El Carretero Hostel

Very cheap for the night and inside the room I didn’t feel unsafe but in general I did and I was staying in a private. Very unclean, no towels, no soap, no shower curtain, vandalism on the ceiling. Very loud late at night and early in the morning (we did stay on a Saturday though).

Definitely worth the VERY cheap price. Spacious private room. good security with 24 hour reception. Unfortunately showers were cold most of my stay - you get what you pay for. If you don’t like smoking probably don’t stay here.

Very simple but relatively clean and comfortable hostel, for amazing good price. The staff is super cool.

It was very noisy and the door didn’t even fit the frame properly. I was told there was hot water and there wasn’t any. Bedding smelled like smoke and there was poor ventilation. I asked them to organise me a taxi for 1:30am to the airport and they told me they would, but when I went down I couldn’t find anybody, and the place was locked up. After finally finding someone they couldn’t get me a taxi and so I had to order an uber - thank goodness there were Ubers operating. Would not re...

Worst possible hostal and terrible workers. If you want to be woken up at 7am to 3 idiots dragging tables and chairs across the floor then this is your place. I asked them nicely to maybe wait until 9 or 10 and they laughed in my face and continued doing so. Only when I threatened a bad review is when I got my money back for the following night. Rooms smell like cigarettes. Only good thing I found was the beds were comfy.

Un hostal súper parchado, con mucha onda y de los más únicos en los que he estado. Muy recomendado.

Good stay with a private bathroom, decent wifi and nice big kitchen. Hot shower sometimes. but prices aren’t accurate as the change to Bolivianos with different exchange rates. Check before you check out

L'ambiance est très roots, le personnel est incroyable, on se sent en famille. Je recommande sans hesiter !

La seguridad de la puerta con el candado es débil. En el baño sale muy poca agua caliente y no hay papel higiénico. La cocina está bastante sucia. Entiendo que el precio es acorde a las instalaciones, pero está venida a menos. Hay que reconocer que la atención del personal es amable.

I will never stay here again, no lockers in the rooms, laundry very expensive, kitchen is very dirty !! The beds are not comfortable ! Every time you leave the hostel you have to take all your important stuff because there is no safe place !

This was unfortunately not what we expected. The atmosphere was very bad, it was dirty and everything was really old. The towels and sheets was smelling. The only good part was that the staff was helpful even though they almost didn’t speak English.

Très propre et convivial, mais attention beaucoup de bruit !

This is one of the worst place we’ve stayed in our 3 months journey. The kitchen is disgusting, you don’t want to cook there and hang around. We had a private room, the floor seems like it was never cleaned. The sheets seem clean but were smelling smoke and the whole place smells cigarets. The beds were super uncomfortable. Would definitely not recommend this place!

Más que un Hostal fue un hogar! para mí ya que tuve que ir y regresar varias veces en estadía de Bolivia. Me encantó todo en especial la calidez y la hospitalidad de todo su personal. Nuevamente muchas gracias
