XPai Guesthouse

The hostel was pretty far from the center. I read really good reviews so I didn’t mind it at first place. When we came the guy from the reception was really nice and even brought us to the city center so we could rent scooters. But Then we found out he hits dogs and tbh it gave a really scary vibe and I just cannot accept this. The dorm was to small and the bathroom not clean and only 1 toilet paper for 6. Don’t understand why this had such good reviews before. Breakfast was ok.

Really enjoyed my stay here ended up extending, the dorms were really nice only 6 beds decent curtains and I loved having the gym and pool. The staff made it feel like home

Een fijn hostel! Het enige minpuntje was dat de receptie niet de hele dag open was vanwege laagseizoen. Er stond een telefoonnummer op de deur (waar zij ook naar verwezen bij inchecken) die je kon appen/bellen als je hulp nodig had, maar hier reageerde ze bij ons niet op. Ook nooit meer een antwoord gehad. Op de laatste dag moesten we het noodnummer bellen om contact te krijgen over een niet nagekomen afspraak maar we onze borg nog terug moesten krijgen.

This is a lovely and clean hostel with a nice pool and even a gym area. Pai is more expensive than other places in Thailand so the room was good value for Pai. Free tea and coffee. The breakfast was pretty expensive so better to buy something to make in the kitchen. Also only book this hostel if you can ride a moped or will get bike hire as it's far out from town (45 mins walk), but being in the countryside was part of its charm.

Pool was green, but our room was clean. Stayed in the dorm for the first night & then upgraded for a private after. Was happy with both. Only bad thing was that we got “kick-out” last minute of our room on the last day because it has been double booked. Error happens & we got refund, but no compensation was offered and we had to re-book the rest of our stay

I went to Pai in the burning season. I did not expect it to be this bad. I think this place must be completely beautiful and awesome when it's not smoggy. The owner let me change my booking from 4 days to 2 days and I got my money back which was much appreciated. The hostel has their own scooters which you can rent at a very favourable price. If your vegan (like me), the breakfast is not great, otherwise it's alright. The swimming pool was awesome and there is a shaded deck which offers a view!

A nice hostel, with a nice pool. Could do with more staff - office shuts at 5pm, leaving you with no water / fridges / facilities / etc. rooms are comfy but small. Pool and loungers are nice, free breakfast and morning coffee was appreciated.

Definitely look into hiring a scooter if you're going to stay here, as the hostel is quite far from the main part of the town. LOVED the cooked breakfast in the morning each day! The pool is also refreshing on those hot days. Rooms are pretty standard and have curtains for privacy.

Si vous voulez être loin du centre-ville, avoir la paix, avoir du personnel souriant et humain et malgré tout être à 7 minutes de scooter du centre ville c'est la place. Mais vous avez vraiment besoin d'un scooter ( 45 minutes de marche du centre ville ) et la nuit il y a des chiens errants sur la route. Aussinon super endroit!

Cute little hostel, really good breakfast and very good atmosphere. Shower was a little cold but not too bad, and the location is kinda far from town unless you rent a scooter (there aren’t that many grabs).

Really nice hostel to relax and take some time for yourself but no social vibe at all. It‘s more of a guesthouse than a hostel. So if you want to connect it‘s not the place. Also you need a scooter. But it is very clean and beautiful. Some sunchairs by the pool would be good

This place is amazing! The staff is friendly, hard working and accommodating. The place is kept spotless and has a great workout area and lots of bathrooms. It is a 45min walk into town but they have scooters to rent for a 6min drive!!

Loved it, best hostel in Pai. Rent a moped and drive around the nice and calm roads, while enjoying a fun but chill space with a pool and even a small gym section!

Süßes Hostel allerdings wirklich SEHR weit außerhalb, man ist also auf einen Roller angewiesen. Zu Fuß sind es etwas 45/50 min ins Zentrum. Die Einrichtung ist allerdings echt süß, genug Haken un Zeug auf zu hängen, Klimaanlange + Ventilator an jedem Bett + Abstellfläche am Bett mit Steckdose und Lampe. Das Frühstück ist oke aber für den Preis kann man definitiv wo anderes viel besser frühstücken

Amazing stay at Xpai, the place is lovely with a pool and nice relaxing areas, the location wasn’t great but we rented peds for 300 Baht a day which was ideal, all staff were very friendly and helpful. Only thing is it’s not very social, there’s a few board games but no community, like a quiz night or something. Would definitely stay again!

This was perfect for our group travelling clean, quiet but felt homely, a little out of the way but easy to get around by ped or taxis!!

We stayed here for two nights in a dorm and we loved it. It’s cozy, clean and the stuff is really nice. Nice pool and fitness area. I would recommend to get a scooter - to the city it’s around 10 min drive.

Everything was pretty nice. Super friendly staff, chill hangout area, the pool was a bit plus and everything very clean. You just need a scooter and you‘ll be completely fine;)

Absolutely beautiful hostel- very small and quiet, but perfect if you need a few days relaxing by a pool. The staff are very friendly. Some basic cooking facilities (microwave, hob, x1 pan etc) are provided. Its located outside of the centre, however is a nice 40 minute walk/ only approx 100 baht taxi each way if you don’t want to walk.

Loved my stay! This was a perfect place to chill! There was a good kitchen were you are able to make food or breakfast. Having a scooter is essential and you can rent it from the town or from the hostel.
