Bed bugs!

We couldn’t enjoy our trip properly because of the hostel bed bugs chaos!!! We literally couldn’t sleep and had to go to the reception asking what they can do but they couldn’t help and we had to book an hotel for the next days…their laundry machines didn’t work!! I don’t know how people give are staying with bed bugs around biting them…I literally had a rash problem!!!

I was going to stay here, had a reservation but decided to go to a hotel instead. I probably won't be getting my money back since it was nonrefundable but for less than 30 euros I won't cry about it. Reason why I didn't come was that I made the mistake to only check the reviews after booking and saw comments about bed bugs, even one with a video and another one with someone showing the bite marks around the body. I don't know what the deal is here but I won't take my chances and Prague has other hostels and what I learned from this is to never consider booking a place that doesn't have at least 4.8/4.9 stars on Google. I have nothing against you but bed bugs is a serious situation so I hope you can solve the bed bugs issue and good luck with your business. All the best

トコジラミに噛まれて泣きそうです。 寝る直前bedbugsと対面しました。空きベッドもなさそうだったので服を沢山来てそのまま寝ましたが3箇所くらいやられました。36人部屋のマイナス点の1つですね。 シーツも交換されてたし、床も掃除機かけてたりと清潔面は気を使っていそうでしたがこんな目にあってしまいました。 かゆすぎる、、 トイレやシャワールームは男女別で、清潔感がありました。 ただキッチンは狭いです。地下にあるので暗いのとキッチンに椅子は3つしかないです、どの時間も混んでるので料理することは諦めました。

The ckecout is 12:00…11:40 2 cleaners invaded the room and startet to clean. I found bedbugs, god bits all over my body, and when I shared with the receptionist she just thanks for the information.

la higiene de las camas son cuestionables, me pica todo el cuerpo y la cara. Pague 50€ por una noche durmiendo con 34 personas más.

Globalement c'est un bon établissement. Il y a un petit déjeuner à 7€ qui est satisfaisant mais pas la folie non plus. Le personnel est à l'écoute et aidant mais je n'ai pas du tout apprécié de constater avoir des piqures de punaises de lit 2 jours après mon arrivée. J'ai vu un mot dans la chambre qui disait qu'ils la fermaient sans explication. C'était donc pour ça mais lorsque je l'ai signalé on a fait comme si de rien était. Aucune compensation n'a été proposée.

I had bed bugs/fleas in my bed, first night it wasn’t too bad, I thought it was mosquitoes - the second night it was horrendous - as shown in photos and I woke up and went straight to reception to let them know - the two men working on the morning of Saturday the 26th of July were so kind and understanding, offering me a laundry token, a dryer token and some shampoo. I was heading out for the day and they informed me my sheets would be changed by the time I returned. I returned to two other staff, one who was very rude and dismissive (male), the lady was lovely. I went to check my room and the sheets had not been changed, which I informed them off, which they then arranged to get it changed. The lady then helped me wrap up the skin (as advised by the pharmacist). I then went to do a load of washing and drying, and as I was about to start the dryer, the message on the dryer displayed ‘change filter’ - I informed reception and the male said ‘don’t worry about that, just turn it off and back on’ which I did, but the clothes were not dry, even after 80 minutes of drying. While I waited for my clothes to dry, the overnight staff had commenced their shift. I went to inform them that my clothes were not dry and one of the males said ‘well did you change the filter’ to which I informed them what the previous staff had told me to do. Additionally, I do not believe it is my duty to clean the filter- that should be the responsibility of the staff at Czech Inn. He then came and showed me how to change the filter, something I would do if I were at home but again, should not have to do on a property I am paying to stay at. Overall, I would not recommend this venue. Some of the staff were friendly, but overall, the treatment I received as a result of their poor hygiene was subpar. Now I have to pay to seek medical advice and buy supplies to maintain the condition of my horrendous skin as a result of bed bugs/fleas.

There were bedbugs and me and my friends ended up just leaving early

The location was a decent walk away from the main tourist area. It was a huge hostel with many people but some facilities there were not many of e.g. one working dryer for what must be 100+ people. We also found bed bugs in our beds. The team handled it well + were helpful, finding us a new place and then moving us to a private room the next night & assisting us with laundry, however it still really affected our experience. We hope that the hostel can find ways to eradicate bugs between guests.

We stayed in the private room. I found a blood stain on the bed sheets in the morning and a red itchy spot on my back. They do definitely have bed bugs.

