Saigon Gao Hostel

The AC was broken and it was damn hot in the room, it was so hot it was very difficult to actually stay in the room for more than 5 minutes.

I got bed bug bites from this hostel. The curtains don’t cover the whole bed, the bed shakes as you climb to the top bunk. The building smelled really bad. Would not recommend.

Bo inte här! Vi bodde här i två nätter, hittade vägglöss i sängarna och vägglusbajs. Personalen verkade inte förvånade alls över detta, de gav oss enbart en liten insektsspray och pengar tillbaka för en av nätterna vi betalat för.

Arrived New year's eve at 6pm to be told they had overbooked so I couldn't stay

I don’t recommend. Good location and friendly staff but the door of the bathroom in our 6 mixed dorm didn’t lock, smelly drain, mould on the fan and A/C. My bunk bed was broken and very noisy whenever I moved which woke up both me and our roommates during the night. Not a very social hostel too.

The room door could not be locked. Location is great and quiet. Personnel was polite but not really friendly and almost unable to speak english. Atmosphere was quite cold. The room was not clean, the bed sheet were dirty and the bathroom was okayish.

Hostel is okay, but Not great. The bed is really really Bad. It feels like your lying directly one the coil Springs of the matress. Located in a Small and quite alleyway.

Small hostel with small communal area. Saw two other guests in the time we were there (one of which was in our dorm). Room was filled with mosquitoes, when we asked about it they came and sprayed something which seemed to do nothing. So had to apply repellent before bed but still ended up with bites each morning. The lady at the front desk was very helpful with booking our Cu Chi tunnel tour and even got us a discount.

Great location in district one and couldn't really hear the outdoors. The lady that was working was really lovely. The beds are metal frames and super creaky. The toilet didn't smell great

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful design of the space. The location was also very convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Cute little place, comfy beds, staff was great. Not the most social but there’s hostels nearby to hangout at

Great spot beside walking street. Very helpful staff who are quick to let you in if you stay out late! Comfy rooms except the AC didn’t seem to cool the room at all and leaked water.

Hostel near walking street, near local market. You can to try local food amazing in Sai Gon Staff very helpful and tour Mekong delta an Cu Chi tunnel cheaper more than tour office.

I like it here. Very accessable to anything anywhere. I miss my friend Alphabet. I like him. He is so nice. My bedmate. I hope I can see him again. Please tell him it's me under the bed C3

The hostel is in a great location, a few minutes from the War Remnants Museum and the Ben Thanh Market. The dorm beds are quite comfortable. Overall the hostel is clean, it has a nice lounge area and a kitchen too. Overall I had a great stay.

+ I sincerely recommend this hostel . The owner and her son are wonderful people and helped me a lot with my questions. It was very comfortable to sleep, since the guest house is located in the center, but on a very quiet street. There is a market nearby where you can buy everything and excellent food..
