Nice hostel for the Quilotoa Loop, liked the yoga class and dorm was okay. Receptionist was not friendly at all Vegan food options were not good
Such a gorgeous location, lovely staff & yummy food
I stayed here while doing the Quilotoa loop and absolutely loved it! There was a beautiful yoga studio with all the props you could need to have a stretch in and spa to heal the sore legs! It was quite quiet so I got upgraded to a private room and there was such a nice communal space to rest and read. Dinner, breakfast and my packed lunch for the hike were also great. Highly recommend for all travellers!!
The Llullu Llama Lodge is one of the best hostels I have ever been. It’s a very beautiful house with a very beautiful view. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And the food is very delicious too.
Everything about this hostel was perfect EXCEPT they charged me $35 to transfer my main bag to Chugchilán while I hiked in between these villages. All of my research before and after my stay suggested that it should only cost $5-10. I mention that here just so people have an appropriate understanding of upcoming costs. To be clear, EVERYHTING else was great. Beautiful location. Clean. Multiple fun amenities. great food. Extremely good value.
Highly Recommend!
great all around
Go to hostel if you are doing quilotoa loop! Great spa, good food and nice people! Everything you need to recharge after a day of hiking!
I think this place is special. Great food, great staff, great guitar and great yoga teacher! Hazels class was genuinely the best I’ve taken.

One of the best places to stay when doing the Quilotoa Loop! Everything is pretty and clean and the family-style meals are really nice.
Great place to stay, would easily return if I was to hike Quilotoa again
Amazing hostel in an amazing location. Family dinner was filling and delicious. Clean! V cool spa. Wish I could stay again.
It was an incredible stay! Really a paradise in the middle of the mountains
Really loved this place. Wish I could have stayed longer than one night but I was doing the Quilotoa multi day hike. My stay included breakfast and dinner which was delicious and I was very kindly upgraded to a private! Gio who runs the place was particularly amazing, as he was super responsive. I got stuck in the village before Isinlivi and he helped me get a cab right away. There is a spa there which is a nice touch.
Such a gorgeous location, lovely staff & yummy food
Tout était parfait !

Great place to stay!
A great hostel with very friendly staff. I would come back anytime.
Best hostel in Ecuador. Make the effort to visit, it’s a special place
Loved it here! Feels like a mountain lodge - beautiful spaces looks of games and books, dinner and breakfast was large and we even got involved in some yoga which was great fun after the hike
