I found bedbugs multiple times in one night..that left me a bit paranoid

The room—what can I say? They are not spacious. However, there is space to store your suitcase under the bed and there’s a locker available for maybe a backpack or other small things. BUT I have a lot to say… The first few days were really good, since in my room there were barely 3 of us. First, regarding cleanliness: even though it’s a hostel, the rooms were not checked regularly. Trash was only taken out when someone checked out, but not every day; and I think that if someone stays for more days, at least the sheets should be changed, or the room swept or something—but nothing. I say this because one day I woke up completely covered in bed bug bites, and when I say completely, I mean completely. Arms, neck, chest, and legs. I immediately informed one of the reception girls (they were all amazing from day one). I showed her photos of the bites, and she informed her manager about the problem. A few minutes later, they changed me to another room, and the girl who was staying with me was also moved. Personally, during the first days I slept uncomfortably because I kept feeling like I was being bitten all over again. That night, the receptionist told me the manager wanted to speak with me the next day, and we set up a time. The next day I waited for him, but he didn’t show up at the agreed time. One of the reception girls had to go and look for him. The conversation with him was basically just a “sorry” and nothing more—no concern, no asking if I needed medical help or anything else. Honestly, I expected more from HIM (not from the staff, who were great), because he was the one who asked to see me. I didn’t want to make a bigger problem out of it, but come on!!! Show some concern for your guests. I didn’t move to another hostel because I didn’t want to pack and relocate all my things since my stay was long; and overall I was comfortable.

Bedbugs!!! I checked in, went to the room, and put down my bag. I looked at the bed and saw a bunch of bedbugs on the sheet. Big and small, which means they've been there for a while. I told management and showed them the bugs and they moved me to another room. That was OK but there's no way there's only bedbugs in that 1 bed in 1 room. Especially considering there were large and small bugs there which means there are generations of bedbugs in there. They easily hop from bed to bed so there's no way I can recommend the hostel after what I saw. I only stayed 1 night.

it was my second time to stay here. The first time was very nice, but this time I got bitten by bed bugs. I complained the next day, and they said they'd clean it. They did yes, when i came back, it was tidied up already. But after few minutes, there were still so many bed bugs showing up. I hurriedly booked another hostel that night at 11pm. I booked for 3 nights, but i only stayed for 1 night.

the front desk service were amazing and very welcoming! However, when we arrived to our dorm, we found dead bed bugs on the mattress:( . Unfortunately we did not stay as we were quite alarmed, but the front desk was very accommodating to our situation.
