La Natura Hostel & Pool

Do not stay here - three people I know have had items stolen from this hostel - I had all my jewellery stolen. The room was dirty I had blood on my sheets probably from bed bugs and the hostel were very unhelpful after I told them about my items being stolen.

Turned up after a 4 day jungle trek and was accused of being 24 hour late, despite all the hostelworld confirmation emails saying I was there on the right day and had paid in full. Got into a ridiculous arguement about Dublin time difference with the hostel clearly not wanting to find a solution, just more money. Genuinely appalling customer service 😅 Other than this, the Hostel is fine I suppose, but has a long list of rules and makes you pay for drinking water. Not a welcoming place.

Hi there, Unfortunatley I had quite a bad experience at this hostel. Around two weeks before coming to this hostel I caught bed bugs from another hostel, I had to wash all my belongings twice as well as being covered in bites. When I got to this hostel I sat on the bed turned the fan on and got loads of dust blown into my face, the room had a very musty smell and there was loads of dried skin and dirt on my bed when I arrived. I had a gut feeling I should check for bed bugs, so I did. ...

Okay stay. Booked a private, room smelled like cigarette smoke probably because other people were smoking in their rooms. Room was cleaned while we were out and windows were left open, leaving full access into our room. Also room is above speaker which blasted music all the time. Other than that nice place and Oscar is very helpful.

The location is fine and the pool and breakfast are nice. Other than that, the accomodation is very old and pretty dirty. The shower barely worked in our private room. There are no activities which would make it hard for solotravelers to meet other people. All in all not worth the price and would not recommend.

Unfortunately this is one of the worst hostel I have stayed in so far in my 5 weeks of travel. Far from the beach, no visitors allowed, no hot water, bad pillow/bed (and I mean terrible mattresses and bed frames), holes in the mosquito net and a washroom that is extremely far, down the numerous steps, from the room I was staying in. False advertisement on the cost for laundry ($6,000 on the poster, but charged $10,000/kg) and bad Wifi which did not reach the pool area. The staff did not speak En...

Location, Rooms and Pool are nice and clean, well equipped kitchen, breakfast is okay but not great. Staff was not really friendly and there was absolutley no atmosphere and we did not feel really welcome. Eventhough it was a quiet hostel, the staff (or friends of them) were partying super loud until 5am. So for the price its a totally fine hostel but not great

Dans l’ensemble l’hostel est bien. Simplement nous avons trouvé dommage que la cuisine ferme à 21h alors qu’il n’y a pas de chambres près de celle-ci. La piscine ferme aussi à 21h, sur les Caraïbes c’est dommage… Elle pourrait au moins fermer à 22h. Sinon c’était bien

Fantastic pool! nice atmosphere. Our room was unfortunately very noisy at night due to a pack of street dogs barking continuously. Good location.

All in all a nice hostel with nice pool. People working there are a bit strange and overprotective about their hostel…Too many rules (no alcohol, not swimming in pool after 9, and so on…)

Je recommande vraiment cet hostel! J'ai adoré mon séjour là-bas et j'y serais restée plus longtemps si j'avais pu! le propriétaire est adorable, bien placé et très joli. on s'y sent vraiment bien, c'est le lieu parfait pour se reposer et profiter du village

Overall a very good hostel! Lovely wooden design, great common areas and a nice pool. The kitchen is big and decently equipped. Very strong value for money! And the owners Anita&her husband very friendly and helpful. One warning though: at the weekends it's very noisy due to bars nearby (not the hostel's fault and this seems to be a problem anywhere in Palomino)

Really nice and relaxed Hostel! The lady (I think she is the owner) was super friendly and helpful. F.e. I got a second coffee refill in the morning. They lock the doors at night. The matteresses in the dorm they could invest a bit more as they are really soft and not too comfortable. No waterfilter or free drinking water. You can buy 1L for 2k what is same price as in the stores. The kitchen is closed until 9am as they serve breakfast until then. You can still go inside and grab something.

Wir sind als Familie schon zum zweiten Mal dort gewesen und fühlen uns sehr wohl dort. Super schönes Hostel mit Pool. Personal / Besitzer sind sehr hilfsbereit. Danke.

La natura es un lugar maravilloso para disfrutar de unos días en Palomino! La piscina es deliciosa y la vibra el hostal también. Hay muchas actividades que hacer cerca del hostal y está a un minuto de la calle principal con todos los restaurantes. El personal es simpático y el desayuno bueno. Defeinitivamente lo recomendaría!

Loved this place, great energy, owner is on property taking care of everything, super nice sleeping on the shared room with mattress on the floor!

Stayed a couple of nights here and the first night when I got in someone else was asleep on my mattress, also felt a bit pressured to check out before the actual check out time of 12pm

Great hostel, the owners are very kind and have a beautiful story. I recommend it 100%. Only issue I can think of is that if you choose to sleep in the dorms, it’s on the 3rd floor and the toilet/shower is located on the ground floor.

Le personnel est super gentil et chaleureux. Le décor est très joli. On a fait tout nos déplacements à la plage et aux différents restaurants à pieds. Notre chambre était conforme à la description et le petit-dej est inclus. Je recommande cet hostel :)

Ha sido genial la estancia. Está justo al lado de la calle principal. Muy bonito , acogedor,limpio,y con piscina Desayuno genial Quedé en dormitorio compartido y muy bien,las cosas las puedes dejar con tranquilidad y tienes locker para usar candado . El personal ha sido muy agradable,los dueños atentos ,te orientan donde ir,muy cercanos . El personal ,la señora Noelia fantástica ,es muy cariñosa ,atenta trabaja con mucho amor ,me dijo una cascada cerca bien bonita,gratis,preguntarle....

El personal atento, la piscina ideal y a 10 minutos de la playa caminando

We had a wonderful time at La natura. The hosts were so nice to us and gave us plenty of tips for our travels. We enjoyed it so much that we extended from a few days to more than a week. You can see that they put a lot of love and effort in to this place and we would love to come back. Muchas gracias por todo :)

Lovely hostel manager and great pool, very good value for money

El personal es encantador y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. A menos de 10 minutos caminando de la playa de Palomino. ¡Nos quedamos dos noches más!

Lovely staff here! Great kitchen which we cooked in. Bit off the Main Street but good location to catch the bus. Quite loud music from outside the hostel at night but great apart from that :)

Beautiful hostel and pool. There wasn’t a sociable atmosphere but it’s a lovely place to relax for a couple days. Most of the rooms are very open and my mosquito net had holes in so make sure you use bug spray.

Pasamos 2 noches en el bonito Hostal La Natura, que tenía una ubicación ideal, estaba muy limpio y nos encantó con sus pequeños recuerdos de todo el mundo. También hay una piscina estupenda y un desayuno delicioso, que podías disfrutar en el bonito ambiente del hostal. Pero lo más importante: el personal super cariñoso, especialmente Freddy y los propietarios del hostal, que hicieron todo lo posible por ayudarnos cuando nos pusimos enfermos. Les estamos muy agradecidos y sin duda volvere...
