   The biggest advantage of this hostel is that it works 24/7. We had a very late flight and checked in around 2 am, so being able to arrive at any time was extremely important for us since we only needed a place to stay for one night. The check-in process was quick and easy. The beds were comfortable, there was a locker provided, and there was a socket near the bed, which was convenient. Wi-Fi worked fast, and there was also an option to leave luggage after check-out and collect it later in the evening, which we really appreciated. The location was excellent as well - very close to the city centre, and we found the place without any problems. As for the downsides, the main issue was the toilet. The locks didn’t work, so it wasn’t possible to properly lock the cabin from inside. Even though it was a female bathroom, it still felt uncomfortable because I had to hold the door with my hand to make sure nobody entered. There was also some water on the floor, which is quite common in hostels, and the rooms were slightly dusty, although not extremely dirty. Overall, I would say it’s good value for money considering the location and convenience.

   Location 1-Star Review – Hostel Stella Di Notte My experience at Hostel Stella Di Notte in Belgrade was extremely disappointing. I stayed there for 30 days and paid regularly, but the treatment I received was completely unacceptable. The owner, Ivana, was aggressive and disrespectful. She yelled at me in front of other guests, insulted me, and even falsely accused me of inappropriate behavior toward another guest, which never happened. She also made insulting personal comments about me that were completely untrue. Reception staff Mirko and Nikola were rude, unprofessional, and dismissive toward guests. Mirko frequently spent time on the terrace smoking weed instead of doing his job. Neither staff member appears to have proper professional or legal training for hospitality work. Hygiene was poor. Bed sheets were changed very rarely, around every 10 days. Two of my towels disappeared and staff acted as if they had no idea. Food from the shared kitchen also went missing. Receipts were not consistently provided and some staff seem to work without proper registration. The hostel atmosphere felt chaotic and unsafe. After paying for a full month, I expected professionalism, respect, and proper management. Instead I experienced insults, false accusations, and very poor service. I strongly advise other travelers to avoid this hostel.

   Perfect location, nice staff, affordable price I’ve stayed here twice before and really enjoyed it, but unfortunately this time was quite different. It seems like some things have changed, there were no keys provided for any of the rooms and main entrance, which made me feel unsafe especially as a female solo traveler, as anyone could walk into the hostel or even the rooms. In my room, there were two women who appeared to be living there long-term, and they made me feel uncomfortable by constantly asking questions like I'm in their own home. Also the floor was dirty and overall cleanliness could be better. Sadly, this experience was disappointing, and I won’t be coming back.

   Prime location Very noisy, blanket is very ugly and thin, uncomfortable bed and pillow, the staff sleep with us in one of the bed, no barrier, toilet is dirty and stink, no privacy at all and the kitchen was v small, male staff keep going to the females room even early morning -..-

   The only good thing is location The staff is horrible. The serbian guy that works on the desk and the cleaning lady have too much freedome. The showers are dirty with hair. They do not provide towels. The door of the female bathroom cannot close and I think the Serbian guy from the desk likes to watch women shower so he wants the door to be open and does not provide help. Extremely bad customer service. This hostel makes you value other accommodation that exists. Please avoid.

   Nothing good about this place. I heard emotional and physical abuse taking place at this hostel. Some blond woman was screaming at her elderly worker and then attacked that person fiscally The thing is that some very bad blond Serbian was emotionally harassing a lady in her 60s - 70s, who was working there with another younger volunteer girl. The mean blond, of the place 20 minutes + was jailing and screaming and then finally attacked, punched her and the old lady was on the floor. She continued hitting and kicking that woman. Later at night, I found out from one guest who smoked on the balcony with me, that Blond was the owner of the Hostel.

   • During my stay, men were coming in and out of the female bathroom, and I had my husband (Josh) stand outside when I was having a shower (and going to the loo at night), as they just have shower curtains, not locked doors. One of the two bathroom stalls also didn't lock.

   The location was good, the price was reasonable. Lockers with keys. I really don't like writing poor reviews, but as a woman, I did not feel comfortable here. The Hostel is set up as 4 apartments across two levels in a residential highrise building (but we only stayed on the first floor). On the first floor, there is one apartment to the right with the reception, common area/ kitchen, "male bathroom" and three rooms, and to the left, another apartment with the "female" bathroom and three more rooms. We were put in a room next to the reception, which is manned 24/7, which is fine, but we also had people in the common room up talking loudly past 3am (we thought maybe keeping the receptionist company?). To get to the "female" bathroom, you have to leave one apartment into a dark stairwell, into the apartment across the hall. During my stay, men were coming in and out of the female bathroom, and I had my husband (Josh) stand outside when I was having a shower (and going to the loo at night), as they just have shower curtains, not locked doors. One of the two bathroom stalls also didn't lock. I only saw male guests, and a few that had a strange demeanour that made me feel deeply unsettled. The bed linen was stained, but initially felt clean, until we found ticks in our beds. The photos also do a lot for this place, but that's no great issue. All in all, this place was fine enough. If you are a man I think you would be fine, it's in a good location for cheap, but if you are a woman, I would consider looking elsewhere, as this is the first time I have ever felt unsettled and unsafe in accommodation, even being with my husband.

   I suppose it's a nice location, but that's it. If you choose this hostel, you support dishonest behaviour. This is one of those places which says they are "overbooked" and then offers the same bed for 100 euros instead of 25. Or a place on the floor for 40 euros, thinking that, with Belgrade being overwhelmed with people who came to the concert, a guest would take anything gladly. And the audacity: when I refused, they tried to get Booking to make me pay the fee for "not coming"! Not recommended, there are hundreds of decent options out there.

    1. L'emplacement au centre de la ville 2. Prix raisonnable 1. L'homme de chambre débarque dans les chambres des filles à toute heure, en toute liberté, sans respect de l'intimité, il allume la lumière à minuit alors que tout le monde dort, il est libre de faire ce qu'il veut. 2. Les portes des toilettes ne se referment pas, et bien sûr, il faut s'attendre à l'intrusion du monsieur à n'importe quel moment, et sans gêne. 3. Partout est écrit "interdit de fumer" mais les gens fument librement dans les balcons, donc l'odeur de cigarette pue dans tout l'immeuble. 4. Une odeur nauséabonde se dégage des machines à laver et ça envahit tout l'immeuble, ça donne envie de vomir. 5. Il n'y a pas assez d'espace dans les chambres, elles sont très étroites pour 8 personnes, ainsi que les casiers. 6. Chaleur et moustiques.

    Sheets are clean and the location is close to center. It's never like in the photos, the rooms are completely different. Although I booked a women's room, they put me in a mixed room. Most of the rest are refugees. The rooms, bathrooms and toilets are also unlocked. Even though I paid for three nights, I ran away after the first night and I didn't get my money back for two nights! It never made me feel trustworthy. Not in the style of a youth hostel. Come knowing these things! Fotoğraflardaki gibi asla değil, odalar tamamen farklı. Kadın odası tuttuğum halde karışık odaya yerleştirdiler. Kalanların çoğu mülteci. Banyolar ve tuvaletler de kilitli değil. Üç gecelik ücret verdiğim halde ilk geceden sonra kaçarak uzaklaştım ve iki gecelik paramı geri alamadım ! Asla güvenilir hissettirmedi. Gençlik hosteli tarzında degil. Bunları bilerek gelin !
