Casa Montoco

- A guy appeared in the patio before 8am and started doing some DIY work; sawing, moving wood and tools. My bedroom faced onto the patio and had no proper window, so I could hear everything and did not sleep well as a result. Check out was at 10.

- Be careful, the room I booked was not where it’s indicated on the map and it was not safe as it could be entered by anyone in the building. The room is actually three blocks further away from the airport. My „room“ did not have a lock, so the door could be opened by anybody. Which actually didn’t matter since there was a wall missing in the room, there were just curtains as a „wall“ to the main living area shared with other guest. So I couldn’t leave my room because other people could have entered. Not to speak of the noises and lights that light up your entire room if other guest turn on the light in the main area. So I relied for my safety while sleeping (!) that other guest wouldn’t forget to lock the main door at night, otherwise everyone from the street could have walked into my „room“. I am a solo female traveler and this is not acceptable at all. I asked if she could put me in another room, but no. So leaving in the middle of the night for Managua, with two huge backpacks and as a women, I now had an even longer walk in the night. The place also doesn’t accept payment with credit cards, I didn’t have enough cash with me before leaving this country and had to pay with PayPal (which charges an extra feee). I cannot recommend for safety reasons as I did not get what I booked 0/10

- O quarto que aluguei, ficava em outro local nao indicado pela locataria. E o quarto nao era um quarto. Faltava uma parede e sem conforto algum extremamente quente

+ Las posibilidades de que te atracasen en la zona donde me dejaron. No era el alojamiento principal, que también era chungo, mme llevaron a otra casa.

- Mi experiencia en este alojamiento ha sido terrible y absolutamente insegura. Cuando llegué al lugar anunciado en Booking, la señora que lo gestiona me llevó a otra casa que no aparece en la plataforma, en otra ubicación, obligándome a caminar sola hasta allí. Ya desde ese momento sentí miedo, porque no era lo que había contratado ni lo que se mostraba en el anuncio. La casa donde me metió no tiene nada que ver con lo ofertado. Lo que encontré fue: Solo dos habitaciones muy básicas El agua no funcionaba bien El internet no funcionaba No había agua potable para rellenar la botella No había café, té, utensilios, cocina ni productos de baño Nada de lo que pone en Booking es real. Todo lo que ofrece esta señora es falso. Además, nada más llegar, intentó estafarme cambiándome dólares a Córdobas a un precio totalmente abusivo, queriendo cobrarme medio dólar más por cada Córdoba. Yo venía ya de otras estafas durante mi viaje y la situación me superó hasta el punto de que me puse a llorar. Aun así, me dijo que ese no era su problema. Solo pude cenar una bolsita de patatas y una galleta del avión, porque no tenía dinero y allí no había nada. Durante toda mi estancia sentí muchísimo miedo. El sitio era oscuro, aislado, todo se movía por la noche y no me atreví a salir ni un segundo desde que llegué hasta que fui al aeropuerto. Fue una experiencia horrible, especialmente viajando sola. No recomiendo este lugar a nadie. Es totalmente inseguro y la dueña actúa con muy mala praxis. Por favor, que nadie más pase por lo que yo viví.

+ The bed was comfortable and the place clean. Walking distance to the airport. The hostess was friendly.

- My room didn't have a real door, but rather a piece of plywood. You couldn't lock it. Not that that would have mattered because it was separated from the common area by only a curtain. It has little ventilation with windows opening only to an indoor courtyard.

+ Très propre et vraiment à 2 pas de l'aéroport. Indispensable pour un départ tôt le matin Accueil sympa. Prix intéressant.

- Il n'y a pas de terrasse ou de jardinet, important si on doit tuer quelques heures.

+ Die Lage zum Flughafen ist sehr gut. Violeta ist eine tolle Gastgeberin.

+ Perfect for the purpose: a casa just in walking distance to the airport with a very kind host in a beautiful house.

+ Located very close to the airport, it was an easy walk at 2:45am. The host was welcoming and we had everything we needed. We did think we booked the house and did not realize we were only booking rooms, that the host and other guests would be there, as well. This was not an issue as we were only staying to get a few hours of sleep. There is a fantastic pupusa spot nearby and a small store for basic gocery items.

- The 2 twin bed room only had an overhead fan instead of individual fans. It was really hot at night for those used to having an AC or personal fan.

+ It was very close to the airport for a 3 am flight. Violet was very kind, helping me organise a driver to the airport at midnight, she even got up to ensure everything was okay. It is located in a very safe community.

+ Ottima posizione se si ha il volo il giorno successivo. Stanza pulita e con tutto il necessario. Bagno grande e bella doccia spaziosa

- Canta molto calda ma su quello poco si può fare

- Ich musst in ein anderes Haus wechseln einer Freundin der Gastgeberin. Es war schon sehr laut.
