Dalat Note Hostel

There are basically no accessible plugs in the rooms. Maybe one in each room high up on the wall so your phone is just dangling. The lights by the beds didn’t work neither did the plugs. The owner borderline forces you to attend the family dinner. He came into my room to tell me to come to it. No security. Anyone could walk in off the street into the rooms. No luggage storage. Bags just have to be dumped in the rooms. No decent curtains on the beds for privacy. Bathrooms were clean however.

Quite a good location. The staff was helpful for the bus recommendation. But the room was really cold, with big gaps between the door and the wall. And the bathroom was not clean at all.

The hostel was really nice but in the dorms top bunk bed there was no curtains. The stuff was really nice and breakfast was good!!

You get what you pay for and unfortunately that’s not much. The volunteer staff were excellent. The building is outdated and I would recommend searching for something elsewhere.

Nice hostel, the family dinner makes it a lovely social environment without being a party hostel. I stayed in a private room - it was only ok. Furniture was falling apart, duvet was thin and shower was cold. Breakfast was tasty and made to order but pretty small portions. Helpful staff who spoke good English

friendly & helpful staff, big rooms (got a private room), nice rooftop, nice beds as well, good location (maybe 15 mins towards the city centre), my room really smelled like mold though

It was only okay, with the all the good reviews I had high expectations. The room was fine the shower not good and either boiling water or cold, very basic, could hear everyone coming up and down the stairs. I went to a family dinner and it was really awkward.

Lovely family run hostel. Private double room was basic but fine. Family dinner every other night is a nice touch and great for meeting other travellers.

Newly reopened hostel with some things that could have been wished for. Not clean at all, moist in the rooms makes your bed and clothes always feel a bit wet. Toilet and shower barely working. BUT, the hostel was €1 when I booked so can’t expect much either. Food tour, help with booking tours and family dinner is 10/10.

Sympathique auberge, bon accueil. J'étais en chambre privée. Elle était très spacieuse ainsi que la salle de bain. Bouilloire , ventilateur, frigo à disposition. L'insonorisation restera toujours le point faible des logements au Vietnam à mon sens 😅. Super petit dej, je recommande cet établissement.

Great location and vibe! Excellent value for money as a private room was only £10 a night! Would highly recommend doing the family dinner when you’re there too as it is all cooked by the owner and is such a great way to meet people and try Vietnamese cuisine. The rooftop bar has a great view too.

I had the most lovely time staying here in Da Lat. the staff were lovely and made me feel at home. It was in a great location and had alot of tours and guides to offer. If i go back to Da Lat I would definitely stay here again

We‘ve had a great stay at Da Lat Note Hostel!! The Family and staff is super nice and helpful. We did the countryside tour organised from the hostel with easyriders which was amazing! Breakfast was good as well, and the rooms were clean. Would definitely recommend :)

Room was fine. Nothing special but it's cheap, so you get what you pay for. Unfortunately no Aircon in the room.

The property very nice, the free breakfast if u book with that option was always amazing and a great start to the day! The staff was amazing and super friendly I spent a decent amount of time with them and there all amazing people would definitely recommend staying here

Great location in the centre, the hostel is very clean and they serve delicious breakfast and family dinner. The staff is so friendly and they were always happy to help whenever I need it, I met many people there and went on a tour for a good price, I highly recommend this hostel, thanks everyone !

Note Hostel was an amazing hostel, super cozy, organized, and with super friendly staff. The location is good, and the biggest highlight is the family dinner, which is super varied and delicious.

Super comfortable and clean. The staff are really helpful and nice! I saw some reviews that said the top bunks do not have curtains, but mine did. I think the owner put them in recently. The blankets and mattress were really comfortable too.

not a party hostel. the Volunteers are the absolute best. Family dinner nice to socialise, tasty. Semi Social but very nice chilled atmosphere.

Nice hostel, lovely staff who helped book a bus to Hoi An. Small walk to centre but not too far. Rooms were decent. No curtains on top bunk though. And onsuite bathroom is a wet room so got dirty after a few people had showers.

J’ai beaucoup apprécié rester dans cette auberge. Les hôtes sont très accueillant. Et les volontaires qui y travaillent sont sympathiques et prévenant. Il y à plusieurs activités qu’il peuvent réserver pour nous et je trouve ça beaucoup plus pratique surtout quand on ne parle pas vietnamien.

It was lovely! Everything is super clean and family dinner is lovevly!! Staff is super nice, the family who owns the hostel are super nice too and will help you with everything you need. Nice breakfast, nice family dinner. Very kind and helpful staff. I stayed in a dorm, there were an outlet by the bead and a light by the bed. There was a full curtain on one side, on the other side there was only half of a curtain and my bed was in the middle, not beside a wall. The top bunks did not have curtains. Overall really good, clean enough and good space. There is a very cozy and nice rooftop. Good wifi!

One of the #1 hostels of my trip. I booked the deluxe double bed private.