The 24-person dormitory on the ground floor had bed bugs behind the wooden paneling where the light and charging outlets are. Saw ratings from years ago also talked about this, but I assumed (wrongly) that it had been resolved. Went to the front desk to notify them about this and was met with little help, claiming no beds were available and downplaying my concerns. They also said that a simple cleaner would fix the problem, which is frankly impossible if you know anything about bed bugs.

Mi experiencia con Czech inn lamentablemente fue horrible. Mi cama estaba infestada de Chinches (bedbugs) y me picaron toda, causándome ronchas, picaduras en todo el cuerpo, he solicitado el reembolso por varios medios, pero no tengo éxito por parte de ellos. Tuve que tirar mi ropa por que tmb estaba llena de chinches y eso me parece injusto. Afectaron mis cosas y mi salud. Y ellos no creo que hagan algo al respecto! En cuanto al hotel, la cocina estaba muy sucia, los platos, pero entiendo que eso viene de los huéspedes, los baños también, con muy mal olor. En mi cuarto no le importo a un inquilino y estaba desnudo cambiándose, cada quien pero para mí fue desagradable. Max quien esta en recepción, es un chico increíble, me apoyó en todo y su atención es excelente. También el chico que estaba en la noche y que estuvo mientras sucedió todo el embrollo, me apoyó demasiado, pero no pudo ayudarme con mi reembolso. Lamentablemente no puedo adjuntar videos, pero dejo fotos de las chinches, y vuelvo a ver las fotos y me da una sensación horrible y comezón en todo el cuerpo 😭😭😭😭😭 De verdad espero puedan ver esto y darme una solución! Esto es una contestación porque no se como responder x aquí: 1. por supuesto que escribí mande correos y por Instagram, nunca respondieron. mejor pongan más atención al servicio a clientes. Nunca respondieron. Así que Porfavor no quieran lavarse las manos. 2. Si me dieron un cuarto porque era madrugada y que hacía yo? No le quedó de otra que cambiarme . 3. El chavo pudo ver que mi ropa no se lava en lavadora y que eso dañaría aún así mi ropa, no es por andar presumiendo, pero mi ropa es de calidad. 4. El dijo que te iba que hacer el rembolso por parte de hostel word y claro ellos me regresaron el apartado, pero no toda la cantidad que se cobro en el hostal y dijeron que ustedes tendrían que reembolsarme eso.

I recently stayed at a hostel in Prague for a few days, and while most aspects of the stay were great—clean facilities, comfortable common areas, and a generally welcoming atmosphere—there were a couple of issues. Bed Bugs don’t go

Can’t really say much good about this place after I got assaulted by bed bugs - bathroom/shower also constantly smelt super strange. Kitchen was OK and bar had a decent vibe.

We planned to stay three nights in the 34 dorm. However after the first night we woke up with bed bugs. The employees were helpful and we could receive full refund.

I had bedbugs in my room….

Booked one of the 30+ people dorms, saw bedbug eggs all under the mattress. The manager was quick to act and offered us a great solution to move into a brand new, private room for no extra cost and assured us that the problem would be dealt with. Our private room was really good, clean and spacious.

Got bedbugs so had move out so it ruined my plans all together. Avoid it!!!!

- The bathroom with the toilet (inside the dorm) had a urine smell. It would be good to replace the toilet brush on a regular (and also clean the bathroom floor). - I was missing towels/paper for my hands in the bathroom. - Shower water turns off after a few seconds. Would be better if the water could run a bit longer. - Unfortunately there were no shower heads, which I find much more convenient for showering. - The bathroom floor is very wet after showering. Would be good if a tool was provided so you can collect the water after showering. - There are curtains on the beds, but they are really short and unfortunately don't do much. I would prefer curtains that are larger. - The ladder to get to the top bunk is kind of weird and inconvenient. I later switched to a bottom bunk, but it was difficult to get to the top bunk and the ladder hurt my feet. Nevertheless, I was very satisfied with my stay and would book it again!

The location is great for major trams that take you right past big tourist destinations. While staying in the 36 bed dorm an infestation of bed bugs occurred, and when staff were notified they said they had known about them for a month and still let people stay in the room. It was a horrible feeling thinking that bed bugs would end up in all our things and then be spread to other places we stayed afterwards. Not impressed with how it was handled at all.

Do not book the large 32 bed dorm there is a bed bug infestation and when we first went to show reception they said we could change beds. However, our other beds also had bed bugs so it took a second time of complaining before we could get our rooms changed. Additionally, the washing and drying is way overpriced. The only positive is the tram stop is close by.
