Bed bugs

Das Hostel ist seit Monaten mit der U-Bahn kaum erreichbar, da der U-Bahnhof auf einer Seite (Richtung Norden) gesperrt ist. Ab 22:30 findet Schienenersatzverkehr statt, aber man findet die Haltestellen in der Stadt nur unter größten Schwierigkeiten und niemand scheint zu wissen, wo die Busse abfahren. Direkt um die Ecke befindet sich ein Musikclub, der jede Nacht (außer Sonntag) bis 2 Uhr morgens hämmernde Bässe bis zum Anschlag im Freien spielt. Unmittelbar unter meinem Fenster gab es eine Bühne im Rahmen der Fete de la Musique mit ähnlichem ohrenbetäubendem Krach über viele, viele Stunden. Eine Zimmermitbewohnerin mit Migräne war am Ende ihrer Kräfte. Der Lift ist wohl seit Wochen außer Betrieb, auch Schwerbehinderte müssen ihr Gepäck in die oberen Etagen schleppen. Das "Badezimmer" ohne Fenster ist < 1 m² groß und ständig überflutet. Ob die Bisse an Armen und Beinen von Bettwanzen stammen, kann ich nicht abschließend beurteilen, aber sie sehen verdächtig danach aus.

Pretty place and quiet area. Machine inside charged me 5.99 to withdraw money, which wasn't clearly mentioned anywhere before the transaction. The rock ceilings look nice but they drop dust on to the beds and floors. This leads to a feeling like sand all over your feet, and blankets, and skin. I had a large chunk of rock, like a pebble, fall into my bed also. This is not something they can easily fix so I didn't mention it, when I did mention an issue with the locks to one man on the desk he implied it was my fault and was rather rude, which out me off mentioning anything else. My room stunk badly for a few nights and was incredibly warm. I did open the windows, but the heater kept blasting and can't be turned off. It felt like a sauna and gave me a headache. The shower rooms are open plan, and the whole floor gets wet, so be sure to hide your shoes somewhere high up. The locks on the showers were also very stiff, leading me to feel like I was trapped in there several times. When I checked in, the man on the desk wanted me to 'party', and when I said I didn't he made me feel pretty awkward, there is a beautiful bar area, but I rarely saw anyone there, even on new year. I had a pretty peaceful stay as its a very quiet area. When I was there the local underground stop wasn't fully open which meant I often had to walk 10 minutes or so to another stop, which was a bit annoying. There's supermarkets nearby. My room was rarely totally full so it was quite peaceful mostly. No curtains on the beds which is a shame, little privacy. Overall fine, no bed bugs or large family groups, which is what I was trying to avoid.

Cool hostel with friendly staff and bar. Stayed two nights and the bites started showing up on the second. Def bed bugs, saw blood in the sheet as well. Hard to give a good review. Only 7 bites so far 😕

Rooms incredibly hot, no air. All of us in the room are now infested with bed bugs. One girl saw the blood stain on her sheet.

They have bed bugs! Told them to check on bed as i killed couple of them they replied my rewiev next day saying there is no evidance of bed bugs! There was spots of blood on the sheet. thats not how you treat a custumer just to hide reality!!!

El sitio está muy bien y el ambiente genial pero a la cuarta noche....CHINCHES!!! Empezamos a verlas por toda la habitación y con un tamaño considerable. Al día siguiente estuvimos toda la mañana lavando ropa, mirando que no quedara ninguna en la maleta, etc. Para la devolución completa de la estancia han tardado 2 meses y medio. A EVITAR!!!
