or flea bites. Other than that, great facilities and staff - obviously however I'm going to critique the place on the fact that my back is covered in bites at the moment.
