Hostel Oasis Granada

Some of the rooms really need aircon. It was impossible to stay in the room we booked so we had to move. The staff did what they could but it just needs a bit of work.

Place is a ten for pretty much everything BUT no towels provided or AC in a private unless you pay for it which at more than three times the price of a dorm is crazy. Rooftop terrace is sick, wifi seems good, drinks and food are great. For dorms this is a straight ten but for privates not so much.

The hostel has very good areas and they organize nice social events namely the Pub Crawl that I attended and enjoyed very much but the dorm I stayed in was super warm all the time. No fan could make that better. It was even warmer than outside. There was only a tiny window as well. Make sure you book a dorm or private with aircon otherwise it will be difficult to be comfortable.

Can’t recommend staying here. My private room is constantly filled with cigarette smoke day and night and the private room is not private because it has no ceiling. I am woken up every night from people watching tv etc in their own rooms as it echos around a lot.

I would’nt stay here. The private rooms are awful. So hot I could’nt sleep. The pool and the poolarea really small so we could’nt be there because it was pretty much busy all the time. Food in the restaurante not really good. Social hostel tho with events everyday. Also, do not go out in granada by yourself if you are a woman, we felt very unsafe.

Groot hostel en afstandelijke sfeer. Personeel helpt alleen als ze hun eigen tours kunnen aanbieden of er zelf iets aan over kunnen houden. Ontbijt was van matige kwaliteit.

Bedbugs :( I woke up after my first night here to a trail of bites on both my legs and back. I had at least 20 bites. I informed reception, they moved us to a new dorm and they agreed to do our laundry for free. We paid for the 2 nights we stayed. Overall the staff were helpful but did not seem surprised there was bed bugs which makes me think this may be a regular problem in this hostel. Would not recommend due to this reason and the stress this has caused us!

Das Hostel ist gut und auch sehr sauber. Jedoch sind die Preise für das Essen/Trinken, AC und auch die Touren völlig überteuert.

I wanted to love this place, the pool was nice and it was very social but do yourself a favour and book the ac rooms. We got a private that only had 1 window to the kitchen (also inside) and the room was easily 5-10 degrees hotter then it was outside on the street. It was unliveable and honestly inhumane. Ruined our stay and I’m shocked they haven’t figured out a solution to make those rooms liveable. The heat melted 6 months of my meds.

The hostel is nice however we booked a private room and it was situated right next to the kitchen so was very loud and the curtains are see through. The worst was that the room gets so hot even if you put the fan on that it’s unbearable. I didn’t actually sleep for one of the night and had to take 3 showers to cool down and another night I slept in my friends airbnb instead. Also the mattress was poking us in the back. Nice hostel overall with good kitchen but the rooms need some updating.

The common areas and kitchen here are amazing and beautiful. The breakfast was awesome and free and it changed every day which is nice. This is not a very social hostel, very chill, nomad work type of place. Rooms were okay. The staff seems to get frustrated sometimes and the check out process was awful as they don’t keep good records while you’re there and won’t let you pay as you go. Also on the pricey side. Overall lovely place, just wasn’t our vibe!

Nice place to stay - good location, activities desk etc. my room didn’t have aircon (just a fan) - fine for me but others may struggle.

Insgesamt Mega Hostel. Gute Einrichtung, sehr sozial. Die Küche ist echt Mega, es gibt alles was man braucht und noch mehr. Leider ist das Dach nicht dicht und als es Nachts geregnet hat, ist unser ganzes Zimmer überschwemmt worden und alle Sachen waren nass. Das Hotelpersonal hat zwar einen Wäscheservice angeboten, für Sachen die nass geworden sind, es scheint aber ein dauerhaftes Problem und in vielen Hostelzimmern zu sein. Das sollte repariert werden!

Nice social hostel, well located, really easy to meet people and liked the pool/rooftop. 3 free drinks at happy hour was great. Wish the beds had curtains for privacy

Such a good location right in the centre of Granada. I had private room which was basic but worth it. The pool is nice and clean, and there are nice communal areas all around (pool table, darts, Nintendo switch). The free breakfast was amazing and changed every day so there was a lot of variety. Staff were helpful and nice. Gorgeous rooftop space too. The bathrooms were always clean and there are lots available. Huge communal kitchen and fridges, highly recommended

Süßes Hostel, super hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal, Zimmer etwas sehr heiß (gibt nur Ventilatoren)

I really enjoyed my stay here, it’s a beautiful property with lots of social places to hang out. Would definitely come back.

It's a social and cozy hostel. There are a lot of places to chill out. Breakfast is different every day. It was delicious.

Heel goed hostel. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Alleen niet heel sociaal mocht je daar naar op zoek zijn

Muuuuy hermoso hostel! Súper amplio, cómodo, siempre todo limpio y muy cuidado. Los espacios súper amplios y variados, me encantaron. Los desayunos muy ricos.

Very nice staff. Huge property but you feel perfectly Safe. Sometimes 1 bit unpersonal due to the square meters and the bunch of People. recommend it

Nice, clean hostel in great location. The included breakfast was generous and changed every morning. The hostel was regularly cleaned and there were plenty of shared bathrooms/showers so never had to wait. Nice pool and chill out areas, inc roof terrace. The kitchen equipment was quite limited considering the number of guests and our room was unbelievably hot even with the fan, as it had very little ventilation. Moved into a room with A/C which was great

Hotel oasis was by far my favourite place to stay in Nicaragua! The rooms were clean and comfy and the staff were amazing!! Special shout out to Willy and Brett for being so helpful and nice and taking me dancing!!! Thanks for everything :)
