    nothing was up to expectation- with the rate per night it's better to stay at 5 star hotel - no value for what was paid. every thing, - staff was not professional- not trained - deals with you at very poorly approach.

    1. The staff are nice and helpful 2. Of course, the price at which it was available to me was too good to be true. 3. Free parking was provided in the neighbouring building despite no more parking left at the property (happens when you are booked to full - it seems) 4. The staff was overstretched, but they served with a smile all along. mid of the night I felt a little chill and requested an additional duvet and another pillow - and a smiling assistant quickly provided it. Thanks. 5. The 24-hour kitchen is a help, not many options, but it works. 1. There is no waterfront view or access from inside the property for most of the rooms - maybe you get a view only from the top floors - and that too from one side - since there is a huge hotel in front of the same in between the Jaddaf view - you actually need to get out and walk a while to get to the Jaddaf view, which is kind of a letdown - but it was fine for me for the price I got the room. 2. I and many guys checked in along with me - did not like the mandatory mini-bar deposit requirement. However, I can understand the commercial aspect of the policy but this is one facility they need to mention at the time of booking - if someone needs it or not - because not only the fridge provided is very small - but also the minibar items leaves no space for you own 2-3 bottles of water if you need to keep - especially in the summers. I like my brand of yoghurt - but there was no space for that too - I would rather expect an empty and working fridge, or an option to have it cleared before paying. 3. Now here's the funny part - the name "Kingsgate-Jaddaf" - there are 3 properties with the same name in the same vicinity, ostensibly owned by the same management, and yes they distinguish them with a Suffix or a prefix - but honestly - if you are driving and first time - you might just type KINGSGATE JADDAF - and reach the wrong one - it was not just me - there was another guest at the wrong Kingsgate. The management must look at this branding conflict and challenge from the guests pov - if you have to have 3 Kingsgate hotels, just name them - Kingsgate-1,2 & 3 - keep it simple.
