+ Owners are great, as well as location.
- Unfortunately I was bitten by bedbugs severely. For 2 days my eye was swollen until I got medications, expensive ones I must add. Bedbugs are in the room close to the kitchen, not others. Beware of that hostel and in general that it might happen anywhere. Scientific fact: bedbugs prefer girls blood and not men, so some men can be clueless there are bugs!

+ Nothing.
- They didn't want to turn on the air conditioner because I was the only customer in the room, they said it was broken, when I asked again a few minutes later they said it wasn't broken and turned it on, what a disgraceful business approach.
+ It's a 10-minute walk to the beach
- Very basic and run-down hostel with an old bathroom. The owner isn't very helpful with information and seems to be looking for extra ways to make money--for example, if you ask him for a taxi he'll connect you with someone who charges 13 euros to take you 5 minutes to the bus station when the fair price on a taxi meter is 3 euros. BEDBUGS!!! Tons of them!! Do not stay here, super gross and I was told after the fact that the owner knew about them and didn’t do anything other than just change the sheets.
maybe the worst hostel I've ever stayed at. everything is superrundown and dirty and the hosts didn't handle a bedbug situation well. dogs and their hair everywhere. Aircon wasn't available in a 8 bed dorm and window not really good to open due to wind, street dog's and construction site next to the hostel. left after one night due to the bedbugs and didn't get my agreed refund. overall an unpleasant situation.
+ It is close to the beach and the lungomare of Vlora. Free parking in the street next to the hostel.
- It is dirty and old. The bathroom, the towels, the kitchen, the sheets of the bed and everything else is dirty. The crockery in the kitchen are ruined and old, the fridge smells bad as if there is something dead inside. A guy that works there was sleeping on the couch in the lobby which was something very weird to me

For the size of the hostel, the number of showers (3, and only 1 with hot water) and toilets (3) (two outside the building) is not enough. I had to get up at 4:30 AM to shower to avoid the rush, and quickly left. Little in the way of common areas. While there are cloth bench seats outside, the two resident dogs are jumping up on the furniture with dirty paws. Of the 12 hostels I have stayed in over the past four weeks, this has been the most unkempt, unclean, and unsafe hostel I have stayed in.

Super friendly host and super social volunteers. I felt welcome from the first second! I had a very good time with people from all over the world!

+ The people will really help you out and they gave good and a lot of perfect recommendations (food etc) which I found unique compared with other hostels I have been. Was almost like a travel agency.
- The blankets (off season when it’s colder) were kind of old and very smelly and I wasn’t feeling well sleeping with that. Wouldn’t do it again, but if you don’t mind you will find nice people at least.
Great location, clean and equipped bathroom and kitchen. Bedside plugs didn’t work for me but found another. Very friendly staff and enjoyable common area.

Very nice hostel and staff, January is maybe not the best time to visit but they have a lot of things to do in the summer.
+ Приятный владелец, порекомендовал хороший ресторан. Позволил оставить вещи в комнате на целый день, когда я не знал, останусь ещё на одну ночь или нет. Не давил насчёт оплаты. Все было спокойно, расслабленно. Улыбчивый человек. После завтрак был включён в цену.
- Это хостел «старой школы». Наличие общественных зон располагает к знакомству с другими, но всё выглядит немного уставшим, не совсем комфортным. Не очень понравилось, что внутри помещения только один совмещённый санузел. Штора в душевой жёсткая, неудобная, постоянно проливается вода на пол. Есть объявление, чтобы вытирали пол, но не было швабры. Перед калиткой появляется лужа, и все разносят оттуда грязь, можно было бы чем-то её засыпать. Общественная зона во дворе грязновата. К сожалению, не обошлось без происшествий: мою подругу в октябре 2025 покусали клопы, она ночевала в комнате, которая расположена прямо возле кухни. Я ночевал в двух других комнатах, у меня подобных проблем не было.

+ The place is lovely and the owners are excellent and helpful. The best testimony is the number of repeat guests they have! At least 3 guests that I remember are regular visitors. It's funky and it's got a couple of drawbacks, notably that there was no heat while I was there and nights got COLD. But they will provide you with plenty of heavy, warm blankets! And they won't bother you if you just want to hang out. The view is amazing and the area is peaceful. There's a cute little common area with an island vibe for everyone to hang out in and a tasteful terrace with couches. The beds are firm and comfortable, the kitchen has plenty of cooking tools, and the "wonderful breakfast" that's available during the season is there every morning by 8:30. The owners are very proud of their country and are good family people, and you can feel it. I'm going to return.
- No heat at night and it got cold, but that is easy to cope with. Any other complaint I could make is beyond their control, like the weather and the power going out for a few minutes about once a day. There's just nothing bad to say.
