9 Hostel and Bar

I stayed for two nights and have picked up bed bugs. When I booked there was a review from a month ago but upon finding the bites I checked the group chat and there was a whole bed bug thread, they must have been infested for at least a month now. The staff kind of tried to be helpful, although it took about an hour and all they did was refund me my stay and offer me £3 towards the cost of laundering all of my stuff. A massive inconvenience, and they don’t seem to be taking it seriously.

I am sorry to give this review. Because the stall is really nice in a great location near the city center, but unfortunately during my stay I found bedbugs in the bed. The staff did not warn the other people who were in the room and I did not immediately evacuate it and disinfect it. They told me that they would have it cleaned the next day, but they were referring only to my bed, so probably inside the room there will still be bedbugs.

The hostel was very dirty, showers and toilets all smelled had mold and sometimes either no water or only cold. The AC was never really working. All the plugs next to the beds were located in very strange positions, making it impossible to charge anything. Sadly there is also no lift... the staff were always super nice, and try to help, but I think this doesn't really on them, but rather on the operation and maintenance of the hostel.

12 people forced to evacuate our dorm due to a disgusting bed bug infestation. Staff were aware of the infestation the day before and did not inform any of the guests. When we found out (from other guests, not the staff) it was 11:30pm so there was almost no time to book a new place for that night. We were not offered any solutions other than to ‘sleep in the beds with the bugs’ or leave and find somewhere else to sleep ourselves. Not been refunded nor reimbursed for the other hostel. Awful...

Double booked even tho I was there first for two days they told me to leave . Promised free bed and taxi to other sister hostel. Got there and ALICE the receptionist denied saying it and was lying 1am and no where to stay. Solo traveller!!

Totally disappointed by this hostel. I booked in a single night then when I got up I booked another 3 nights on hostel world . I had to move room I slept there one night on the second night at 00.00 I came home to find someone in my bed with a key to my locker . My stuff was still in locker and all stuff off bed and shelf had gone. I. Went to reception and they told me they double booked and I had to leave . This was the hostel I booked being 100% sure I was gonna like the most, and it ended up being the worst one out of all of them. The photos look nice, but they’re not even from the hostel. They’re from the café on the ground floor, which has nothing to do with the hostel. The second-floor bathroom never had toilet paper any time I went there, there was a huge dead cockroach under my bed (I’m pretty sure it had been there for a while), and they even tried to charge me for something they did...

See previous review. Inhe mixed room, or the room with males and females stunk really badly i suspect due to the fact that they do not change the sheets. They may also not clean areas like the inside of the locker. Staff was not able to understand basic english sentences and did not ask for a google translate which i can provide instead. i switched to a competing location due to the smell and it was great.

Not good, when i arrived the room smelled horribly. I think it is due to the fact that the staff does not change the sheets or bedding and also probably because they do not clean the inside of the lockers so theres some bacteria growing inside there. Cafe is nice but the whole hostel is dirty. There was literally a plaque of snot on the wall next to my bed with a hair in it. Sorry but have to share this. The showers are dirty too

Chill and Nice. Not so social and staff ok. Motvind special but it does it job for a good price. Ok loccation aswell

Good privacy, nice location

Overall… maybe i had a bad experience - i could see that it’s not all bad - but for me there was Really loud base music audible through the walls, had an ant colony moving around my bed, really strange smell in the common area. The girl next to me set her god forsaken alarm for 6am then went for a 30 minute shower which probably tainted my experience… please dont be that person!!!!

Great staff and speak perfect english. Huge spacious beds and clean and modern dorms and lockers. No elevator and lots of stairs though, and no luggage storage room if you are to check out and leave your belongings somewhere. Good location, and great for the price. Circle K opposite and a delicious cafe downstairs.

A good hostel with an even better bar, quite near to the centre of the city. Overall this very vertical hostel had well kept rooms with decent shared bathroom facilities, maintained by very friendly and welcoming staff. The highlight was definitely the bar / eatery on the ground floor, which featured a wide range of food and drink at a great price.

The bed is quite comfortable and the staff really helpful. I just stayed a night to catch a flight but I would like to stay there again !!

Amazing hostel, staff were lovely and helpful, beds were comfortable and spacious. not social as the restaurant down stairs is open to the public so it's not really a hangout for the hostel. with all this there was super loud construction across the road going on non stop through the night. hopefully the construction is finished soon!

Was here for a week - it’s in D1 but not a particularly nice part of it yet was walking distance to all the main attractions. Lockers are big and bunks were decent. Food was good/great and pretty cheap. Main issue is that there’s a building directly across the road being completely renovated so there’s tons of construction noise at all hours (bring earplugs) + the hostel wasn’t overly social as there wasn’t really a decent bar or common area.

This hostel was good and was what I expected after looking at the photographs. Staff were helpful and friendly and the bar/cafe downstairs was really handy!

This place is a very nice place to stay a few days. However if you want to meet people it’s not the best place as there isn’t “social area” Most of the staff is great ! Thanks to the women working there which were so helpful and friendly ♥️ however I had a bad experience with a male working there The cafe downstairs is very nice

Schönes Hostel in top Lage. Das Hotel ist nicht das sozialste es gab nur wenig Interaktion zwischen den Gästen. Unten ist ein Restaurant das mega leckeres Essen hat auch für Vegetarier und Veganer

Buen lugar para pasar unas noches, no tiene mucho espacio en general. Pero todo está limpio y todo funciona, desayuno bueno!

I’ve come back to this hostel because the staff are so lovely. The rooms are clean and comfy, and you’re in a great location for HCMC :)

Nice hostel. I liked the ddorms. The restaurant downstairs makes delicious food. The staff were kind.
