Hostel Bohemian

The stuff was not really professional, I did not see that they care about me as a client, nobody took a second to make me feel welcome or comfortable. Nobody spoke or tried to speak at least a little English which is strange because I travel all over the world and this is the only place nobody understands the language which for a company like this is very unusual. Thank goodness I did not booked more time because it would be totally a ripoff to pay for that terrible service. Very disappointed!

Difficulté à trouver l'hostel car il n'y a rien d'indiqué sur la porte, quand on arrive à rentrer le personnel n'est pas très accueillant et il faut tomber au bon moment pour pouvoir parler à quelqun car il n'y a jamais personne à la "réception". Si vous êtes allergique aux poids d'animaux fuyez car il y a 3 chiens et au moins 2 chats et le ménage ne doit pas être fait régulièrement car il y a des poils partout. Les chiens font leurs besoins à côté de vous pendant le petit déjeu...

Avoid. Arrived on a Saturday afternoon, a guy came out to meet us but couldn't find our booking. I gave him my name and said I booked through HostelWorld, he just shrugged. I used google translate to help the communication bridge but he wasn't interested. Instead he just decided to bring us into the nearest dorm and pointed at a SINGLE top bunk bed . I had a booking for a private room as we are a couple. Incredibly disappointing experience. Since emailed the hostel and no reply.

The place was totally different comparing with what I booked. I left the place.

La zona de la entrada es hermosa, sin embargo los dormitorios y baños de abajo son todo lo contrario, baja bastante el estándar. De todas maneras las camas están buenas. Podrían limpiar más seguido porque hay muchos huéspedes y solo cuatro baños. Son un poco desorganizados con los horarios del desayuno, etc.

The location is very convenient to move around the city and there are many shops, restaurants and supermarkets around. The building is a nice old structure but has seen better days. The beds, pillow, sheets and bed covers looks dirty and really old. In 3 days I didn't see anyone doing a cleaning or changing the lining on beds. Staff is friendly but are often loud, playing really loud music during the day and till late at night which is quite annoying.

The dorms are really stuffy and the atmosphere was really private. But the building is nice.

un buen lugar para estar en corto tiempo el lugar seguro con mucho bullicio dentro pero tranqui el amigo ruso del lugar un capo muy amable 100% lo recomiendo

Nice hostel, located in quiet neighborhood. My dorm was ok, there were no windows, so it was pretty hot inside. They provide simple breakfast (bread, butter, jam, and coffee). Only 2 bathrooms for taking shower. Staff was nice. Hostel has many cute dogs and cats.

Very good staff. I accidentally booked the wrong dates and they were able to correct this without any issues. Bathrooms are clean and have hot showers On the downside, slightly expensive and there were cats and dogs running around in the common areas and kitchen

Muy buen espacio para unos días en Uruguay, la ubicación es muy buena y el personal es muy amable

Super beautiful hostel with an amazing interior and cozy backyard. Love that they have a pool table inside. But it’s very cold inside and there are only 2 bathrooms/showers available in the whole hostel.

Un lugar con lo necesario para estar a gusto y dedicarse a disfrutar de la ciudad

Great place to chill out, very quiet when I was there.

It was nice staying here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cats were adorable in a good location not too far from restaurants, supermarkets or the bus terminal. The room was nice and clean but was on the ground floor facing the street with curtains that didn't close all the way so people coud look in but there were shutters on the outside so not a big problem.

fine to stay a few nights just the city is not great so i would skip

Secure coded lock on front door, quirky but warmhearted staff, this place is in aged grand house (look up above pool billiard & view the stained glass ceiling). Kept very clean. Rooms ~ normal. Kitchen functions well. Back has garden with good & protected seating. Location: Residential area with provisions and several bookshops e.g. Esmeramuza ('skirmish'), with lunchplace & garden where retired couples and cultural elite socialize.

The dorms are really stuffy and the atmosphere was really private. But the building is nice.

Lugar seguro y bien ubicado para pasar unos días en Montevideo.

They need more bathrooms and more or larger lockers and more space to store food. The showers don't get very warm. Otherwise, everything was good.
