This hostel is extremely intrusive. Rooms cannot be locked, the staff behaves as if they are allowing you to stay there for free, they move and touch your stuff everyday while cleaning do not even bother to “hide” that, I was searching for my stuff every day (they even put it in the backpack). 500 BHT deposit for a padlock is taken if towel/bed sheets have stains (which they check in great detail in order to find something), even if you were e.g. bitten by a mosquito. Very bizarre behavior.
Good location as it's near the pier . Comfortable beds and I met some very nice people here . Some of the bed sheets/towels had marks on it so we dont know if they are changed fully Nice friendly staff but not very helpful when asking for help or recommendations Anyone could just walk in the doors which didn't make me feel secure
NO AIR CONDITIONING!! In 4 Person Mixed Dorm although Air Conditioning is listed as one of the amenities! Pillow was covered in mold and so was the ceiling. When staff were informed they put on quite the show acting like they were shocked to both me and my roomie. Safety box is not secured to anything and the door has to be manually locked upon people leaving and returning each time. If you weren’t hot enough with no AC you get a very nice fleece blanket.
Ziet er netjes uit, maar bedden waren vreselijk. Je kon je veringen van de bedden gewoon voelen. Geen airco in sommige kamers. Een goor fleece dekentje ipv echte lakens.
It looked clean, but the beds were terrible. i could just feel the air coming from the beds. no air conditioning in some rooms. once a fleece blanket with real sheets.
When checking in the owner was lovely, polite and very helpful, with their member of staff being extremely helpful and nice. However, once I went into the room I soon realised there wasn’t any AC, having made this rookie mistake previously, I always now double check when searching for a hostel to select the AC box. Then when I select a room at a researched hostel I tend to just wiz through and pick the cheapest room. To put this room in and amongst AC rooms is very misleading.

Bett war nicht mega stabil und bissel ungemütlich. Leider keine Vorhänge. Leider kaum schlaf, weil meine Schlafnachbar rumgeschrien hat. An sich aber ein gutes Hostel, gibt viel schlimmere
The bed was not very stable and the belly was uncomfortable. unfortunately no curtains. unfortunately I can barely sleep because my sleep neighbour screamed. but in a good hostel, there are much worse things.

Hostel was super clean and it was nice to have a proper bed instead of a bunkbed. However, there is no way of locking the dorm door and so it felt intrusive and a little uneasy when staff came in to check on the room in the early hours of the morning. We were also unaware of the high deposit of 500thb per person.

I loved the property, Pearl and Sky were so sweet over there. They were really nice and always helped me on diving tips and restaurant recommendations… the place was near the pier, walking distance sided with a bike rental, so everything was awesome!!! I’ll be back one day

Very good location and very friendly people who work there. Not very social though . The singel beds are very comfortable on the one hand but on the other hand you are very dependent on your room mates- if they come home late you’ll probably wake up since there are no curtains. My mattress was also very worn out. It was really great, that the bathrooms of the room had two seperate toilets and one seperate shower!
Kind of like a hostel room but fancier. Staff was always super nice and offered help when needed. Each room had their own bathroom which (just like the entire room) was cleaned everyday. Towels are replaced every two days, sheets every four. The overall vibe is super chill and there's a lounge with lots of seating. We really enjoyed our stay!
El personal es muy atento y amable. El hostel está impecable y sobretodo las habitaciones, camas muy cómodas, baño privado y te dan toalla. El mejor hostel de koh tao sin duda.
The hostel is impeccable and above all the rooms, very comfortable beds, private bathroom and tea towel. the best hostel in koh tao without a doubt.

Sehr schönes Hostel, auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Recht ruhig und angenehm mit sehr nettem Personal. Die Unterkunft war sehr gut ausgestattet und durch die tägliche Reinigung sehr sauber.
Very nice hostel, definitely to recommend. quite quiet and pleasant with very nice staff. the accommodation was very well equipped and very clean with the daily cleaning.
Was das Zimmer (4er Frauen Zimmer), den Platz und die Sauberkeit angeht, ist dies das beste Hostel, in dem ich je war!
As for the Room (4er Frauen Zimmer), the Square and the Cleanliness, this is the best Hostel I have ever been to!

I was a bit concerned about cleanliness and air conditioning after reading some of the reviews but there was absolutely no issue. Every room has air conditioning. I think those who wrote otherwise may have confused this place with another hostel. The bedding and towels were clean. There were a few tiny marks, but everything smelled freshly laundered. Unless you’re using brand-new towels, I think a few small stains like that are perfectly acceptable in a hostel. Are there even any hostels that...
This was the most charming accommodation I’ve come across during my travels. As a travel writer, I journey all over the world, and this time, I happened to visit Koh Tao while covering the southern islands of Thailand. C’était propre et confortable. Le personnel était également très aimable. Ceux qui disent que la porte de la chambre ne se verrouille pas ne savent probablement pas comment la fermer. Il suffit d'appuyer sur un bouton c’est tout. Dire que ça ne marche pas simplement parce qu’on ne sait pas l’utiliser, c’est un peu embarrassant, non ?
It was clean and comfortable. The staff was also very friendly. Those who say the bedroom door doesn't lock probably don't know how to close it. Just press a button and that's it. To say it doesn't work just because you don't know how to use it is a little embarrassing, isn't it?
