The service is terrible, the receptionist and a cleaning girl are very rude. don't go. so that bad moments don't happen. no return.
The rooms are very different then what they show on the pictures. It’s very loud! It’s almost in possible to sleep. You can not wash your face properly. So think before you go here.
Not a hostel like atmosphere, the location is the only positive
The most horrible hostel that I've ever stayed in Mexico. My room is facing inside patio, while the patio is totally blocked, which technically you don't have ventilation, in addition to all the shower room is facing to the same patio, the room is like a sauna, but the hostel doesn't have any fan, it is difficult to sleep at night. As the other guest have the same problem, the whole building even the toilet will open the window, all the noise will make it worse. Stay away from this!
Honestly the worst hostel I have ever stayed in, I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here. The facilities were terrible, the rooms and bathrooms were filthy, and the atmosphere terrible. The rooms had only shutters, so we were able to here everything that went on in the hostel at night, making it very difficult to sleep. The bar on the roof was also extremely over priced and wouldn’t allow me entry when the paper wristband i was supplied with had come off. Also, the fella on the door wanted ...
Our stay was not as expected. The owner will not reply with an update or solution. The beds are very uncomfortable, bathrooms were not as clean as expected, we found roaches in the room, very loud music during the night, and no towels available when requested. Would NEVER recommend it! Even as a solo traveler trying to save money. There are private rooms on other sites that are cleaner and safer.

Terrible hostel, terrible staff, terrible breakfast. Worst beds and dorm room I have ever stayed in, the rooms were hot and dirty with no fans, no AC and the only open window was internal. No atmosphere. Cheaper to get a hotel. Stay away.

Good place for us. We had the only double room I would want in the hostel because it has windows. Main issues were that there was occasionally a bad smell in the room. We think it was drain-related and on one evening lots of noise from an event in the hostel til midnight.
Very convenient location as it's in the historic center. The amenities were nice, but the hostel's rooftop bar and design makes the place very loud especially at night as the bar continues till 2 am and windows don't properly close. I would not recommend for light sleepers or early risers.

I highly recommend this place. The rooftop bar was the most fun of all the clubs we went to during our stay. It is in a perfect location looking out onto zocalo square. Staff are nice and i felt safe.
Lo mejor que tiene el lugar es la ubicación, no tiene igual. Y una terraza hermosa junto a a la cocina con una vista increíble a la catedral y al zócalo. Nos toco una habitación que daba al interior con una ventana al interior del edificio, o sea sin luz natural y sin ventilación de aire fresco, eso no nos gustó. La ducha muy buena! El desayuno también!
The best thing about the place is the location, it has no equal. and a beautiful terrace next to the kitchen with an incredible view to the cathedral and the Zócalo. we found a room that looked out with a window to the inside of the building, i.e. no natural light and no fresh air ventilation, that we did not like. the shower very good! the breakfast too!

Unfortunately the kitchen is almost non-existent and the noise from the rooftop stops at midnight.
The location and the rooftop were 10/10,however the room is very tiny, the shower is old rusty and dirty(you can see black mold on the tiles🤢), the rooftop is open to anyone, you can hear all the music and when someone goes up or down, also you can hear the noises and talks from another rooms🙄, even worst you can hear when the guests flush the bathroom or take a shower, i think you can have a better room with the same price in other place with better conditions🤷
Très bien situé, rooftop très sympa, sécurisé. Petit déjeuner pas très varié mais sinon top pour rester quelques nuits et visiter Mexico. Personnel gentil.

As other commenters wrote, this hostel is weirdly not sociable. In general there is very little common space that feels inviting and the whole place just felt cold. I stayed 10 nights here and would have left very soon if I hadn't prepaid with the non refundable option. There was mould and the water wouldn't get hot in the shower of my room. Dealing with the staff was frustrating every single time. You will meet cool people but they always left for other options. The breakfast is nice though.
Good value hostel bag in centre. Not the best area in my opinion but depends on what you’re looking for. Very safe with 24 hour guard. Free breakfast is the best I’ve had!! Also complimentary free drink on rooftop restaurant. Sadly lacked social spaces to hag out and meet others. Kitchen good but restricted hours of access. Dorms fine but beds very shakey.

The cocktail bar on the rooftop is epic. Really good value considering free breakfast and free margarita.
Fair priced hostel in literally the center of CDMX. The rooms facing the inside of the bulding are very hot and stuffy and it is quite loud - especially on the weekends because of the dj who plays until 1 a.m in the morning.
Pros: location is good, right in the center, free breakfast Cons: hallways/public restrooms were cleaned everyday, but dorm and bathroom very dirty!! Sticky floor and strong smell of urine in restroom. mold in the shower. Bunk beds rather uncomfortable and very unstable. no social aspect of meeting new people. no real public spaces that encourage getting into contact with each other. terrace closed for no reason, rooftop bar blasting music that could even be heard 5 floors below
Plus un hôtel qu’un hostel, bien pour le rapport qualité/prix. Pas cher avec petit déjeuné inclu et positionné en plein centre historique. Le personnel est très sympathique. Par contre pas réellement d’espaces commun, cuisine quasi non fonctionnelle, assez difficile de faire des rencontres.
Plus a hotel than a hostel, good for the price/quality ratio. Cheap with breakfast included and positioned right in the historic center. The staff is very friendly. However there are no really common areas, kitchen quasi non-functional, quite difficult to make meetings.
