Dreamer Palomino

- Al realizar la reserva acá en booking aparecía que se permitían mascotas, cuando llegamos allá, nos dijeron que solo se permitían en habitaciones privadas (cosa que no aclaran por este medio), nosotros éramos 6 huéspedes y habíamos reservado habitaciones compartidas, entonces pretendían que pagáramos habitaciones privadas sabiendo que son mucho más costosas y en vez de buscarle soluciones al usuario, la respuesta inicial que nos dieron fue “pero ustedes todavía no han pagado la reserva, pueden ir a conseguir en otro lado” (lo dijo una de la parte administrativa, la recepcionista siempre fue muy resolutiva) pero esa situación claramente nos pareció una falta de respeto y más, porque éramos 6 personas y donde se iba a conseguir hospedaje a las 4 de la tarde un 7 de diciembre. En definitiva, nos hicieron pagar casi 300mil pesos de más (pagando los otros dos cupos de la habitación compartida) y aparte 100mil pesos por el perrito, cuando había sido inconveniente del hostal, no era lo justo, porque dentro de las opciones que para nosotros era más viable es que bueno, pagar un solo cupo más nosotros y ellos hacerse responsables del otro, o por lo menos, dejarnos la habitación ya que vuelvo y repito, la responsabilidad era totalmente del hostal.

- I rarely write reviews but I had such a bad experience here, I felt compelled to let other travellers know. This was by far the worst experience throughout my 2 months travel in South America. The staff were friendly but aside from this I was sorely disappointed. The restaurant food was below average and the wifi is very poor other than right by reception. The value for money is very poor and nightly rates were extortionate. The first room I was given was towards the beach end of the property and from about 8pm there was incredibly loud music from both the bar and surrounding hotels/bars. The hotel music was turned off at about midnight, but festival volume music continued to blast from surrounding properties until the early hours. I tried to ignore it with my earplugs but by 1am, when my mattress was physically vibrating from the volume, I couldn't bare it so asked to be moved to another room. They did so, and while it was better there was still very loud music from surrounding properties. The next morning, they tried to move me to another room as apparently the one they let me stay in was more expensive. At this point I decided to check out early and asked to speak to the manager or have their number to resolve it. Unsurprisingly the manager wasn't on site and they refused to give me contact details, and was told by staff that I could request a refund through Booking.com. Unfortunately, the property has since refused to refund me for the 2 nights I didn't stay there which is appalling. The only offer they made was a 50% credit for me to use at another Dreamer property - by this time I had already left Colombia and besides, as if I would want to stay in any of their properties again!! They are well aware of the noise issue but continue to take people's money. Since speaking to other travellers, they had also complained about the noise and I met several people who also checked out early because it was un-livable.

- Got scammed 500 USD. Can not recommend anyone to go there, the machine of them showed multiple times that our cards were not working. Turned out it was working and we got charged over 600 USD for a 160 USD reservation. No help from the reception - told us that was our responsibility and once we checked out they told us they gonna investigate which was a lie. Happened in the end of July - still have not refunded us. We got now ghosted by them on WhatsApp. Can not recommend anybody to stay here, other reviews also indicate the poor service of the reception regarding the payments which could be considered scamming.

- Sehr alte Zimmer, nicht sauber, laute Musik bis spät in die Nacht

- mucha mariguana por todos lados no me pude ni bañar en la piscina los extranjeros no respetan la presencia fuman en la cafetería en piscina en todos lados y no hay seguridad

+ sus instalaciones, muy bonitas, limpias e impecables.

- actividades para los huéspedes

+ Die Anlage ist mit zwei wunderschönen Pools ausgestattet. Es gab einen Billardtisch und einige Aktivitäten wurden angeboten. Derzeit entstehen neue Privatzimmer, welche sehr schön zu sein scheinen. Die Lage ist super.

- Die Privatzimmer in den „alten Gebäuden“ sind solala. Es sind zwar sehr große Zimmer, dafür aber lieblos eingerichtet mit einen unfassbar harten Bett, kleinem Badezimmer, kein warmes Wasser und keine Mückennetze (wir wurden nachts im Bett ziemlich verstochen). Das Restaurant, welches mit dabei ist, ist qualitativ eher mittelmäßig und es sind sehr kleine Portionen.

+ Los desayunos muy ricos, las zonas sociales y comunes muy agradables. Hay actividades grupales para compartir.

- El aseo en la habitación me pareció un poco deficiente.

+ La piscina y los espacios son muy agradables.

- Mejorar la limpieza de las habitaciones, más cuando el baño es compartido.

+ The main pool is amazing. I loved the facilities. Also the staff is just so kind, I brought a pet (a small French poodle) to the property and the staff were always friendly with it, I loved that! Kelly and Johana at the front desk were particularly kind to us (and the restaurant staff as well). I loved the champeta/salsa classes every night. Simply amazing. A must if you ask me.

+ Toller Vibe in Palomino! Sehr großzügige Anlage, tolle Pools und sehr schöner Empfangsbereich. Die Grünanlagen sind ein Traum. Saubere Zimmer und super nettes Personal (besonders Kelly :-)) abends vielfältiges Programm wie Karaoke oder Pubcrawl. Morgens Yoga und Pilates. Direkter Zugang zum Strand.

- Abends sehr laute Musik von den Umliegenden Bars, aber da kann das Hotel ja nichts dafür

+ L emplacement et la superficie des chambres

- À l’arrivée, la personne au check-in était peu agréable. Nos demandes ont été à peine prises en compte. De l’eau potable devait être disponible, mais le distributeur est resté vide toute la journée sans jamais être rempli ; on nous a simplement répondu qu’il n’y en avait plus. Même chose pour le coffre dans la chambre : il était fermé, et malgré l’indication de demander au personnel pour l’ouvrir, on nous a dit que ce n’était pas possible, sans explication. Nous avions constamment l’impression de déranger. La chambre n’était pas très propre à notre arrivée (notamment le sol). Le lit est très dur et la literie de qualité moyenne par rapport au prix. Les stores étaient cassés et les portes-fenêtres ne fermaient pas. Plusieurs réparations sont à prévoir, et l’ensemble manque d’entretien.
