Geneva Hostel

Got bed bugs over a course of few days. All over my hands, legs, and face. I did inform them and they said checked all bedding and found nothing. Did see blood stain from bed bug on the sheet. Need to do more deep hot wash for all sheets to wipe out bed bugs and swap out mattress and pillow every time. We also had two incidents - one woman kept waking up someone in middle of night because she wanted lower bunk bed. Another woman refused to close window all night and that one night was freezing.

Te envían dos días antes la tarjeta de transporte con la que rellenas los datos y tienes acceso al tren desde el aeropuerto autobuses y tranvías de ginebra. El día antes haces check- in online. La atención del recepcionista y los trabajadores tanto la mujer brasileña de limpieza como otro trabajador que había fue muy amable. Es un ambiente muy bueno la mayoría que están hospedados son por conferencia o estudios. Los colchones y almohadas son anti ácaros y anti chinches, la ropa limpia la recoges a la hora de hacer el check-in,(sabana bajera funda nórdica y funda de almohada). El check-in es a las 3 pm pero te guardan tus pertenencias. El check out es a las hasta las 11 am pero si pagas unos 4€ puedes guardar tus pertenencias en una taquilla y también puedes quedarte por las salas comunes del hostal que son muy acogedoras. El desayuno básico y suficiente tostadas, embutidos, zumos, cafés yogures, cereales y dos tipos de bollería. Al desayunador solo se puede entrar una vez la tarjeta solo deja hacer una entrada .. lo digo por si os pasa lo que a mí que me fui a vapear afuera y se me olvidó coger el café y cuando quise entrar no pude, pero el señor del restaurante muy amablemente me lo dio. Un gran abrazo y gracias por vuestro trabajo a todos desde España si vuelvo a ginebra no dudaré en volver a Geneva hostel.

BEDBUGS IN AL THE ROOMS AND BEDS, it was a nightmare and the worst experience I ever had, the front desk manager didn’t helped me and they don’t even ask for the cleaning team for do anything I even took one pillow with bedbugs and take it down to show them and they don’t even react, they said that they can’t do nothing and they were fully booked so they can’t change me to other room, really the worst experience, please never go there.

El peor hostel en el que me he hospedado, me picaron chinches en la cama, me cambie a otra en la misma habitación y también estaba infestada, fui con el personal y no me ayudaron con nada, tampoco pidieron que se limpiara la habitación y la atención fue pésima por parte del front desk manager y el hostel en general.

Bed Bugs. Poor customer service.

BED BUGS. First stop of my trip and I woke up covered in bites. Staff refused to provide refund or compensation for expenses incurred. They said nobody else mentioned bed bugs, implying I was lying. Good location. Very secure. Free bag storage. Good breakfast. Feels like a prison. No social scene. Bed bugs. Poor service. Lots of school groups.

Bed bugs in the « clean » sheets

Het was in de herfstvakantie er waren veel scholieren die tot midden in de nacht veel herrie maakten. Helaas moest ik ook van kamer verwisselen ivm vermoedelijk bedwantsen. Moest al mijn kleding wassen.

We found bed bugs in one of our beds while staying here. The front desk was not helpful or considerate in this matter and did not do anything. Beware that it gets extremely hot in the summer months.

La habitación olía mal y había chinches

Good hostel but gave me bed bugs!!!!

esta infestado de chinches, por lo menos en las camas de hasta abajo. mi amigo terminó con ronchas y no pudo dormir nada.

Je suis venu plusieurs fois ,,,d habitude pas de problemes ,bon accueil, propre , bon petit dej , mais cette fois ci , le lit n etait pas propre, ni sous le lit et je me suis fait devorer par les punaises de lit

Bed bugs

The hostel is good in terms of facilities, cleanliness, food and location. We liked our stay here. But the only problem we faced here was the problem of bedbugs at night. It really made our sleep at night uncomfortable. The hostel administration needs to take this problem seriously and resolve it.
